Is enable us to integrate data from multiple sources/data sources into a single collective view, thus reducing replication and complexity in managing our data.

A Powerful Tool with Advanced Features but Complex Setup
What do you like best about the product?
It enables users to create a unified data model that can be used by multiple applications and business users without the need to move or copy data. It connect to a wide variety of data sources, including relational databases, NoSQL databases, flat files, and web services. This allows users to easily access and combine data from multiple sources, which can save time and effort when creating data models.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing to dislike, but this tool may be complex to set up and configure, which may require specialized knowledge and skills. Apart from this, this tool is good to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Another benefit of TIBCO Data Virtualization is its support for real-time data integration, which allows users to access and update data in near real-time. This can be especially useful for organizations that need to make quick decisions based on up-to-date data.

What do you like best about the product?
We used Tibco Data Virtualization for creating an API , that will transfer the data from one source to another source or systems. It acts as an middle layer communication center between the source and target.
What do you dislike about the product?
It has few connection components that are free. It should have more connectors for cloud components and that should be free. TIBCO Data Virtualization UI should be improved for better usage of the product. There should be some inbuilt connectors for testing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping as a middle layer to make the data flow easier with a transformed data that's being directly used by the business models for the reporting purposes.

What do you like best about the product?
We able easily data views from the source of data. This help to view data in a tabular or chats so that we can easily analyse the data. It can alos able to collect the data from various sources through protocals as JDBC, Rest and SOAP API.
What do you dislike about the product?
Efficiency and user friendly need to be improved. It also doesnt have feature to export the saved data into excel. we are unable to alter the data as well.

We are using tibco data visualization in our organization to help with clients to visualize the data. we collect data from various sources and analyse the data and store it in data base.

The platform monitors data from all the sources of the organization. It filters out contaminated data that can affect performance and integrate useful data with other architectural tools for planning. TIBCO Data Virtualization creates unified ecosystem for controlling and analyzing data. The WEB UI gives members an opportunity to search data and make personal decisions based on set goals.

The cost of running this platform efficiently is high. The data management capacity has impressed all the teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps all the departments to plan and manage available data in regard to set objectives. It provides comprehensive security to data to enhance effective workflow and block any unauthorized access. We are able to develop data model designs that suits our demands from the Studio Design Tool.

The cost of subscription is very reasonable, and the quality is worth it!

Support was not so reactive in response; sometimes, you have to wait more than one day.

TDV has below best point
1. it allows connecting heterogeneous database platforms.
2. We can make common datamart from heterogeneous database
3. We can provide this common database in the form of a virtual database as well as a web service.
4. we can create a custom adaptor using Java lang
5. less physical code needs to write as drag and drop do most of the work
6. This tool is agile, and flexible to expand for further projects

What I dislike about TDV is the newer version Tibco release is not as stable as the 2 generations back like TDV 8.4 had lots of bugs in web UI. they have launched web UI.

Its solves the problem where data is stored on multiple database systems, TDV helps us to get that data into a uniform manner, while doing this we can restructure, design data and can also do business logic on data
