Direct integrations for DORA and deeper insights finally
What do you like best about the product?
Love that there is finally a product that does DORA with direct CI/CD integrations - was so easy to setup and get deeper insights into DevOps performance. Only having top level metrics for DORA has been an issue we faced wiith their products and inaccuracy since they depended on only JIRA data. But with deeper and more accurate insights with Hatica we have been able to make DORA metrics useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that their email reports are lacking. I cannot get charts in my email, it only sends metric values. I cannot edit schedule to send it to me on Friday. Only option to send is on Mondays.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have tried other products in the similar space for tracking DORA metrics. But only with Hatica we were able to get deeper and more accurate insights, which was vital to us.

Hatica analytics
What do you like best about the product?
the different type of plotted data easy to read and very intuitive
What do you dislike about the product?
auto fill for updates can be added as a ux experience
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
unified data for the team, collective graphs , commit and PR data all at one place making it simple
Simple and powerful tool for PMs and EMs
What do you like best about the product?
All dashboards and metrics come with explanations of what they are and how they are useful. We are using their Sprint health and project delivery dashboards which are super useful to track progress and run retros and identify bottlenecks. We are able to plan better and improve delivery speed with metrics like planning accuracy, effort allocation based on features v/s bugs and lead time. Their wellbeing metrics look interesting from the preview but looks like it is not included in our plan or something.
What do you dislike about the product?
They’re going through a UI refresh, so lots of things are changing which can be frustrating at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Identifying bottlenecks across the software development lifecycle has been a challenging task. There are multiple developers, Team Leads reporting into EMs and the structure replicates across projects. It has been difficult for us to pin point with precision that what exactly is causing the delay in delivering a project. But ever since we started using Hatica, we are able to identify the bottlenecks easily, fix it and ship faster.
Big help to run agile sprints better and plan better.
What do you like best about the product?
Hatica has helped us identify the tasks where the most time is spent. This helped us do retros better and by extension, plan the next sprints better. This combined with a dedicated dashboard for sprint performance to conduct retros helped us identify where our team was falling short in a very precise manner. Investment allocation feature is another dashboard that’s coming in very handy to identify where investment is actually being used vs where we prefer it being allocated to.
What do you dislike about the product?
They are going through a UI refresh, so many things are changing and some UX anti-patterns have crept in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sprint Planning as well as retro analysis has been a nightmare. We ended up with more tech-debt than before, didn’t arrive at concrete actionable and line items for next sprint. The prime reason being lack of a visibility platform that could draw all these vividly in front of us. We were moving too slowly with projects. With Hatica, we have been able to address these issues and catch with the delivery timelines.
Amazing product
What do you like best about the product?
Resource allocation reports are amazing, did not know that such a tool existed. It is immensely valuable to understand where teams are spending their effort and if it aligns with our objectives. More interesting reports are there to explore in months to come.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some metrics like PR volume and coding days don’t seem useful and there is no option to remove them from my report.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Liked the tool very much as it helps us identify the bottlenecks in the SDLC, resolve issues faster, deliver projects faster, and so on…
A good git analytics tool
What do you like best about the product?
We have used their git analytics dashboards and are very happy with it. They seem to have all the important metrics like cycle time, commit size and volume, code churn code review load etc..
What do you dislike about the product?
Azure DevOps boards support is not complete and some some metrics show N/A for them
UPDATE: Issues around Azure DevOps boards are now resolved.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We mainly use thier git analytics dashboard. It is a very good experience.
Fully featured analytics for Dev teams
What do you like best about the product?
Having visibility into who’s getting blocked in their PRs is crucial for us. This combined with productivity metrics like code churn gave us the insights that we never knew we needed. Combined with Project metrics around planning accuracy helped us plan better and saw a big dip in spill over tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
They cover the most used tools, but Azure DevOps boards are still WIP.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Planning accuracy improved. As a result, can see a huge dip in spillover tasks.
Easy to use but requires more flexibility to filter data.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and configure. The interface is very friendly, and the four key metrics is an industry-standard. It was never that easy to get metrics from GitHub to understand hoe our productivity can be improved.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few things missing:
* There is not much flexibility to see DORA metrics. I can only see them for the repository, but not for a specific team. This seems to be very good when we work with microservices where each team "owns" one or more specific services, but when we work with monoliths or monorepos it gets hard. Modular monoliths have been increasing in popularity, but we can't have metrics by teams using this approach.
* It lacks some stuff like ignoring weekends on dev cycle time, understanding that a PR is opened as a draft, and other things like this.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem of measuring productivity. Usually we need to gather data from Github and JIRA (or whatever other tools teams use) and consolidate them. With Hatica this is much easier now.
Opens up a world for Engg Performance Visibility at one place with the right integrations
What do you like best about the product?
Central place to hold all the information. Ability to aggregate across multiple dimensions and slices
What do you dislike about the product?
Requires some integration efforts to figure out team-compositions. Dashboard pages sometimes are slow when lots of information is crunched
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Single source of tracking how the engineering org is performing & maintaining consistency or not. Bubble up trends that need to be addressed
Data-driven Sprint Retros and project wise metrics help us plan better and faster
What do you like best about the product?
We wanted a solution that would show statistics on our projects and how we performed sprint over sprint. This was a simple easy to understand dashboard from Hatica called project overview dashboard and we started seeing where we fell short in project planning and accuracy.
We also took a big liking to the sprint retro dashboard which our managers use extensively to do retros backed up by actual work activity data and this helped us plan better for the next sprint.
Insights from these two dashboards helped us get better every sprint over the past 8+ sprints.

What do you dislike about the product?
UI improvements need to be made because the project overview dashboard is only functional, not presentable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Project and Sprint Planning was inefficient before, and they've gotten better.
Sprint Retros are now data-driven and we know what didn't work.
