Airtable is great but want a little more
What do you like best about the product?
I love the features airtable has to offer, especially the automations. I think it's a great tool that helps me stay organized. Some features are easy and intuitve to use which makes creating tables a breeze. I also really like the talk to expert feature they offer when you aren't sure of something.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think an area where airtable can improve is trainings. There have been times I've tried to search how to do something or retrace steps shown by an expert and it is hard or confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our company has just used airtable to create an accessible tracker for products that brings together teams that were not working together before. I now have more visibility into things I never did before, which makes my job easier because now I can access without having to ask certain teams.
Airtable Can do it all...almost
What do you like best about the product?
I love the no-code customization. I love the admin panel and how easy it is to monitor user usage for 100+ users.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish Airtable was more ADA-compliant. I also dislike how hard it is to get support from Airtable support staff. I often get no response at all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable has helped our company create a universal platform without restrictions allowing our partners to send referrals across regional mapping.
Airtable had been my #1 tool for 10+ years
What do you like best about the product?
The versatility of Airtable has allowed me to introduce it as a tool to every role I've worked in the last 10 years. I've primarily been apart of small businesses or non-profits that lack systematized processes. Airtable's ease-of-use, dependability, automations, and more has improved the efficiency and operations of each organization I've assisted.
What do you dislike about the product?
They used to have a much more extensive template library. It was both their own creation and adoptions from their own users that all members could replicate and implement. While they still have this, it's not as extensive.
Additionally, it does have some limitations. In my current role, we parted with Asana in efforts to consolidate to one SaaS with Airtable. However, Airtable's ability to manage an individual's tasks and workload pales in comparison to Asana. We wish they had an easier way to set up recurring tasks. We have attempted to replicate it but it requires an extensive amount of knowledge and loopholes.

It's eliminated our need for multiple platforms. We've managed to unsubscribe from Asana, Zendesk, Buffer and more as we've adopted the use of Airtable.
It's streamlined systems and processes and allows for documentation of the processes along the way.

Versatile, Easy Tool But Lacks Some Depth
What do you like best about the product?
This is a great tool for a small to medium enterprise, or a large one with varied use cases and many smaller business units. The variety of views and ever-growing Interface features make it flexible for many different needs.
The biggest advantage for us is it's ease of use: with some limited initial training, our business units can set up their own project trackers, workflows, submission pipelines, etc.

What do you dislike about the product?
In the last year especially, Airtable's priorities have generally tended to be "flashier" features (glorified templates, overpriced gen-AI, etc.) rather than simply going deeper on the solid foundations they already have. It would be great for them to expand on bread-and-butter features like formulas and automations instead. Their customer service is also lacking, though a robust community helps make up for that. Pricing at the enterprise level is also not ideal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Business units want solutions tailor-made to their data and uses, but this can be time-consuming to set up. Airtable empowers stakeholders to create their own portals, project managers, etc., saving immense time on iterating solutions with them.
Easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
The best part about Airtable is how well it integrates with other systems. I constantly sync Salesforce and Zendesk reports to Airtable so I can tailor them to my needs. The other thing that I like best about Airtable is how you can set up as many different views as you want for many different purposes. Whenever a stakeholder wants to use Google Sheets, I suggest using Airtable because it allows you to format data in so many different ways without constantly filtering and unfiltering data.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have had some issues with users adding others to Airtable bases that didn't have licenses, which increased our spending, but Airtable has resolved this issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable allows us to pull data from Salesforce into a Calendar view for our Office Manager to track in person projects. We were unable to solve this problem with other platforms without issues or extra work.
Airtable also allows us to pull data from Zendesk for users who do not have Zendesk access.
Airtable has allowed us to develop an automation that creates multiple Zoom sessions on behalf of other users all at one time.
I use Airtable as a trigger for many of my Zaps in Zapier because it is very easy to manually create records for testing.

Airtable is easy to use and does it all
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is a perfect blend of simplicity and capability. Its interface is intuitive and will feel familiar to anyone who has used a spreadsheet. But behind that pretty face is a powerful relational database that affords almost unlimited opportunities for extensiblity and integration with other products.
What do you dislike about the product?
New users to Airtable may, because of the spreadsheet-like interface, not immediately grasp the product's full capability, and may actually become frustrated that it does not exactly mimic the more familiar spreadhseet. A little new-user training is helpful and should mitigate this.

We imported a member database (which had fallen into disuse because nobody knew how it worked) into Airtable, and now it gets used daily and in so many different ways. With scripting and webhooks, the database is integrated with our MailChimp and so we can manage our mailing list directly from our member database.
Database for all things
What do you like best about the product?
A very convinient way to store all the information and share across various teams. I love that there is a gallery of templates that you can choose from and that you can create automations to do almost anything.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a dislike but this tool is definitely not super intuitive and requires some time to get a grasp on and using it is a forever learning experience.

Helps to track projects and requests
Most flexible project aid software ever!
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is the most flexible platform I've ever used for managing lots of data across multiple teams. Our team uses it every day as our Marketing Project management system. We started off using one of the pre-built templates, but then added tons of features and automations to make it work for our entire team. This took some tooling and creativity, but now it's a project management beast–and I'm still creating new features each day.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest benefit to Airtable is also it's biggest downfall. The platform is so flexible that it can take a long time to build structures (like project managment review processes) that are pre-built in other similar products (like Asana). Airtable is so much more flexible than Asana, but due to it's flexibility, it can be more complex to re-create those baked in features of other programs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable is our one solution for project management across more than 10 people. It also serves as a Request intake system for the rest of the organization to submit project requests. We've built interfaces so individuals can visually track their projects and tasks for manager 1:1s and review assigned pieces for needing reviewed. All of this connects our remote team and is one source of truth that keeps us aligned.
It’s my brain outside my brain!
What do you like best about the product?
My company had lots of institutional knowledge sitting in different tools and in different people's heads. Airtable allowed me to collect, organize it, correlate it and make it accessible to the entire organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
The pricing structure is a bit confusing and I find it a distraction to what is otherwise a very pleasurable user experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable helps me standardize knowledge across my business unit and make it accessible to everyone who needs it. It also allows me to automate tasks and data collection surrounding that knowledge. Lastly, it gives me full control over how I want to present that knowledge to the world.
Airtable, the flexible product that does it all
What do you like best about the product?
I like how I can create complex interfaces with limited coding knowlege. My department uses airtable for everything and it allows us to link data between bases. Creating a new base or interface is simple and easy. Base ops meetings are very helpful from Airtable's customer support team. They have helped us solve several problems with expert guidance. Airtable weaves in with many other softwares like, Teams, Slack, Outlook and more. We make use of more integrations each day. Airtable is a product that has become a part of our daily routine. There is a low learning curve for getting started so Airtable is a good product for all users.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a way to push a sync on tables by pushing an interface button. I also would like to see the ability to copy and paste sections of an inteface to new pages.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Airtable as a CRM, as a job scheduling paltform, as a employee time tracker, as a rental management system and so much more. Every new idea we have ends up in Airtable one way or the other. Airtable has replaced multiple products that we have been subscribed to.
