Great product and easy to use

What do you like best about the product?
The product is very easy to use and implement. A backup program is only as good as its ability to restore data when needed. It works perfectly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to dislike at this time. I have found the service very reliable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Backs up client data. Many do not realize that Microsoft or Google are not responsible for data loss. This is another layer of protection.

Slow restore and on the pricier price point compare to other backup solution

Because Microsoft does not responsible for any data loss it is your responsibility as MSP to backup your client's O365 environment.

DropSuite - Best in Class

What do you like best about the product?
DropSuite Email Backup and Archiving is a tool that you can set and forget and when needed a restore is a few clicks away.
The team at DropSuite also incredibly attentive to feature and support requests or product enhancements.
What do you dislike about the product?
As an MSP; the notifications to our PSA are not granular enough, so we are working with development to be able to control this at a company level rather than the whole organization which requires daily triage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Extending the ability to recover from Microsoft's default retention policies which leave much to be desired; just because it's in the cloud does not mean it does not need to be backed up. DropSuite extends our backup conversation with our clients beyond server and workstation backups.

What do you like best about the product?
The team has been very supportive of partner sales, having conducted onboarding and supporting us with our customer when there were issues with the product due to a large backup database.

Previously there was an error where data wasn't able to be restored from a SharePoint site where it wasn't loading at all.

The head of product team and engineer hopped on a call to explain the issue to our customer due to a Microsoft API integrations and large delta backups (1.6 million files at the time) that items could not load. They had resolved the issue with updates to the code.
What do you dislike about the product?
There hasn't been much for us to dislike. We have used the product quite easily.

Maybe one thing in mind is whether the UI can easily show the start date of subscription from the dashboard without going into customer details?

This would help us in terms of compiling billing renewals at a glance without having to click on each customer name.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to sell DLP Solution without having to pay for the entire next tier of Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace.

Support is also responsive when there are queries.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of setup and use. Also, my rep Austin, is a rockstar.
What do you dislike about the product?
The billing and payment system is less than desirable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've had to pull almost an entire MS Sharepoint site of data from the backup. It was very beneficial to get that data back.

What do you like best about the product?
Dropsuite was easy to install, minimal time to get the first backup started. Monitoring was easy to follow as well

Restores took some assistance from the tech support team
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dropsuite handled anything over 30 days for us in regards to backup and archiving not covered by Microsoft

the time it can take to restore files can be slow

helps manage cost as we know what we will be paying for per user as opposed to other solutions which charge per gb. the product also saves us time as it is so easy to deploy and manage.

Consistent and Reliable with awesome support

What do you like best about the product?
I like that their support is 24x7 and USA-based. The multiple times a day backup is true peace of mind, including the daily emailed report. If you need to do a restore of email, you can surely know the backup is there.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing really. The support is top quality. The entire process of backup and recovery is top quality. The only issue I had was they did not offer non-profit pricing when I signed up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem I'm solving using Dropsuite was to have consistent backup and archiving. Having multiple backups daily, it's helping me with clients who requests very specific recoveries. Having granular backup and recovery is a lifesaver for the client and super peace of mind knowing their data is safe 24x7.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use. Easy the fact that it is integrated with 365.
What do you dislike about the product?
A little bit of a challenge auditing users vs 365. However, Eric has been intrumental in helping with that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The benefits are the fact that we are able to do journaling and provide restores easily to our clients.
