Great interface and function, but a bit of a learning curve for unexperienced users.
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to customize data and bases to whatever use case you have.
What do you dislike about the product?
Difficulty in getting less experienced users to adopt because of perceived learning curve due to the overwhelming amount of possibilities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable is serving as hub for our business....acting as a customized and integrated crm and project management tool. I also find myself utilizing for all kinds of random use cases internally and for other clients.
A bit of a learning curve, but incredibly useful
What do you like best about the product?
We use Airtable to track editorial workflow and for project management, with a combination of paid seats and free viewers. So much more powerful and useful than a spreadsheet. We use it daily to keep track of who's doing what and the status of various projects. There's a learning curve, but once you get the hang of it it's an incredible resource.
What do you dislike about the product?
The paid user fees rack up fast, although the $10 credits for new members is nice. I know there are ways to link bases and integrate outside apps that would make our data even more useful, but I don't have the expertise or the time to acquire it. I wish there were Integrations for Dummies.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Running and building a digital news business requires ways to manage editorial workflow, monitor business development projects and track advertising and sponsorship. Airtable lets us perform all of these tasks in one place rather than using separate software for each.
Airtable is the best - switched from Podio
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable is lightning fast, I can update on my phone and I can see realtime updates on my computer screen. Super handy when working with a team.
What do you dislike about the product?
No downsides at all, the learning curve for some of the automations can be tricky at times but not a big deal at all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It keeps our real estate transactions super organized and it's easy to find exactly what we are looking for at any time.
Dynamic - Easy to Use - Business Critical Features Available
What do you like best about the product?
The variety of ways to display data - including Kanban, Timelines, datatable and Gallery. Definitely satisfied with the types of fields I can use to display data. Love the forms and the interfaces as well. I have been able to manage an entire software product build from AirTable only becuase of the platforms flexibility.
What do you dislike about the product?
At my company we use very basic features and more support on formulas and interfaces would make the product more useful in general. Having a ask function (chatGPT) would greatly improve usability and business need. I think most items can just be done in other free services.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing tasks with developers and creating a dynamic system to get them done. The comment section is great and significantly supports our development process. Additionally, how to manage a large project from a single platform.
Great for Academic Library Use
What do you like best about the product?
Do you like Excel/Google Sheets but have so much data that they have gotten unweildy? Airtable takes the logic of a database and makes it SUPER SIMPLE. Your data across multiple tabs can work together so that you can easily track projects and workflows. This is like Excel.. ecxept better and easier to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish they had more templates to choose from and more ways to peek at other company's bases so I can get ideas for how to better utilize the functionality. Sometimes I do things and I know there must be an easier way but I can't figure it out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking our patron requests, tracking our work-for-hire projects and coupling them with invoices and receipts to track payment in real-time, tracking digitization projects from start to finish, tracking work in the lab kanban-style to make sure we can give accurate start/finish dates for statements of work.
Powerful, adaptable, intuitive platform
What do you like best about the product?
As a no-code, low-code Operations Nerd, I have found a new love language in Airtable. It has allowed me to intuitively create powerful administrative systems for my company and side projects that have enabled so much organization and impact for my endeavors. I love the open-endedness of it, and the fact that is always being improved.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the automations are a bit difficult, and it is hard to figure out why they are not working particularly with 3rd party integrations.
I wish there were more options for embedding dashboards and interfaces in websites.

Airtable is the best and most flexible platform
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about airtable is that it is full customizable to your business!
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to be able to view interfaces on my phone
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They allow me to track all my deals, the stages they are in, gifting, my database, automations and so much more!
There's a reason I dream in airtable
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to build just about anything a small business would need in one software.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's database visualization is a little be desired at this point in its development.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is helping us have one source of truth for all of our data and information needs, with multiple waysto display and share that information across the organization.
The automations help reduce the amount of repeated workflows that are often forgotten about anyway.

Airtable review by and Airtable consultant
What do you like best about the product?
Airtable allows you to build custom systems that bring together datasets that would often reside in their own (siloed) systems. The flexibility is near endless when you consider all the additional tools you can integrate with.
What do you dislike about the product?
A few limitations are especially annoying:
1. Inability to include extensions in interfaces
2. Inability to embed or put static images in any interface page (e.g. put a company logo on a dashboard)
3. Limited to 50 automations per base.
4. Inability to do condition groups in automation trigger logic.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows rapid development of tools that can be developed with out (much) code and then handed off to non-technical users to own with minimal ongoing involvement.
Almost infinitely adaptable and user-friendly
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Airtable can be adapted to a wide variety of uses and set up is pretty easy once you're comfortable with the interface and some of the terminology. I'm using it on a daily basis for task management, grant deliverables and invoice tracking, and as a contacts database. I've even found uses for it in my personal life. The automations are helpful and user-friendly and I've set up a couple integrations with Google.
What do you dislike about the product?
The billing schema was difficult to understand at first and it was a major stumbling block not to be able to pay by Purchase Order but we made Airtable's credit-card only policy work. The inability to share an Interface publicly without people having to log-in was very frustrating though this is changing for at least some types of Interfaces.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Airtable is enabling coordination of a remote team. It allows us to attach conversations (through comments) to specific tasks without having to sift through emails. Crucially, it's helping track ingoing and outgoing invoices visible by all team members where before, we had no formal system. Likewise, it's helping us stay up do date with dozens of contracts across dozens of contractors. It's definitely helped expand workload capacity.
