A great start for developing business
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable allows small businesses to experiment in a simple way what could be their large-scale operation.
It facilitates the transition from manual or local tools to the different APIs and databases on the web.
It facilitates the transition from manual or local tools to the different APIs and databases on the web.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are still certain limitations compared to a self-managed database. Migrating information or managing data from different databases still requires customized solutions. Currently there is no method to have test databases that can easily migrate their functions to production.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have bases and interfaces for the management of resources and personnel of the company.
We are currently migrating the entire internal ticketing system to Airtable.
It is also the database for one of our no-code products.
The use of interfaces facilitated the rapid digitization of operational processes.

One of the best options, but still not quite what I wish I had
What do you like best about the product?
It's a convenient place for me to organize lots of information in one place, and to have some flexibility in terms of different kinds of bases.
What do you dislike about the product?
I seem to need many "workarounds" to try to get the functionality that I need...and it still can't do some of the things that I want. There are things that require lots of steps and ongoing manual intervention to set up (such as recurring tasks, the ability to "nest" hierarchical work tasks) and some things that I just can't do at all. There is a lot of rigidity in terms of creating visual interfaces or forms that reflect my preferred style. I'm running up against storage limits, which require me to isolate information into multiple workspaces instead of having a nicely integrated system. Costs of upgrading are prohibitive for me as a one-person small business.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it for ways that are not listed above...for instance, I use it to gather data from community partners and I create dashboards to share the information with collaborators. I would loveto integrate things with airtable more across platforms.
A very useful tool for creating and managing anything efficiently
What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility and efficiency of setup for any application imaginable. Easy and fast to setup and get up and running, constant development and feedback updates from air table makes it easy to find new ways to present and interact with existing "bases"
What do you dislike about the product?
If you are looking for a industry or application specific solution with narrow scope and limited capabilities airtable is not for you. If you like creative freedom and almost endless flexibility its perfect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project management that is company wide, yet easily filtered by department, lifecycle, and business type. Each unit has a view of need to know information, while management gets a big picture view.
AirTable Simplifies Projects and Makes them Manageable
What do you like best about the product?
The functionality and ease of use are the best things about AirTable. The ability to view only the information you want, the way you want, it invaluable.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only complaint I have is the ability to connect with many other software does not exist (yet).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing large amounts of data and making it easier to view and navigate.
The most powerful tool in your belt!
What do you like best about the product?
That it makes me into a superhero at the office! The ease of use in being able to quickly create and implement new workflows into my daily routine is amazing. I have been able to solve many small problems (and a couple large ones too) that would have either required to much time to address or would have simply been ignored.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing that I can think of! Honestly! I've been using Airtable for approximately 7 years now. I used it for 4 yrs at my previous job and found it to be so invaluable that I made it a condition of employment with my current employer when they offered me the job. I can't work without Airtable!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it for:
• HR functions
- Employment application logging, status tracking
- New Hire Onboarding process with completion status
- Employee discipline logging and tracking
- Employee performance reviews
- Employee locker assignment tracking
- Tracking FMLA
- Employee accident/injury logs and reports
- Employee call-off's
• Deptartment Specific Process Tracking
- Tracking of detailed processes that previously required Excel sheets that where too large for users to manage/understand
• FORMS!
- Using various forms for quickly collecting data and information within our organization

Airtable for Project Data
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable has a user friendly interface, makes viewing and sorting data easy, supports shareable links for curated views, and integrates data collection through forms easily. I use Airtable on a daily basis to track the progress of virtual learning content, pull data for use in the project, catalog available resources, and receive client input. Airtable helps keep my team on the same page. Their sales team has been responsive and I've been able to easily set up live virtual calls to address potential Airtable solutions and utilization. I'm excited to find uses for the interfaces feature with the new user access updates.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although I find Airtable easy and intuitive to use, I have found that many team members experience a bit of a learning curve when beginning to use it. I would love to see more integrations in the future, particularly with Monday, which is the platform my organization has chosen to use for ongoing project tracking. Overall, the benefits and features of Airtable far exceed any challenges.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable is our database for all product information and is also used for project management and tracking. We primarily use it internally and also utilize it with our client and external stakeholders as a resource catalog. We are abel to collect feedback and requests from stakeholders and seamlessly integrate the data.
Airtable is like our favorite spreadsheet on steriods!
What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive, user-friendly input makes for fantastically fast data collection and quick results!
What do you dislike about the product?
We would prefer a real customer support experience when we have questions. The forum and "help" features are helpful, but having a real person to help us troubleshoot problems and answer our questions would be great!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work in education. (which, oddly enough isn't even an option on Airtable user dropdowns) We use it for scheduling and tracking multiple people, events, supplies. Our favorite thing about Airtable is that it automatically notifies various people of things that happen, which in turn requires actions on their part. It saves me so much time and energy notifying others and trying to keep our process moving on my own.
My Experience with Airtable
What do you like best about the product?
I love the user interface of Airtable. It is incredibly clean and easy to filter and group my data. I also love being able to create automations for emails and updating existing entries. It makes my workflow customizable and straightforward.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, the automations are difficult to create when I want a specific outcome. For example, I want to update an existing entry with new submitted information, but it was quite challenging to make it work using the Record ID. I struggled to find the right information online to help me. Also, sometimes scrolling through numerous tags when editing them is clunky.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable has created an incredible database for recording applications for programs and other information my business must keep track of. We use it to track swag usage, engagement numbers, and applications. It's easy to export information and filter when needed.
Great with some simple improvements
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is a substantial upgrade for our remote office from the piece-meal systems we had in place before. We use it across all of our programs and departments and have been pleased with its flexibility and most integrations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Production seems to be nonresponsive regarding user requests for basic functions. The ability to sort our organization's extensive bases into folders by department has been requested in support forums for years and hasn't been implemented. The ability to send plain text emails by automation when integrating records should also be a fairly easy toggle that hasn't been offered yet. I'd also love to get restricted access available at a cheaper tier as we are a small nonprofit but would like to use Airtable for the handling of personnel and donor data reporting without the entire team having access to it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves a disjointed workflow system in a remote office
Powerful, user friendly, and ever adapting
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Airtable is colorful and interactive, allowing you to collaborate in real time with your coworkers, AND the product development team at Airtable is constantly adding amazing improvements to the tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some specific features that I wish were available that, even after submitting a feature request, they don't seem to be able or willing to provide. For example, our organization uses Airtable to send out emails to external stakeholders, and we cannot include a static PDF attachment without a link to a file sharing service- Why not allow us to include a single PDF file as an automated response to an inputted form?
In addition, even as user friendly as Airtable is, it can be overwhelming to new users and take some time to learn.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Hugely increasing efficiency for large team project coordination over multiple weeks of production. Being able to edit the tool to work how I want it to work is awesome, and I can build interfaces that look the way my teammates prefer it to look. This is allowing us to move past using older, inefficient methods like a running Microsoft Word document for project management timelines.
