Great tool for small businesses
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, intuitive platform, and customer support is awesome!
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform is robust, however, I have yet to dive into some of the more granular features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Learning customer behaviors has been very helpful with this platform. We have been able to do more one-to-one targeted communications based on customer preferences and insights gained from their behaviors on our site.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Onboarding with an onboarding provider is very helpful.
Great platform
What do you like best about the product?
Emails, automation, and landing pages are all managed in one single platform.
Landing pages - It took some time to get used to how it works, but once I got - I felt like I could build any landing page I want with only basic knowledge in HTML & CSS.
Emails - felt quite confident that my emails are going out the time and the way I wanted them to. comprehensive testing capabilities.

What do you dislike about the product?
Lead scoring - the regular scoring is not intuitive enough and we couldn't get the most out of it. I believe that their predictive scoring do better, but I believe there should be some recommendations and templates for the lower tier version.
Reporting - the reporting capabilities is quite limited - I would expect them to allow users to play with the data with more flexibility, including workflows and users data for example.
Ads - they have a nice platform enabling users to sync lead lists from Hubspot with advertising platforms (Adwords, FB, Linkedin, and more), but it's limited to only a few.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Hubspot, I drastically improved Marketing & Sales collaboration with lead enrichments, workflows and notification. We also use Hubspot to understand what leads are doing prior to their form submission, and thanks to data enrichments (Hubspot Intelligence) to get a better idea of who they are.
Excellent tools for testing strategies to engage with customers
What do you like best about the product?
The design tools that hubspot offer allows to quickly mock up, discuss with team and set up custom looking landing pages, emails and more, it really saves a lot of time and it offers everything needed to capture leads easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the design functions can be expanded to make it even easier to customize material. Also I wish there was a way hubspot could assist in helping set up emails in a way that reduces the chances of having them go to spam or promotions for gmail users
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
its very easy to be able to have control over the companies CRM from one platform and easily work on marketing strategies with a team in a common platform
Recommendations to others considering the product:
there should be a way to redirect all communication from all forms and emails to a selected email account for cases in which the whole team goes on holidays or a team member leaves the organization
Easy to create emails
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to create emails. Easier than other tools I've used. Like that it has a free option for small businesses. Integrated with CRM
What do you dislike about the product?
Expensive to upgrade. Doesn't tell you why a specific contact can't be emailed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easily generate marketing emails for marketing campaigns
Easy to Use!
What do you like best about the product?
HubSpot is easy to navigate and very intuitive. We don't typically have alot of time to train interns and new employees so it helps that everything is laid out in easy to digest format. If there are issues, HubSpot usually returns their message with little downtime.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the features could use examples in case we want a further explanation or see how something is showing up. I would also love to see more email template options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Landing pages, email blasts/invites. We love the a/b testing aspect and understanding the results.
Tools for Every Level of Marketer
What do you like best about the product?
Hubspot has a tool for nearly every aspect of our marketing initiatives. Yes, the SEO tools aren't as good as SEMrush. Yes, the ads tools are more granular in Adwords (as I'd hope they'd would be).
However, when it comes to the interconnectivity of every major marketing facet (outside of direct mail, and there's integrations for that), Hubspot is the go-to for omnichannel marketing.

What do you dislike about the product?
The reliance of software lends itself to a complete disregard for direct mail. With the malleability of Hubspot's properties, we're able to patch together a solution (physical products are a big part of our marketing, as a promotional products vendor).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One single source for all marketing tools, and the connected reporting that stems from it. No longer are we using an ever-growing marketing stack. Hubspot, and a couple other tools relevant to our industry.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The Hubspot academy is incredibly helpful to get yourself acquainted with the nuances of the platform.
Easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
The system is fairly intuitive, and easy to use. as long as you don't have hard coded images in your emails, then you have to get into the code on the back end. But that is pretty easy too. Adding tables, Calls to action, links in the text or to images are simple actions completed by selecting from a menu. It saves your changes automatically so you don't lose anything, but I save continuously anyway.
Landing pages are really easy but forms can be a bit challenging until you get used to them or when connecting them to a workflow. If you are connecting anything to an automation test, test, and test again. Make sure you have the action that you can create multiple workflow actions per Contact enabled or the testing will require you create a dozen test accounts to verify your functionality. Workflows takes a bit of a learning curve but once you get the hang of it, it is simple. Diagnosing a break later is a problem, but if you know how to look you can find what happened and fix it. Make sure you only have one person per form or workflow. Too many cooks in the kitchen is a surefire path to a mess. There are plenty of places to look for an error or to get 'under the hood' to figure something out. HubSpot is always willing to help, although that is time consuming.

What do you dislike about the product?
HubSpot support assumes you don't know what you are doing. I have found programming errors they were not aware of. It takes a bit to get them to understand your knowledge set. Their online knowledge base doesn't cover the issues i am usually looking for, it is not very in-depth.
It takes way too many mouse clicks to get anything done. It would be nice for the engineers to think like end users. When you exit a piece and it is in a long list, sometimes you have to search back through that list to find it again - time consuming. You have to scroll a lot, everywhere.
When you send a campaign, and it turns into a lead - it doesn't enforce the name of the campaign for marketing ROI unless you add that step in the workflow. Even then it can be changed so true ROI is not reported accurately. i don't like the ROI reporting at all. I don't trust it.
Sequencing takes an inordinate amount of time for the benefits, and the reporting is minimal.

Big email campaigns, workflows sending MQL's to specific sales people. Complex, multi task workflows save a lot of time. Sequencing for small groups over time for lead nurturing is great. Workflows assigning leads to service or sales automatically saves effort and provides consistency. Reduction in duplication of effort. Minimization of mistakes due to duplication of effort. Automate just about anything you can to reduce salesperson data entry and get them selling. Snippets save a lot of time in routine person to person email communication for sales and service.
Great platform with a few quirks
What do you like best about the product?
HubSpot is a great platform that is relatively easy to use. It has all of the features for a marketing platform that balances power with ease of use.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have had some service interruptions and sometimes things have some non-intuitive quirks to them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Marketing automation and Customer Data Tracking
Easy and Robust Marketing Software
What do you like best about the product?
HubSpot offers classes through their Academy that teach new users how to utilize their software to the fullest capacity and breaks each class down to allow users to choose to learn each part of their class separately if needed. The software is easy to learn and with the added benefits of the Academy classes, I feel like my organization is using HubSpot to it's fullest capacity.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that the modules in a template for a website page, landing page, or blog page are not able to be added or removed during the creation process. I sometimes want to change the look of the page after I've created content and built everything out, and find myself having to copy everything into a new template and therefore losing work/time just to remove one module.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The best part about HubSpot Marketing Hub is that everything is in one place. I can make one social media post and have the same message sent to multiple platforms, I can see website pages and landing pages each at a glance, and I can fully analyze data for campaigns through Dashboards and reports.
Best marketing platform I've ever worked with
What do you like best about the product?
The design tools are awesome, they allow me to do almost everything that I want, I can build products inside their product. And the email builder improved a lot this year
What do you dislike about the product?
The forms have space for improvements, like 2 steps forms and more customization features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I build a Landing pages builder inside design tools, that allows my team to build LPs without help from a developer. We are also using the emails and the new Quotes module
