We reviewed a lot of other alternatives and nothing compared to Scytale.
Like any other platform bugs are part of the process but whenever they occurred, they were addressed and solved by the team.

Scytale has been incredibly helpful in simplifying the complexity of the SOC II certification process for us. Their platform allowed us to manage everything in one place—policies, controls, tasks, vendors, and people—so nothing fell through the cracks. This centralization significantly reduced the cognitive overload of juggling multiple tools and documents. They also managed the entire process efficiently, keeping us on track and ensuring we were always moving forward. Kyle, who worked closely with us, guided us through the SOC II requirements step by step, making what initially felt overwhelming much more manageable. Overall, Scytale has made the compliance journey smoother and far less stressful for our team.

I had an excellent experience working with Scytale's professional CSM team. They guided us seamlessly through migrating our manual compliance processes to the Scytale automated platform. Several areas remain where automation can significantly reduce time and effort, and incorporating these capabilities into the platform would provide substantial value.

When i start to review our ISO certification strategy, we comparé various options ans choose scytale mainly for their différent approach, support and simplicity ofbthe tools

Within a couple of week, we are now confident that WE will getbour certification soon and have finalized all policiers ans évidence needed which would have take month without thé guidance of scytale team

A few bug on intégration with jira but the team is réactive and fix them in a few weeks.

CJ has been fantastic to work with and the platform on which they use for their SOC 2 monitoring has been a blessing for making sure we tick all the boxes.

What do you dislike about the product?

Nothing so far, they have been great. Maybe a suggestion of creating a roadmap and laying out a path to get SCO 2 completed. Example: week 1 should be XYZ task, WEEK 2, etc... to break it into more managable chunks and keep things moving.

We are applying for SOC2 and they are helping organize this for us.

Scytale web app is relatively easy to use and track progress on any compliance process. The number of integrations is decent, and allows you to avoid taking manual screenshots in many cases.
Implementation was pretty easy and mainly required us integrating with our tech stack.

Regarding the app, there are a few missing features which I assume they are going to create in the future:
- I can't tell which evidance is covered by which integration
- There's no link to github from each PR
