Great tool, the basic version is free and you own locally the files.
What do you like best about the product?
Intergations with GitHub, availability of the resources. Good freebie for a small company without Manual Testing budget.
What do you dislike about the product?
Github is not flawless, having to close the program is annoying, I'm ok re-login. I'm not ok closing it.

Katalon platform - Test Automation Made Even Simpler
What do you like best about the product?
I was a Selenium user since a long time. While exploring the Katalon features, I found it very easy to use with almost no maintenance effort. Below are few benefits which I have noticed while using Katalan so far.
1. It provides complete ecosystem (Web, API, Mobile, Desktop) for having automation solutions for complex enterprise application.
2. Unlike other automation solutions, with Katalon, we don’t need to integrate multiple other tools for automation.
3. Having codeless feature in place, it makes easy for new comers to start with automation. At the same time it also accommodates teams with mixed skill levels. Even I started exploring this with codeless feature :)
4. With Katalon we design less flaky script as it has build-in smart waits.
5. Minimal setup time and lower maintenance overhead compare to any other automation tool.
6. Seemless integration with CI/CD pileline
7. Free training program are there along with global community which makes it easy to start with Katalon platform & easy of implementation.

What do you dislike about the product?
It has many important benefits compare to any other automation tool available in the market. However, Free versions has limited features, and it’s not free for enterprise uses. So, team find it difficult to switch from other free tool to Katalon. So may be more features can be included in free version for more effective use for small teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Over the time any automation script require a maintenance effort due to change in the application feature or change in the environment and base infrastructure etc. With any other automation tool available, its big efforts actually. With Katalon, I find it easy to maintain and do the changes in less time in case there are update in the application or need to add a new script. And in the era of AI, definitely AI feature like self-healing is something that every project is looking for.

What do you like best about the product?
We transitioned from another product and i was looking for the same functionality but at a more competitive price point. Our previous vendor wanted to charge a lot for a license that could be installed on a server environment this isn't the case with Katalon Studio. I am in charge of all the automated testing activities within my organization within a small web development team
What do you dislike about the product?
i don't like it that i need a runtime license to be able to run scheduled tests when only running small test suites. i would like to be able to just have the option to do this within enterprise even if this was limited to 1 test suite.

Excellent tool for Test Automation
What do you like best about the product?
The user interface of Katalon tool is good to handle. It is very helpful to record the flow using Katalon record and spy options. The self healing feature also makes test script development very speedy.Also its very helpful to integrate with Git Hub.

Some times while spying the object, multiple objects are creating for the same field. Like entering a word, for typing each letter in the field, multiple objects are creating.

By using Katalon, the test script development, execution became faster.
