I am writting about Katalon Advantages and Disadvantages
What do you like best about the product?
I would like using the Katalon studio why because it's uses of more flexible and very easy to understand. In this platform more advantage is record and playback and xpath will automatically picked.
What do you dislike about the product?
Katalon studio disadvantage is sometime Xpath will be chaged or not working , that time will manually chage the Xpath and while recording the script Katalon platform is very slow or hanged.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sometimes self healing is automatically generate in the scripts which click approve button. And also many options there here it is TestOps and API's like this.

limitation of groovy class heirarchy and encapsulation validation logs

Great Tool for beginners in Automation
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of test scenario creation mainly with feature-record-and-playback & easy in manual test case generation, manage test cases efficiently and execute tests across various environments with real-time analytics to simplify testing processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
not much to do with PDF reading, has to rerun script with errors- no debugging. Not sure only my account but always log me out automatically once a day- I guess low performance

saves time if using record and script feature, user-friendly. easy to use, real-time analytics and reporting

it has many features and has a good and easy UI to present them
What do you dislike about the product?
One of the challenges I find with Katalon Platform is that while it's very user-friendly for basic automation, some advanced customizations (like handling dynamic XPaths, complex API chaining, or deeply customized reporting) require more manual effort or scripting than expected. Additionally, test execution can sometimes feel slower compared to lighter frameworks, especially when running large test suites.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Since the input IDs on our website change often, setting stable XPaths was a challenge. Katalon made it much easier for us to handle dynamic elements efficiently.

Katalon Studio Review Based on My 3 Years of Professional Experience
What do you like best about the product?
What I like about Katalon is the ease of use when it comes to automation.
I didn’t find it difficult to follow courses provided by Katalon or tutorials on YouTube. Even though I don’t come from an IT background and have limited coding knowledge, Katalon has been very helpful throughout my three years of work. It also played a big role in helping me transition from a manual tester to an automation tester.

What do you dislike about the product?
What I don’t like about Katalon is the mobile integration.
I’ve found it quite difficult to use Katalon for mobile automation, whether it's for Android or iOS, especially when it's assigned by my supervisor. I’ve faced many challenges working with mobile testing. On top of that, since I’m based in Indonesia, most local tutorials are focused on web automation, not mobile. Even when I do find mobile-related learning resources, I often struggle to follow them.

With automation, I’m definitely helped when it comes to repetitive testing tasks. I don’t need to do a lot of coding—so far, I’ve mostly relied on drag-and-drop features, which makes the process easier. However, there are some features I wish were available in the free version, like the "Start from here" feature, which is unfortunately only included in the Enterprise edition.

Self healing , easy script, less time required to script test case compared to selenium, inbuilt report .

Katalon Studio, TestOps and its capabilities to do cross browser testing

Katalon IDE need to be improved to accomadate latest changes in the technology

Automating complex UI and API test cases and even mobile testing with inbuild capabilities.
