Easy tool to have video conference
What do you like best about the product?
I started using Jitsi while working from home as a conferencing platform to connect with my teammates. I like Jitsy for attending group meetings. Usually we are around 6-10 people. I also like the background change feature in video conferencing.
What do you dislike about the product?
The quality of video when we share screen slightly drops. However, the clarity should be improved while sharing the screen as there is a considerable data consumption.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently I prefer Jitsi due its ease of use for quick online video conferencing. Likewise, it is a good tool to have one to one calls seamlessly.

Best conferencing with Jitsi
What do you like best about the product?
Jitsi is a very nice platform for connecting with people. The video quality they deliver and the features they have are really nice. Very easy to use and easy to implement. their customer support is also great. You can use this frequently and very easy to integrate.
What do you dislike about the product?
Jitsi is a very great platform. They can work on their logo part which is a bit confusing. The updated logo colors are really great but the old one was a bit confusing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jitsi is helping us to connect with our customers and other team members. We organize our meeting here. You can have endless meetings on this platform for free. Your data and conversation will be totally safe with Jitsi.
great - but inertia getting other people to use it is troublesome
What do you like best about the product?
It is a really good platform, and clearly very good when it comes to the issue of using it with fewer concerns about privacy and cost than other alternatives. It seems to do the job fine and is as good/bad as any of the other things I have used.
What do you dislike about the product?
People do not know the name, they don't like using new tools, and it seems that the integrations with other things are (probably necessarily) limited.
The biggest of these is that people do not want to download a new thing on their computer/use something they think might be vulnerable. Ironically, the best thing about this (other than maybe the cost) is that people are worried that it could be very vulnerable to someone breaching security or being spied on by an unknown organisation.
Obviously, if you are the only one using it, it is not going to catch on. And, in particular, for organisations, contracts are signed, change is hard, and especially difficult is that no/most system admins do not know it and so do not want to support it.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have used it in some enlightened organisations who are not happy with the idea of supporting the big players in the field (Zoom, Microsoft, etc.), but that is because people make the effort on ideological matters like this. It solves the same problems as NextCloud and Open Office,, or other open source software (and all the benefits that come with that) can do.
I am a jitsi user it is very user friendly.
What do you like best about the product?

Highly protected
What do you like best about the product?
Connection is always good, never had any issues related to connection. Most of our partners prefer Jitsi as it is highly protected, and trustworthy platform. Highly recommended to use!
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not clearly understood full capacity of the of Jitsi, lots of additional buttons, perhaps I will need to spend a bit more time. Sometime cannot connect from my phone - probably due to my network
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quick to connect with colleagues located on the other side of the globe, and Jitsi advises on the time difference, which is always convenient when you might forget to take it into account

Great tool for quick and easy meetings
What do you like best about the product?
Jitsi has quickly become my go-to video-sharing platform, and it's easy to see why. This open-source gem has completely transformed how I collaborate with my team and connect with friends and family. In a crowded space of video conferencing tools, Jitsi stands out with its simplicity, versatility, and commitment to user privacy.
What sets Jitsi apart right from the start is its ease of use. No downloads or installations are required, making it incredibly convenient for hosts and participants. With just a few clicks, you're in a virtual meeting room, ready to share ideas, discuss projects, or catch up with loved ones. The user interface is clean and intuitive and doesn't overwhelm you with unnecessary features.
The video and audio quality on Jitsi are superb, even in low-bandwidth situations. The platform seamlessly adjusts to varying network conditions, ensuring a smooth and uninterrupted meeting experience. Screen sharing, document collaboration, and chat are all integrated seamlessly, making it an excellent choice for work-related tasks.

What do you dislike about the product?
Jitsi may not have as many advanced features or integrations as some of its competitors. Organizations with very specific needs might find the feature set lacking compared to other video conferencing tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Jtisi to generate quick meetings especially for users who might be experiencing some trouble generating meetings
Perhaps the best free videoconferencing tools
What do you like best about the product?
Jitis is built on open source code and thus any security concerns can easily be identified and patched by community members.
For this reason, open source software like Jitsi is more likely to be secure and trustworthy than an proprietary and closed source option like Zoom

What do you dislike about the product?
The free server is sometimes not fast enough to maintain a solid connection during our meetings. This is an occasional problem, but it has occured. More robust connections would ensure a better user experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
During COVID, we moved our exercise classes online. At the time, Jitisi was one of the few free services so we started with it. In hindsight, this was a great choice as Jitsi proved itself as capable of matching any of the big-name tools that are far more costly.
