One of the best product I've worked with!
What do you like best about the product?
its powerfulness, especially in terms of scripting, and the ratio stability/feature! also the robustness of its upgrades, and the confidence I've had in doing them!
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the users have found the GUI to be complicated at first. Yet it's not something I've experienced personnally, except for finding some unusual features from time to time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Two major things : Adding a line of défense quick and efficient using DNS, and maintaining our ipam database. using API, we also trigger signals to add block lists to our firewalls. also, the possibility in automating the provisioning of IP addresses and DNS entries for some of our cloud infrastructures. last but not least, just everything that can be done using the product can be done using scripting! that adds even more possibilities to the product!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
check out the network insight boxes to ease the management of your switches! and don't forget reporting, which starts as a free appliance!

Automatic blocking also detection. The best part to monitor and block the Internet and Intranet. User-friendly ease to understand and ability to give KT to a newer one.

It doesn't have any dislike option. I am satisfied with the solution.

GUI has a single point of ability.

It was simply easy to deploy and simple to integrate fast and it made our infrastructure managable and easy to understand

Ipam does not work properly. It does not really discover all devices on the network

The best part it is the user interface and I would say it is one of the best one in universe.
I used other tools like run ip and many other which I was not satisfied but after using this bolxone or infoblox i am suggesting all my college to try it.

As of now there is no such thing that I dislike.

I used to pull reports of infoblox and performing few MACD requests.
I deal with 3 organizations and 2 of them use this infoblox and other use QIP.
Infoblox is far far far far better then all others.

What do you like best about the product?
I like automatic DNS Firewall blocking, detecting domains, suspicious IP addresses, malware and malicious software on the Internet. I block any suspicious application or access, internal or external on the network.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have time using DNS Firewall, I have no problems.

I have control of all the applications that go in and out through the Firewall, block attacks and suspicious domains.

All this service works well for my needs, I have no problems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I block and limit the connection of all my devices on the network to known connections that contain malware, IPv4 and IPv6 address blocking.
