I primarily use the free app version of 1Password to manage a variety of personal and work PW's

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy how easy it is for me to store and reference my passwords from my phone. Additionally, it's very simple to store passwords directly from an app or webpage with little interruption to my workflow. Having the one master password makes everything feel secure, but easily accessible. Having a section for favorites is also a great feature. Although I have not yet used the create a password feature I do plan on using it in the future. I
What do you dislike about the product?
To be honest there's not much I dislike. The app was recommended to me by one of our IT guys a little over a a year ago and I've been using it ever since. I do wish that the custom organization was available in the Free version of the app, but I understand why it's not.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I do a lot of work in a variety of sandboxes that are all similar enough that with the passwords are constantly being changed it can get very confusing. This app allows me to keep a handle on all of my logins and not waste as much time resetting passwords over and over again.

What do you like best about the product?
- good UX and UI
- sync via protected archive on Dropbox works like a charm
- good integration with iOS
- passwords generator for any complexity requirements
- secure browser extension
- stores credit cards, passports and other private information
What do you dislike about the product?
Issues with 1password browser extension on Chrome happened some times. It needs to find out how 1password browser extensions and 1password mini (helper in tray) works together.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm storing my passwords, logins, cards in this app. I'm using it on all my devices, generating passwords and i will never forget any password I created.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great app for mac and iOS users. Wonderfull design and abilities.

1Password Review

What do you like best about the product?
1Password offers a good solution in allowing you to memorize just 1 master password that then allows you access to all of your secure sites. One thing that I've liked was the ability to have the service warn me about websites that are vulnerable to various security bugs that are known to wreak havoc on identity and security. That being said, there are some things that are missing from 1Password that competitors offer. One thing which I refer to as double verification is absent from 1Password.

Competitor products allow for a multi-level authentication where a temporary code is sent to me via email or text message that I must enter into the application before 1Password allows access. This reduces the chances that hackers and the like are able to exploit security lapses. I've only used the iOS version of the software, but I know it supports others.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reason that I only used it for a short period of time was because of the monthly cost. I think the cost associated with the software is too high, and other options are available for free or a lower cost. But to each their own.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have only used 1Password for about a month. I'll explain shortly why my time with the software was minimal. The software does what you'd imagine; log into secure sites with just a click using your login credentials that you've stored. What the software does is allows the user to generate a password in which you control how strong it is. It's very difficult to remember so many passwords for the many many sites in which require login credentials.

    Computer Software

An essential tool to store sensitive informations

What do you like best about the product?
The syncronization among all the devices is a killer feature that enables seamless sharing across all the devices that one might use.
What do you dislike about the product?
the fact that there's no sync between two computers without using an external cloud provider may be less than ideal for some user (i definitely prefer to use the no-server setup where one computer acts as the sync master on a local network)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
having my passwords and user data all in one place, protected by a single very long secret
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you have more than one computer you'll have to use an external cloud service to sync the data.

    Computer Software

Great for personal users

What do you like best about the product?
Simple to use. The browser extension is awesome, and is pretty good at most sites.

Being able to sync and maintain passwords across multiple devices is awesome. Being able to set passwords of reasonable length (not limited by what my limited memory can contain) for hundreds of passwords is a must.
What do you dislike about the product?
That it doesn't always get the entry right on all sites. And trying to get the timeout before I need to reauthorize my 1password account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem is always the same: Maintaining access to many accounts with decent security. Duplicating passwords is reckless for us and our customers.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just get it or a similar product. You won't regret it.

Security of your suppliers and your customers resources is not something you can leave to chance.

Easy password management

  • March 21, 2016
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Fast & secure password manager. Straightforward user interface that integrates with all browsers and a convenient iOS app to fill in passwords on mobile Safari. Sync with Dropbox or using their new Families/Teams service.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some odd security decisions. No two-factor authentication for 1Password itself, though it supports two-factor for external accounts.

Browser integration is good, but has a few odd form-fill issues especially if a sign-up form is near the login form.

Sharing account details / vaults is cumbersome, but I have not tried the Family or Team service.

Definitely one of the most expensive password managers as a one-time purchase. The family & team services make it a monthly cost that includes all of the apps, though it's still quite expensive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Safely storing account details.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're within the Apple ecosystem, then 1Password is the best password manager. Android & Windows apps are relatively new for 1Password, so may not offer as good of an experience.

Easy to use, secure way to hold all my passwords and logins, makes life a lot easier

  • March 17, 2016
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Its great interaction with browsers on Mac and windows, allowing for automatic password entry. It also links with some apps on IOS for password entry. Syncing the password DB to iCloud or Dropbox makes it very easy to edit passwords on either IOS or desktop.

Adding the app to Apple Watch also allows me to use 2-factor passwords on my wrist..
What do you dislike about the product?
There isnt much i dont like about 1Password.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With the ever growing list of server logins and website logins needed within my working day, 1Password has made this a lot easier, mutiple vaults can be setup for Personal and Work passwords
Recommendations to others considering the product:
1Password has made things a lot easier, only having to remember 1 password, or just providing your finger print on IOS, alllows you to create complex passwords without having to remember them
