Great tool for quick and easy meetings
What do you like best about the product?
Jitsi has quickly become my go-to video-sharing platform, and it's easy to see why. This open-source gem has completely transformed how I collaborate with my team and connect with friends and family. In a crowded space of video conferencing tools, Jitsi stands out with its simplicity, versatility, and commitment to user privacy.
What sets Jitsi apart right from the start is its ease of use. No downloads or installations are required, making it incredibly convenient for hosts and participants. With just a few clicks, you're in a virtual meeting room, ready to share ideas, discuss projects, or catch up with loved ones. The user interface is clean and intuitive and doesn't overwhelm you with unnecessary features.

What do you dislike about the product?
Jitsi may not have as many advanced features or integrations as some of its competitors. Organizations with very specific needs might find the feature set lacking compared to other video conferencing tools.

We use Jtisi to generate quick meetings especially for users who might be experiencing some trouble generating meetings

Jitis is built on open source code and thus any security concerns can easily be identified and patched by community members.
For this reason, open source software like Jitsi is more likely to be secure and trustworthy than an proprietary and closed source option like Zoom

What do you dislike about the product?
The free server is sometimes not fast enough to maintain a solid connection during our meetings. This is an occasional problem, but it has occured. More robust connections would ensure a better user experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
During COVID, we moved our exercise classes online. At the time, Jitisi was one of the few free services so we started with it. In hindsight, this was a great choice as Jitsi proved itself as capable of matching any of the big-name tools that are far more costly.

What do you like best about the product?
This solution made it much easier to work with both internal and external teams. The connection to Word and Excel files is excellent because it is a component of the Microsoft environment. Productivity increases when teams focus on documents.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Jitsi is incredibly helpful, it can be quite slow at times, making it difficult to communicate quickly. Additionally, customization options are limited, making it challenging to adapt the platform to each team's unique needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All in all I had a wonderful time. Jitsi is an application that combines various relevant communication functions. Sharing files, managing teams, instant chatting, making audio and video calls, conducting informal surveys and screen sharing... Communication is a problem we're trying to solve, especially in the remote world. Tim, in my opinion, is an excellent tool to accomplish this. It's great that we only need one app for so many different tasks, and Teams has allowed us to maintain some kind of connection in our remote work environment.

What I really like about Jitsi is how easy it is to use, when entering the meetings, the interface is simple and that helps a lot to speed up the classes, they avoid typical problems.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I didn't like, to say some point, would perhaps be that it's a little different from better-known alternatives today, which forces students or users to have to install from 0.

It solved the problem of remote meetings during the pandemic, being a very effective alternative, and this applies to both the educational field and the work environment.

Jisti is Resource-intensive, consumes a lot of memory.

Incredible for talking on calls with friends and family
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to use, that it's free, that a large number of people can join the same video call, and also that it's customizable. A 10 out of 10 calling application.
What do you dislike about the product?
I believe there are things that are not so useful for a video conferencing application, such as the chat or also screen sharing. It consumes a lot of my computer's resources. I can't be playing and sharing my screen because it doesn't load for me.

In the end, I found an application to be able to make video conferences with important people in my work world or even for domestic use with friends or to talk with family.
