What do you like best about the product?
I love how Scytale combines the ability to gather and integrate information, streamlining the process of evidence collection for SOC two certification. The platforms provide the crucial function of integrating data, making the evidence collection process much easier and automatic. The added benefit of working with a consultant hand-in-hand on a weekly basis makes the experience even more valuable, simplifying the review and certification journey significantly. I also appreciate the risk assessment module, which automates the tedious tasks involved in risk assessment, making the process seamless and efficient. This feature saves me hours of work, especially when I have to present risk details to management confidently. Additionally, the initial setup of Scytale was incredibly easy thanks to its excellent documentation. The detailed guidance allows me to integrate applications smoothly, offering a well-documented process that leaves little room for error. My high level of satisfaction is reflected in my willingness to recommend Scytale to other clients and also use it for compliance checks like ISO twenty-seven thousand one.
What do you dislike about the product?
I experienced some challenges with Scytale's integrations. There were specific integrations that did not function as expected, which seemed to require bug fixes. These issues were not extensive but did cause some disruptions. Since this is one of my first experiences preparing an organization for SOC 2, I may not have a comprehensive list of needed features or areas for improvement, but I anticipate that more insights and potential areas for enhancement might emerge over time.

I use Scytale to simplify my SOC 2 readiness by automating evidence collection and integrating with various apps, making the process more efficient and less time-consuming. It also aids in seamless risk assessments, saving me hours by providing comprehensive reports for management.
Effortless and Smooth Experience with GRC Manager Integration
What do you like best about the product?
Great platform for managing compliance frameworks. in addition to great support from a dedicated GRC manager, things are smooth and easy to understand and implement
What do you dislike about the product?
Integration mismatch but over all integrations works well. some duplicates in data but that is expected

Clarifying the SOC2 process makes it much easier for technical teams to understand the requirements and what is expected of them.

What I appreciate most is the automated evidence collection and the user-friendly platform. Additionally, the support team was very helpful throughout the audit process.
What do you dislike about the product?
Previously, some evidence collection involved manual processes until the integration was implemented. The support team is generally commended for their proactive efforts to address these issues ahead of the next audit cycle.

The platform offers significant time savings by automating evidence collection. All policies, controls, evidence, and audit communications are conveniently centralized in one location. The guided expert support helps throughout the entire process, making everything more streamlined and efficient.

Scytale helped us in getting ISO certified which saves us a lot of time and effort to comply with our own customers. The process is much smoother now

I love how Scytale streamlined the entire process for SOC 2 and ISO 27001, making it incredibly easy to prepare for successful audits. The platform's user-friendly interface and the ability to monitor every stage provide clear visibility of what is required and track progress seamlessly. Additionally, I appreciate the outstanding support provided by our contact person, Romy Spencer, who has been instrumental in guiding us through the process. The initial setup was incredibly easy, and the overall efficiency of the platform makes it highly recommendable. The quick response to issues, such as fixing broken automations promptly, demonstrates the reliability and support efficiency that adds to the product's value.

Some of the automations broke but they fixed it very quickly.

Scytale streamlines our SOC 2 and ISO 27001 processes, preparing us for successful audits with easy-to-use stage monitoring. It ensures we know exactly what to prepare, easing the audit process.
Dashboard App and Weekly Scheduling Make Work a Breeze
What do you like best about the product?
The dashboard app helps me progress, and Robin and I close the weekly work schedule, which works well.
What do you dislike about the product?
The dashboard notification should be fixed - I see them after I click and they don't dissapper.

Exceptional Service and Efficiency from Day One
What do you like best about the product?
Scytale understood our needs from 1st meeting and was extremely helpful andefficient. Implementation was easy and the instructions was super clear. Nicole Alvaro has been super helpful, she has guided trough everything and been available whenever any questions raised.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. The only thing I can think of regarding improvements was the forms I had to fill in - it had questions about MacOS while I am a Windows user. Nothing to even mention but this form force me to write something

Working with the Scytale team was a fantastic experience - they are very knowledgeable about the product and audits, and very quick to assist with any questions we had.

The system is sometimes very slow (not my internet, other users had similar issues), and sometimes the system did not work altogether - an issue on their backend.

I dislike the minor bugs in the UI, which could be improved for a smoother experience.

I use Scytale for ISO and SOC compliance, which helps us go through audits easily with full visibility by centralizing information. It is intuitive, making it clear what tasks are necessary for the audit.
Outstanding Support and User-Friendly Platform
What do you like best about the product?
Our representative, Laura Quan, did an outstanding job guiding us through the process and helping us stay on track. Although the platform has a few quirks, it becomes very easy to use once you are familiar with it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The automatic integrations offer very limited configuration options, making them feel like an all-or-nothing solution. It would be helpful to have the ability to set exclusions for cases where the automatic evidence collection is inaccurate. It's frustrating to watch a control switch from pass to fail every time the automated processes run.

Gathering all the policies and evidence into one location so that all members of the team, whether executive or technical can be active in the compliance process.
