Streamlined Compliance with External Expertise
What do you like best about the product?
I like that the platform works smoothly and the collaboration with a dedicated consultant is now working efficiently. Scytale saves a lot of time by having an external consultant help with compliance.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform has some bugs, but nothing major. The instructions could be even more simple. They were a bit hard to understand as a non-compliance expert and I needed to ask for help from our consultant to explain those in a simpler way.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scytale makes the compliance process for ISO 27001 less time-consuming and admin-heavy. It works smoothly and allows efficient collaboration with a dedicated consultant, saving a lot of time.
Streamlined SOC 2 Compliance with Room for Improved Integration
What do you like best about the product?
I like the division of proofs into clearly labeled tasks in Scytale, which helps in managing SOC 2 requirements better. It allows us to break down tasks and allocate them to our team easily. I also appreciate being able to reference proofs from previous audits by task, which is especially helpful when there's uncertainty about what proof is needed, and when different people are filling out proofs over the years.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that I can only interface with it via the web platform. I use Slack, and I would like to get updates there when a task is assigned to me or a reviewer left a comment on proof I submitted.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Scytale for our SOC 2 compliance. It helps manage required proofs and ensures submissions are sufficient. Scytale's task division and ability to reference past audits streamline the process, which is particularly useful for team collaboration.

What do you like best about the product?
I liked using Scytale platform. It helped me advance our security processes with an easy to use interface. It helped me a lot to have a dedicated advisor to take me through the processes step by step and helped resolve issues on our way to become compliant.

Great communication, easy to use, great that we have a dedicate consultant to take us through the audit process and gave us the support we needed to complete the audit successfully

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the ease of management and the ability to gain control over compliance. The platform offers many integrations, which make collecting evidence straightforward. Onboarding was quick, and the system is user-friendly. Scytale also has highly competent personnel who were important in helping us achieve our goals.

I have nothing to point my finger at. Nothing to dislike.

Scytale assisted us in achieving ISO27001 certification. Now, we have complete control over our risks and vendor policies, all within a single, easy-to-use management system.

One area that could be improved is the speed of certain processes when handling large volumes of evidence. Occasionally, the platform feels a bit slow during bulk uploads or when switching between multiple frameworks. Enhancing performance in these scenarios would make the experience even smoother

Sometimes multiple controls can be affected by approving one control which can be frusterating.

By centralizing evidence collection and monitoring, it reduces the risk of errors and saves our team countless hours. Outstanding Platform and Exceptional Customer Success
What do you like best about the product?
There are two aspects of Scytale that worked well for us: the platform and our customer success manager, Ashleigh Du Preez. It was easy to use, which is especially important since my team and I were in the system on an almost daily basis during our initial audit period.
What do you dislike about the product?
The need for multiple screenshots, although this is not unique to Scytale but rather is a characteristic of many GRC platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scytale is a GRC vendor that promises to cut stress and time as it relates to securing security compliance and certifications such as SOC 2 Type 2 and HIPAA. The ability to complete these certifications in a timely manner is important for my company's business, i.e., to land new customers and retain existing ones.
