CircieCI is easy to use and helped us be more agile!
What do you like best about the product?
Easy setup and integrations! You can deploy to Heroku/AWS with ease!
What do you dislike about the product?
Documentation was a bit scattered I felt, but after a while it wasn't so bad.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a way to build a pipeline. Code -> Push -> Test -> Deploy
CircleCI met those needs and more!

CircleCI was with us all the way
What do you like best about the product?
So far circleci has been following our company in everything we do. We based all our workflow around CI, there have been downtimes, there have been small technical issues to overcome - but in general, circleci has took a huge load out of our shoulders. Support has been provided by engineers, company is striving to improve it's product and doesn't stop on what they achieved. Thei CircleCI 2.0 version seems very promising already (and it's only Beta).
What do you dislike about the product?
There are no major issues i can remember - we had some problems with environment variables not being stable to rely on. During platform switch some components have been turn-off by default and took a while to figure out. All those have been solved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CircleCi has been an essential tool to improve quality of our products. We've been heavily reliant on automating everything we can - from testing, to code review to automated code analysis. We also managed to remove human factor from platform deployment and we gave away this responsibility to CircleCI.
Using it with Rails
What do you like best about the product?
I love the simplistic user interface and the notifications on web. I appreciate the intergration with github and easy of install with Rails. The open pull request button is so handy now!
What do you dislike about the product?
The service is very similar to other services and needs to find a way to individualize from other competitors.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Running tests, and saving time, improving quality for the application.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
That is is easy for setup and has a great free plan. We also use the two container plan to increase speed of builds.
Keeping things simple
What do you like best about the product?
Makes continuous integration very easy. Love that it integrates well with Github
What do you dislike about the product?
Setting it up initially can be a bit tricky
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
eCommerce coalitions. Circle has made it easy to continually release new features.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Integrate with Github
Really neat but not perfect
What do you like best about the product?
I like the easy way to set up a build,
nice out-of-the box intergration with GitHub,
SSH access to machine

What do you dislike about the product?
The full integration with Docker is still pending,
Inability to run a job in a cron (you can always overcome it with Amazon Lambda and API access to CircleCI)
Yaml syntax is not really helpful when trying to implement some logic regarding how to execute your build

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
building a new platform for Surety insurances
I've been using circleci to test and deploy code automatically for over 6 months now
What do you like best about the product?
Flexibility, since its just an ubuntu container I really have the ability to customize my test/build procedures to however I need it to happen
What do you dislike about the product?
not much, but I guess pricing. I think for $50 a month we should get more than just 2 concurrent builds
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
its much easier to produce builds now that its as simple as pushing new code to a certain branch
Been great, few bumps but not that bad
What do you like best about the product?
Automated tests and deployments based on Github commits
What do you dislike about the product?
Some containers screw up from time to time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Benefits management for companies. We can ship software faster
A Good Option for Hosted Continuous Integration
What do you like best about the product?
It is very simple to configure a build and connect it with Github for continuous integration. Deployment to well known hosts such as Heroku is equally simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much to differentiate this service from competitors. There are a number of CI solutions that all work and this is simply another option.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using CircleCi to manage our continuous integration process. New branches and commits are recognized via integration with Github and a build is automatically triggered. Certain branches can be tagged to run deploy commands if all tests are successful.
CircleCI is capable, sometimes.
What do you like best about the product?
when it works, it works well. Set it and forget it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The live update on the dashboard is often dead wrong, requires refreshing page
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
helps ensure we aren't releasing broken features to production, always a huge benefit.
Feature heavy system which is a joy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Love that I can get a one-off project up and running in minutes but can also extend it to work with complicated builds.
What do you dislike about the product?
Support surrounding Docker is lacking a bit but I see a 2.0 release where that is focused more coming up soon.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a tight CI build is critical for the startup I work for. Having a fast and easy-to-understand CI system makes it easy for us to have confidence in our software deployment process.
