What do you like best about the product?

If you have AWS than it would be more powerful, I guess, but we have all done by ourselves and host it on a local hoster. This requires a lot of changes in the collection of evidence and completion of controls. Dian Strydom is most helpful with all the steps to be taken. He guides me through everything and helps me out with templates to complete the controls.

The GUI is easy to understand and helps a lot in having an oversight what to do and where I am.

What do you dislike about the product?

Nothing, it is very helpful for me, it even suggests what can be certified with all the answers from my current certification, which is very good. It helps me telling my board of directors, what to aim next.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Getting ready for ISO27001 and SOC2 is a marathon, and for a small company as ours, it would be impossible without scytale.

What do you like best about the product?

Scytale was the only provider with a native integration to Hetzner, which made collecting evidence from our primary cloud provider much less onerous than a manual process. They were very attentive during onboarding and provided recommendations to 3rd party services that would be essential to a successful SOC2 audit pass.

What do you dislike about the product?

This review is written during the engagement, so the only issue I have run into at this stage is about setting up the Github integration, which has a pending support ticket to rectify.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Scytale is helping Insygna become SOC2 certified which is essential to our success in the market.

What do you like best about the product?

I like that Scytale provides structure and support to set up and get ready for the Auditors during the ISO 27001 certification process. It's a structured tool with templates for getting started, and I appreciate the help and support for solving issues as we encounter them. The initial setup of Scytale was relatively easy, which made things smoother.

What do you dislike about the product?

Integrations, missing some tools/services. Link between the integrations in such a way that one do not need to rely on Spreadsheets for collecting data.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Scytale provides a structured tool and templates for setting up ISO 27001 certification. It supports and prepares us for auditors while offering help and solving issues as they arise.

What do you like best about the product?

I appreciate Scytale's easy-to-use platform, which comes with access to policy templates that have been super helpful. The consultants provided for our frameworks, Dian for ISO 27001 and Rachel for POPIA, have been super helpful in streamlining our compliance journey. I also like that the people at Scytale are very responsive and eager to assist. The platform itself is visually appealing and easy to grasp.

What do you dislike about the product?

Perhaps some sort of document history when it comes to policies. Once a change is made, although it shows version control with the number at the top, there does not seem to be a way to actually rollback to a previous version.

Scytale supports ISO 27001 and POPIA compliance with an easy-to-use platform, policy templates, and helpful consultants, streamlining our compliance journey.

What do you like best about the product?

Scytale has dramatically streamlined our compliance work, especially the evidence collection that audits require. The platform comes with a wide range of relevant integrations, which automated away a lot of the boilerplate and manual effort we'd otherwise be stuck doing ourselves. When we ran into issues with specific integrations, their support was highly responsive and available.
One thing that made a real difference was how much they helped us separate the essential from the noise — knowing what actually mattered for the audit versus what we could safely set aside saved us a huge amount of time and second-guessing.
The biggest standout, though, was the hands-on implementation support. We had a dedicated specialist guiding us through the entire process, and honestly we wouldn't have reached the finish line without the direction and verification they provided in our weekly check-ins. Special shout-out to Lןטש, who was absolutely amazing throughout.

What do you dislike about the product?

Nothing significant so far. The integration setup occasionally needed support involvement, but the team was always quick to help resolve it.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Scytale handles the heavy lifting of compliance evidence collection and removes a large amount of repetitive, manual boilerplate from our plate. Just as importantly, it helped us prioritize - separating what genuinely mattered for the audit from what didn't. The combination of automation, broad integrations, and dedicated implementation guidance let us complete the process efficiently, something that would have been far slower and far more painful to do on our own.

What do you like best about the product?

What I like best about Scytale is that the process feels very structured and practical. The platform helps us understand exactly what needs to be done, track the open items clearly, and move step by step toward compliance without getting lost.

I also really appreciate the support from Liya as our consultant. She has been responsive, clear, and helpful in guiding us through the process, explaining what is needed, and keeping things moving in a professional but friendly way.

I love how Scytale simplified a complex compliance process for us. It was incredibly helpful in streamlining company workflows and organizing evidence collection for managing our ISO and SOC2 certification process. I also found the ability to track controls and collaborate directly with auditors invaluable. The seamless and fast integrations without any complex configurations were a big plus.

I use Scytale to manage our ISO and SOC2 certification, streamlining workflows, reducing manual work, and improving audit prep with better visibility into compliance progress and gaps.

What do you like best about the product?

Scytale point of contact: Dor, our POC for the entire process was great. Available, reliable, helpful through out the entire process, felt part of our team and helped us succeed.
Platform: while it has some bugs / issues, having an "all in one" platform, with updating statuses and automatic data collection from integrations was convenient.

What do you dislike about the product?

Platform has some bugs and issues:
- Downtime
- Same comments linked to all controls in the criteria
- AI evidence validation feature not working as expected yet

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

This is the first time we undergo SOC2, so I do not have a comparison.

What do you like best about the product?

Scytale helped us understand all the requirements and controls for SOC 2. We worked with Kamran Naicker, who was truly incredible - extremely helpful and communicative throughout the process. He was always willing to jump on a quick call and help me out whenever I got stuck or had a question.

What do you dislike about the product?

There’s nothing I didn’t like about Scytale.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Scytale is helping us with our Soc 2 compliance.

What do you like best about the product?

The audit support is excellent. Scytale has a great team that guides you through the process and genuinely helps you manage the trickier parts of the audit itself, which makes it much easier to stay focused on the ISMS.

What do you dislike about the product?

Some of the automated integrations can feel a bit rough occasionally, but this is a minor distraction.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

It helps to keep the ISMS on track. Automated evidence monitoring is good both for the audits themselves, and to help monitor compliance in near real time.
