The best solution, so far, for a very complex task
What do you like best about the product?
For the most part, this is the best password manager I have found, so far, on Windows. The software does a good job of syncing between browsers (assuming you use the browser extensions) and of keeping its 'vault' up-to-date. The password generator is strong and a good alternative to OS generators (as I used to have when using the Mac) or online web-based generators. Overall, having used 3 of the other 'top' contenders, I have found Keeper to be the easiest to use, with a high security level, and generally solid UI and UX. I also like the fact that I have some control over the number of PBKDF2 iterations used when logging in, the fact that I can use a USB-based security key, and that I can use 2-Factor authentication.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest problem I've run into, and this is not universal, but is dependent upon individual web pages or applications, is that the auto-fill mechanism sometimes gets in the way of the password entry, causing the login to fail. Every so often, with certain sites, I need to disable the extension/turn off autofill, in order to login successfully. Autofill also can cause problems when you maintain multiple accounts on the same site (I do this because I manage a non-profit website, as well as my own personal sites and so have separate Facebook accounts, GMail accounts, etc.). While Keeper does a good job of maintaining those different versions of my logins, autofill sometimes wants to use the wrong account info by default. Features I would like to see are 1) automatically turn off the browser password save prompt when using Keeper, 2) merge/update or notify with a 'collision' report when there are multiple accounts using the same username but different passwords in the Vault, 3) one-click toggle from toolbar icon to temporarily turn off autofill. Re: #2 above, the software does have a very handy duplicates finder and remover feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeper has really helped me upgrade my security by making it easy for me to create and use secure passwords. The percentage of passwords I now have that are unique and very difficult is much higher than ever before. Still, I like the level of recoverability I have with Keeper, which is certainly a tradeoff in some ways, but when I used another popular locker, I was forever losing access through no fault of my own. Corruption of the data on the vendor side was a serious drawback. I have had no such problem with Keeper.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
By all means, try out others like Blur, LastPass, 1Password, Dashlane and run your own tests. Be careful to do this before putting too much of your data into one of the systems, as you then become implicitly locked in until something goes wrong. And then it's a mess. Also, try them cross-device to make sure they meet your needs.
Convenient for both smartphone and desktop
What do you like best about the product?
I use the Keeper on my cell phone and desktop daily to retrieve and manage passwords, personal information because the Keeper is able to sync data across devices seamlessly. It is simple to use and versatile to organize the data - I mean the folders.
What do you dislike about the product?
Loading speed on a cell phone is not fast enough. Most of the time I first see the blue smiley face that asks adding new records. It looks crepy and most of the time it is not the reason I open it for. Please directly go to the record view(folder view).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mostly store passwords for all kinds of accounts. Also some personal data/records for references. It is easy to search which makes many daily chores much easier.
No more trying to recover accounts
What do you like best about the product?
Its multi-device functionality. I have it on my computer with the extension and on my phone. I can easily login to any website with keeper autofill in the computer. on the iPhone its even better. You get prompted by a password and on the keyboard you get a password prompt that opens keeper and allows you to select the password and fill it.
What do you dislike about the product?
That it keeps promoting me to add more services. It gets annoying.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can use safe passwords everywhere!! I don't have to worry about remembering a difficult password (with symbols, uppercase, lowercase numbers). I love it!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It meets all the criteria you are searching for: safe, easy, compatible
Best Password App there is
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to create and edit entries and great way to organize passwords into folders. I recommend Keeper to all of my business and family connections.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is costly to get the upgrade but I have the upgrade for easy of use across all of my devices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
No problems. It keeps me organized, where I do not have to keep multiple pieces of paper of passwords all over. Each device has Keeper on it so I can reference wherever I am.
