What do you like best about the product?
Some of the features you like most about Lastpass are the simple and straightforward management of the graphical user interface, which includes a section of the different types of files associated with the various websites and profiles you own as a customer. The software is fully implemented under various conditions, as it has a smartphone, laptop, and web browser model. There are plugins that work very well for Chrome and Firefox without accessing the website and entering the login credentials.
What do you dislike about the product?
Repeated disruptions were included in the mobile version of Windows, which can pose a risk to your data security. If you enter an incorrect master password, you can open the database, but the information will be displayed in random characters; this should not happen, as you should not have access if the code is incorrect. This is an issue that was always present with the various changes you submitted and was not patched.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To process tons of passwords and information, I have used LastPass for my own use without having to pack any of the keys for my profile. The technology is capable of storing my notes and passwords on a centrally controlled platform, allowing me to quickly connect directly with my accounts without having to re-enter keys. LastPass has helped me edit my notes, which I want to protect at all times, while being available on any smartphone I use, without having to store them in plain text on my phone or in the office.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
LastPass is a truly comprehensive program for storing data that is protected from prying eyes and kept confidential. I have had a very positive experience with this tool, as using the paid version alone is more than enough to meet my basic qualifications and the profiles I use every day.

What do you like best about the product?
It is simple to use and easily combines with both the web browser and mobile apps. The option to connect personal accounts to a work email and also have LastPass automatically decide which one is a real time waster with hold credentials in.
What do you dislike about the product?
It may take a little while to synchronize updates to other users in datastores, occasionally having to actively clear the buffer or logout / login to have the modified secrets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Manage a wide collection of personal and business keys. Sharing worker credentials and controlling links to certain pages.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Perfect for a company that is in need of IT network planning.

The best way to store and manage your password securely

  • December 12, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
One of the things you like about Lastpass is the easy and intuitive handling of its graphical interface, with a section for different types of files that adapt to the different sites and accounts you have as a user and that you want to store any type of information securely. Additionally, it has plugins for Chrome and Firefox that work very well without having to enter the page and input your credentials.
What do you dislike about the product?
In its desktop version for Windows, there are recurring errors that may pose some risk to the integrity of your data. When an incorrect master password is entered, the application is accessed but the data appears with random characters, something that should not happen, as if the password is incorrect, there should be no access to the application in any way. This is an error that always appears and has not been corrected in the various updates they have pushed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have used Lastpass for my personal use, to store passwords and notes securely without having to memorize each of the account credentials I manage. The software has the ability to store my notes and passwords on a centralized platform, allowing me to access my accounts quickly and without having to re-enter the keys over and over again. Lastpass has helped me manage my notes that I need to keep protected at all times, and at the same time they are accessible on any device I use, without needing to have them stored in plain text on my phone or office since this clearly poses a risk of my information being stolen.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Lastpass is a very comprehensive software for storing any information you want to keep private and out of the reach of prying eyes. My experience with this tool has been very satisfying, as the mere use of the free version is more than enough for my basic needs of storing credentials and notes related to the accounts I use in my daily life. So if you are a regular user and need an application that ensures the protection of your information in one place, then this is a great option for you. It is said that the paid version offers even more functionalities that are worth using if you need them.

Mobile use is sometimes a challenge with mapping to sites, although recently seems to be improving

User-friendly password manager

  • December 08, 2019
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
LastPass helps me organize my business account usernames and passwords in one place while having unique, secure passwords for each account. It is cloud-based, so I love being able to use it on both my phone and desktop. I also love the Secure Notes section, where I can easily insert random text that I need to remember but want to secure. I also appreciate the multi-factor authentication, and the fact that it connects with YubiKey is fantastic. Extra security!
What do you dislike about the product?
The browser extension has a different user-friendliness compared to the mobile version, so sometimes I search everywhere for something (e.g., generating a password). I think the mobile version is more intuitive than the desktop version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
How to keep passwords safe, secure, and all in one place. Not just for me, but also for the people I work with, whose accounts or privileged information I need to store securely (e.g., my boss's credit card information). Admittedly, the setup takes some time, but once you've done that, it's a breeze to access your accounts.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take the time to properly set up your LastPass vault. I would plan several hours for this one day. It's worth it. A good investment of your time.

What do you like best about the product?
LastPass is a new software in the world of technology that is very helpful for managing and storing all passwords and login IDs. With this amazing application, I no longer have to remember all my passwords and login IDs, which were complex before the arrival of this application. Furthermore, I can easily generate multiple passwords through the variety of features and functionalities, which makes my work easier and more comfortable in the long run.
What do you dislike about the product?
For me, this product is a great blessing to save my time and energy on remembering passwords by creating Excel files to keep my passwords in one place and... So for me, there is nothing to worry about with this product, sometimes the operation of this application slows down, but that's not a big problem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This application features fully secure two-factor authentication capabilities, providing security with the availability of thumbprints, Face ID, and much more to access the system. The master password feature of this application allows me to retrieve my passwords even if I have forgotten them or do not have access to all of them. Therefore, this product is very useful for working daily with various applications that require a login ID and password.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
this application is my favorite to help me generate passwords and share unlimited file folders with my colleagues and clients. From my side, it is definitely a recommended product with every single feature to create a quite pleasant environment for your work.

Lastpass saves a lot of time and gives users an additional layer of security.

What do you like best about the product?
It is the greatest lifesaver on this planet. And, no, I'm not joking. I would be so lost without LastPass. They have saved my ass countless times, both online and on mobile. All it needs is my fingerprint and well, that's something I'm totally willing to give them at this moment. The ease of use, the complexity - but the simplicity, the security, the ability to use complex passwords (and stop using the same 2 I've always used)... all of this, it's just an annual expense I don't have to think about and I'm delighted to part with. Its Chrome extension is invaluable and makes accessing websites very easy. It's refreshing to have a helper like LastPass, knowing that if my always busy brain decides to stop working, I have a source of support with them. I regularly clean my vault and that helps reduce potential confusion during login, especially if the site has changed its URL, or if you have changed/updated your login/pass.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest aversion to Lastpass is how the passwords are organized. If you don't select a folder to add the password, Lastpass generates a separate folder. We need the ability to create a new subfolder and rename the password through the Chrome extension.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Customers really like that they can share encrypted passwords. Especially with financial data and bank account logins, it's understandable that people are cautious about giving out their usernames and passwords. Lastpass offers a solution to this problem.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you have to manage passwords, there is no doubt that Lastpass is a viable solution for your team. Especially if you need clients to share confidential information through account logins. Lastpass provides peace of mind for clients and ease of use for our employees.
