  • May 12, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Intuitiveness, no storing of passwords in plain text in databases, add-on for web browsers ...
What do you dislike about the product?
Inability to manage shared folders within other shared folders (in order to manage a certain granularity of shared access).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creation of random secrets, management and sharing of secrets, secure one-time sharing... This allows maintaining a level of security for the company's passwords without having to remember or store them insecurely, and it also allows for easy and secure sharing.

Keeping Passwords Save and Secure

  • May 12, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Keeper Password Manager is highly secure, using AES-256-bit encryption with a zero-knowledge model to protect our data. It’s user-friendly, works across platforms, and offers features like two-factor authentication, secure file storage, and BreachWatch for monitoring compromised credentials. Ideal for my organisation business use, it provides scalable options like role-based controls.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes there are issues when trying to authenticate on the web portal plugin and the only way to resolve this is a reboot of my OPC
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the problem of managing multiple passwords in our busy IT environment

Security and ease of use

  • May 12, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
How simple it is, for example, to store two-factor keys in the same manager. The ease of sharing passwords
What do you dislike about the product?
The Zero Trust policy is sometimes problematic, for example, when a user leaves who has not accepted the password transfer policy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Above all, sharing passwords among teams. Without software of this type, it becomes a terrible task.

Feature-rich password management tool, reliable and great value

  • May 12, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to introduce and integrate into our system, offering good managegement and integration for companies, fair pricing and a full feature suite for password- and key-management.
Easily introducable to users thanks to well-managed integration of Import-Feature and ease of use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our interactions with resellers weren't as efficient as we could wish for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had a lot of users and passwords floating around our environment. We want to centrally manage their password- and keystores so that we don't run into issues should someone exit or forget their own data.
Their SOO integration helped a lot as well.

One of the best password managers on the market

  • May 12, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
- Folder management
- Enterprise user management. Gives the best control over management of employee movement out of any password manager I have tested
- Audit capabilities are extremely detailed and can easily be sent to an external SIEM/logging service via logging integration
- External sharing is extremely useful as a secure way of sharing temp passwords and other secrets with external users
- Free family subscription for business users is a huge plus
- SSO implementation and provisioning is easy to set up
What do you dislike about the product?
- PAM/remote access requires a gateway, there's no agent based solution which can make architecture difficult/messy depending on the environment and network access controls in place. Also means an additional dedicated box required to run yet another piece of software, rather than just deploying a package via SCCM or similar
- You can't move an existing, non-shared folder structure into a new/existing shared folder. Each record must be moved individually and the folder structure re-created inside the shared folder. This can be time consuming if you didn't use a shared folder to begin with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeper allows us to easily manage all company secrets in one place, automatically rotate secrets easily, remotely access servers securely - removing the need for legacy solutions like VPN's, and guarantees that we always have control over who can access what

Great Option for Business AND Home Use

  • May 12, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Keeper is easy to use out of the box, and easy to configure options when using a business or enterprise account. The free "Family Account" for users while they are part of a business account is a great incentive to get people to treat all their passwords securely and the numerous browser plugins / mobile app allows for pre-fill of passwords so they are essentially set and forget.

A number of additional configuration options have been added in the 3 years we have been a business customer, which have made security around sharing passwords even better. The support team have always been helpful when required.

Usage reporting in the administration console is very helpful to understand who is using the platform, and how, as well as consolidated reporting on weak / potentially compromised passwords.

In all after using Keeper for Business and home use for the past 7 years, I'm happy with what it brings to the table.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately you cannot manage common business administration tasks like password resets due to Keeper's security approach. This can be negated by configuring SSO if your plan allows for it, however this, too, is somewhat of a cumbersome configuration compared to many other applications but well worth the security it provides.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Secure password storage for individuals, centralised password management for shared accounts and the ability to create one-time shared links for third parties when providing things like API keys, etc. that should be transferred securely.

Keeper works well for our Mid Size Enterprise

  • April 08, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's pretty easy to use, adoption is not that difficult and once the light goes on for people and they get it, and stop using spreadsheets, they like it and more importantly they use it. Also, any employee with a license also gets a separate home use license.
I also like the way we can share passwords among the team, store MFA tokens in keeper instead of tying them to one persons phone.
What do you dislike about the product?
A minor issue, but the keeper icon that appears in password boxes on web pages covers the little eye icon to see the password. It's mildly annoying. You can still tab and get to that icon, but really they should move it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Securely storing and sharing passwords and MFA tokens

Efficient credential management enhances security and productivity

  • March 17, 2025
  • Review provided by PeerSpot

What is our primary use case?

I used Keeper primarily for password and credential management. It was used on my team of about one hundred people. The solution helped in managing credentials efficiently and securely.

What is most valuable?

Credential management was a significant advantage of Keeper. The ability to share credentials easily and securely was a big improvement. Previously, sharing passwords and credentials through email and teams was a problem. It resulted in notable productivity gains and increased security. We also used Keeper to block or handle non-standard sites that were not allowed, enhancing our control.

What needs improvement?

There is no improvement needed. Everything was good, and it was perfect for my needs.

For how long have I used the solution?

I worked with Keeper until about September last year, which is almost six to seven months since I stopped using it.

How are customer service and support?

I contacted Keeper support a couple of times. It was perfect, and I had no reason to complain.

How would you rate customer service and support?

Positive

How was the initial setup?

The initial setup took about a week or so, but once that was done, extending it took less than a couple of hours. Despite some initial back and forth, the setup process was fairly easy overall.

What was our ROI?

Use of Keeper was worth the money. From a pricing perspective, although it was more expensive than the competition, the price-performance ratio was perfect for our business needs.

What's my experience with pricing, setup cost, and licensing?

The solution was more expensive than the competition, but considering our business needs, it was perfectly aligned with the price-performance aspect.

What other advice do I have?

For my use case, Keeper was a perfect nine.

If public cloud, private cloud, or hybrid cloud, which cloud provider do you use?
