What do you dislike about the product?

Nothing comes to mind. The UI might still need a bit of polishing, but that is expected for a company this young.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Scytale helped us guide through PCI compliance checklists, organize and submit all the required evidence

The support I received while completing the process was very good.

What do you dislike about the product?

Some areas of the product could be better automated. The flow of data between policies and controls is sometimes not intuitive, which can make it harder to understand how everything connects.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

We needed to get our SOC 2, and the software and framework Scytale built—together with their great customer support—made the process relatively smooth.

What do you like best about the product?

It's really convenient that the required templates are provided, that we can see the progress status and that there is someone like Dor guiding us through every step of the process

What do you dislike about the product?

It took a little time to figure out how to properly navigate between the different pages and what each one displays. There are pages nested within pages that you have to go through to find what you're looking for, but once you understand where everything is, using the system becomes much easier

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

They made the whole audit management process much easier for me by breaking it down into explicit tasks of exactly what needs to be done to deliver everything correctly. It really helps that things are visual and that we can see our progress

What do you like best about the product?

Scytale made our SOC 2 and ISO 27001 certifications remarkably smooth and professional. They handled the heavy lifting and kept disruption to our business at an absolute minimum. Special thanks to Dor Rosenberg, who guided us through the entire process for both certifications, always responsive, knowledgeable, and proactive. The platform and the team turned what could have been a stressful compliance effort into a clear, well-organized journey.

What do you dislike about the product?

Honestly very little to complain about. Early on there was a lot of material to take in, so a bit of a learning curve getting familiar with the platform, but Dor and the team made that easy. A few more self-serve guides could help, but nothing that affected the outcome.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Scytale is helping us achieve and maintain SOC 2 and ISO 27001 compliance without pulling our team away from core business work. It centralizes evidence collection, controls, and audit readiness in one place, so we always know where we stand. The biggest benefit is speed and clarity: we reached both certifications faster and with far less internal overhead than expected, while staying confident that nothing was missed.

What do you like best about the product?

What I like best about Scytale is that it made the process feel much more structured and manageable.
The UI is clean and easy to navigate, and the task breakdown, evidence collection, and progress tracking made this practical and simple workflow.

What do you dislike about the product?

What I dislike most is that the review cycle for certain tasks could be more complete. For example, reviewers can add notes or comments, but the task status, ownership, or assignment does not always change clearly based on that feedback.
Some open items can be harder to track directly in the system, especially when trying to understand what still needs action and who owns the next step. We were able to manage this through follow-up meetings, but it would be helpful if the flow was supported better in the system.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Scytale helped us manage our first SOC 2 process from a place where we would not have known where to begin. It gave us a clear structure, broke the process into manageable steps, and helped us understand what was required from us at any given time.
It saved us a ton of time. Instead of trying to figure everything out on our own, we had a guided process, clear tasks, and support along the way.

What do you like best about the product?

It is super friendly to use compared to other complaint platforms I have used previously. The onboarding went super quick and the staff are very helpful and very quick to respond. The fact that the platform integrates with our software helps a ton to minimise the amount of admin that it will require from our side to get and stay compliant. In terms of the compliance process, it is super quick. What almost took me a year to achieve with another compliance company took literal weeks to achieve working with Scytale.

What do you dislike about the product?

At the moment, I have not found anything that I do not like about the platform or the service.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

They are helping us to become ISO27001, GDPR and POPIA compliant with minimal effort.

What do you like best about the product?

The real value is in the consultants that guide you through the compliance process and can answer your specific questions.

What do you dislike about the product?

I would have expected a more technology and self-service based approach. Their tooling covers the necessary aspects of the workflow but is relatively basic.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Scytale helped us assess our compliance footprint, fill gaps, and formalize the documentation, so that we now have the relevant compliance seals.

What do you like best about the product?

Working through the tasks in a structured way guided by good advisors.

What do you dislike about the product?

It a some points feels incomplete. You have to host some documents on you own etc. I think if it just would include some simple cloud storage or confluence like document management it would be 10/10. But feels bad to have like 80% information in Scytale and then 20% in some local or shared folders somewhere else.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Getting it done.

What do you like best about the product?

We use Scytale for SOC 2 compliance and penetration testing. Their personalized support is absolutely incredible, it's what stood out the most. The platform also offers a great set of well-built policy templates and high-quality automated evidence collection through integrations. It has made our entire audit process much smoother. Highly recommend.

What do you dislike about the product?

Very little to dislike. The only minor gap is that some integrations for specific tools we use aren't available yet. Nothing serious. I just would have liked a bit more coverage on the integrations side.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Scytale has made our SOC 2 compliance process far less overwhelming. Before, tracking controls and gathering evidence was time-consuming and manual. Now, the automated evidence collection through integrations and the ready-made policy templates handle a huge part of the work for us. This has saved us significant time and effort, letting our team focus on actual security work instead of administrative tasks. The pen testing support has also helped us identify and close security gaps, strengthening our overall security posture.

What do you like best about the product?

The platform made the whole ISO 27001 process manageable. Evidence collection and control mapping are straightforward, and having the auditor communication built in saved a lot of back-and-forth. Shoutout to our GRC managers, Marené and Ashleigh, for the support throughout.

What do you dislike about the product?

Bulk file upload could be smoother, and clearer guidance on what evidence each control needs would help. Minor things overall, didn't slow us down much.

Scytale kept everything in one place, evidence, controls, and auditor feedback, instead of scattered across emails and folders.
