Creating workflows is the best way to optimize your sales process

  • April 29, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how the data of a contact/company record is organized - it gives a clear view of its relationships, past activities, and general information.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the fact that whenever there is a feature with its data organized in folders; I can never create subfolders.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sending out newsletters to leads/customers in a GDPR-friendly way

    Management Consulting

All-in-one marketing tool

  • April 29, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Social media scheduling tool and monitoring capabilities are great to get an overall understanding on how our activities are paying off. I've used Hootsuite before and prefer HubSpot due to its integration with campaigns that include email, workflows, landing pages, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lacking team oversight on activities we plan out, would love a better integration with project management tools. The product could also have better social media management features that come with posting on actual platforms regarding documents on linkedin, carousels on instagram, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
End-to-end campaign tracking is a problem we are solving. Content marketing is much easier to plan out the calendar. This saves us time and makes planning much simpler.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great choice for small marketing teams.

Great support but lacking some features

What do you like best about the product?
The support when available (online chat) is invaluable and would make me choose HubSpot over Pardot or similar when renewing.
What do you dislike about the product?
The paywalled features. You have to have an enterprise package to fully utilise attribution which as a one man marketing team makes me use other third party software unnecessarily.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
An almost all in one marketing suite.

Hubspot truly helps automate my work and improve our marketing

  • April 29, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The workflows and the ability to automate some of the essential but basic functions have helped our ability to identify good leads and get them to the right salespeople. This plus all the emails we can assign to various stages and workflows
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some features that I believe are still in the works but automated sequences would be a nice addition to help reduce the manual touch for some incoming leads. The other downside is mainly around 3rd party software. At some point, to get the most out of marketing efforts, you need Salesforce as a CRM. That being said, if the company isn't at that scale, this solution works incredibly well for all the various functions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Right now it is a way for us to simplify our approach to email and will soon be our platform to address social media and planning posts in that area. It's also great for collaborating across departments.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This platform is a beast with a ton of helpful resources to assist you with getting the most value out of Hubspot.

Workflows and email marketing automations, customer journey info, emails tools

I love HubSpot Workflows

  • April 29, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Workflows, reports, clean exporting and importing
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't edit tasks through workflows. .
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has solved a lot for us regarding automation, better data, and knowledgeable actions based on reports. I wish there were more integrations with other tools, but as it is HubSpot is still one of the most powerful tools out there. I once has a long discussion with another vendor about a need they could help us with, and when they were too slow I was able to solve the entire problem with some HubSpot workflows instead. They were saying it would take weeks to implement, and it took me about an hour.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I think it's very worth it, and get the highest level of subscription that you can afford. It's absolutely worth being able to use HubSpot to it's full extent.

Amazing Digital Marketing Tool

  • April 29, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that there is a CRM system here as well as an Ad Manager. HubSpot is definitely innovating the digital marketing space using this technology.
What do you dislike about the product?
That service tickets end up in my conversations box. I would like live chat and service tickets (emails) to be separate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to instantly chat with customers with questions or needs has become so vital to my sales approach. It is the future of retail I believe.

HubSpot Marketing Hub

  • April 29, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
HubSpot Marketing Hub is easy to navigate and a tool I like working in. Bringing our social media channels, landing pages, forms, SEO blogs and analytics all under the same roof, coupled with HubSpot's free CRM, gives us a really powerful platform in which to plan content strategy. All the team has access to the parts they need. Files and imagery are easily accessible. HubSpot automation (Workflows) is such a powerful way to nurture leads and provide quality content to our diverse range of target audiences. Now when someone signs up through our HubSpot form for our newsletter, we can identify their persona and immediately start nurturing them. It's a really powerful tool with a great team behind it. We've integrated all our analytics into HubSpot and pull valuable digital reports in a fraction of the time. I've found HubSpot a pleasure to work with along with the agencies that also have supported us when onboarding. It's wonderful that you could also have your entire website built in the environment too although we still operate with WordPress. Bespoke templates were easily made so that all our HubSpot pages look like our actual website. Clients and colleagues can't see the difference. If you have the budget, are focused on inbound marketing and want to enjoy digital again, I highly recommend it.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a sharp learning curve with HubSpot and rolling it out across an organization would take time and buy-in from many to get the most out of its potential. But the possibilities are endless and with a growth mindset and some immersion in the HubSpot Academy it all makes sense very quickly.

The price means that it isn't something I would recommend to everyone but I always recommend HubSpot to my digital community. HubSpot Academy is a wonderful resource for learning about how to use it. Speed the videos up to 150% and you get through some real gems of information at an astounding pace! You can even get certification which can be added to LinkedIn.

The only other downside I can see is that the landing pages could do with more templates that prioritize Accessibility over style. The focus is on marketing but if HubSpot rolled this out fully it could be a one-stop-shop for so many other organizations and agencies that aren't selling in the regular sense but are nurturing clients towards being advocates of their service/offering. Priority templates for the visually impaired would be wonderful.

Your whole team can see at a glance how engaged someone is with your content and they can schedule content across Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram with ease. As far as I'm aware it doesn't have TikTok at the moment, so perhaps that's something that might deter you. Also if Google My Business was an option it would be wonderful in the Social section.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before HubSpot, we had our digital analytics in Google Analytics and Google Search Console, our blog in WordPress, our social media scheduling in Hootsuite, our email marketing in Mailchimp, and our Forms and Lead Capture in LogiForms or SurveyMonkey. We'd some landing pages in Xtensio that we used for irregular website content.

Data was in lots of different places and jumping between windows and tabs was a constant chore. For GDPR reasons and productivity we needed a tool that brought all these under one roof, where we could give people across teams access with bespoke permissions.

I didn't have automated workflows or a CRM before HubSpot, just lots of Excel files and email lists. HubSpot has brought new life to our online presence and the flow of my daily work. Our website is now actively bringing in new leads. Our social media audience is growing across platforms. Our reporting means that we are making decisions that are data-driven and strategic and the Forms and Landing Page components of the Marketing Hub have meant we can be responsive to colleagues' needs and requests at a fraction of the time when new Campaigns emerge. Campaigns (and Reports) in HubSpot are transformative, empowering our marketing team with data that proves the value of the work we do.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend signing up for the HubSpot Academy course on Inbound Marketing, getting a sense of the Flywheel and seeing if it matches the goals of your organization. If you are trying to capture leads from your website and turn them into customers, HubSpot is a great tool to do it. First, get clear on your goals. Identify your Personas (target audiences). Use free templates from HubSpot to do this. Audit your site, audit your processes and see if you can bring them all together in a simpler, more user-friendly way. Know that that way is HubSpot. And if you can't afford it, do yourself a favor and learn from them. It certainly comes across as a company that genuinely wants to assist you in bringing your customers on a meaningful and worthwhile journey. Best of luck!
