Very user friendly and great to manage CRM and Marketing Automation
What do you like best about the product?
I love how user-friendly the platform is. The workflows are really easy to use. I also really like that you have a contact, company, and deal entities which makes very easy to manage the whole CRM - Marketing automation process. Plus I LOVE HS support team! They are SO helpful
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some more complex processes that you aren't able to do, or certain reports that you aren't able to get (like if you want to get email reports showing selected emails you want to see and compare them) but you usually find a workaround
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
we are implementing a new ABM system and HubSpot workflows and the company entity has been very helpful (we probably wouldn't be able to accomplish the task using other marketing platforms like Marketo that doesn't have a company/account entity)
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Super easy to use. There might be some things you will not be able to do (compared to other marketing automation tools) but you usually find a workaround, and their support team is always very hands-on and will help you figure out any possible doubts and questions you might have.
I love HubSpot. It Makes My Life Much Easier as a Marketing Director!
What do you like best about the product?
HubSpot is easy to use, and makes life as a Marketing Director less stressful. They have everything a platform would need for a marketing team to operate at full capacity. I really enjoy using their social tools that they have to offer. Being able to access a content calendar filled with posts that will be pushed out allows me to maintain our long-term vision of the department and company as a whole. There are also a lot of tools that integrate with your website to make editing landing pages even easier. I love the integration with other apps as well. With HubSpot not being exclusive from other platforms, makes things easier on small businesses and their wallets. Thank you for not limiting those capabilities! They also have a fantastic library of webinars that help you understand the process of inbound marketing. You can participate in live webinars, or you can enjoy the recorded ones. The software itself also makes it easy to understand how the different components work. Plus, they have done a great job of making all of their help resources available everywhere in the tool. HubSpot’s approach to moving a lead to a customer is more sales-based than I’m used to, so I’m going to see how that plays out for my company. In the past, I’ve taken a pretty hands-off approach toward “key leads” and just waited for them to come to me. In HubSpot methodology, while you still use email and content to nurture leads, you also need to reach out to sales qualified leads using more typical sales techniques. For most companies with a sales team, that’s a very natural thing. For me, it’s a little more of a challenge. Of course, I haven’t consumed all of their “closing” videos yet, but that’s what I know so far. I have discovered that there have been two large flaws in how I approached Twitter. First, I wasn’t talking directly to people and just enjoying the conversational aspect of the medium. Secondly, I was only putting links to my content out a few times and then letting it disappear. Using HubSpot’s scheduling feature, it’s now super easy to schedule tweets out over time and keep them from being redundant.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing that I dislike. When I have issues, there is always communication in place from HubSpot already in place to let users know what is going on. No guessing games or assumptions. One issue that I've had watching HubSpot's marketing from the outside is that they sort of downplay how critical creating content is to the success of their system. Without creating the right kind of content, you will fail. I suppose that HubSpot assumes that their customers know this key information before they sign up, but for many companies looking to gain customers from their online presence, it can appear that HubSpot is some magic tool with a big green "Go" button, and great stuff happens. So, I've been pleasantly surprised with how much effort they go to to help you understand the why's and how's of creating the right kind of content. While I love having the email marketing tool integrated for better analytics and reporting, I have to confess that I do miss MailChimp just a little. The formatting isn’t quite like I want it to be—especially with my company information that gets inserted at the bottom of my emails automatically—and it seems like the reporting of the emails I send is a little sluggish.

Kelsey, my HubSpot marketing consultant, has asked me to create offers for all three phases of the lead funnel: top, middle, and bottom. Their methodology is very clear and easy to follow about what types of offers work well at each stage. So, the offers I created here are pretty much all top of funnel, and I know that my bottom of funnel is for someone to contact me, or request an assessment of their web presence. Now, next month, I’ll be creating my middle of funnel offers. Makes life easier!

You will love it. They have everything that you would need for a Marketing and Sales department.
Great all-in-one marketing automation platform
What do you like best about the product?
All-in-one platform with various features and capabilities.
You can do everything you need in marketing on HubSpot marketing, including emails, landing pages, blogs, lead generation campaigns, SEO, workflow automation, and so much more.
What's best is that if you also use Sales Hub and Service Hub, you can have all your customer information in one place, which adds great value for the team: Sales and Marketing can work better together, and Customer Experience can also work with Marketing better.
You will have one single place to manage all your customer-facing efforts.

What do you dislike about the product?
To be honest, I can't think of anything.
If I have to be extra picky, I'd say that the SEO section can provide a little more value. I say this because SEO is super important to marketing and there are many things we can do with it and it ties into many aspects of Marketing.
HubSpot does cover the basics but it would be nice if we can do more with it.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Building our inbound marketing from scratch.
We are a young company and when we first started, we had nothing - no website, no blogs, no lead capture, no funnel analysis, etc.
HubSpot was a great way to get marketing activities started, and help us set up every aspect of marketing slowly.
It is nice to have a platform that can do all, and you only have to train your team on using one platform to do the work rather than navigating through multiple tools and platforms.

You will likely benefit a lot beyond Marketing.

Love Hubspot!
What do you like best about the product?
Everything I need is in one place (social, email, etc)
What do you dislike about the product?
Email deliverability is relatively low! It is a major concern
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Social planning, email set up!
Jim, you're one of the most engaged users of Workflows in HubSpot!
What do you like best about the product?
I like workflows, lists, and being able to see customer activity.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some things take multiple workflows, or lists, to achieve what I am looking to do. Creates more clutter.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automating follow-ups with sales team. Frees them up for business development and alerts them to who is engaged. Also learning more about what campaigns are working and not working.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Automation and customer activity have helped tremendously
HubSpot is the best/most user friendly marketing automation platform around
What do you like best about the product?
The user interface is easy to learn & use. They make navigation between tools very easy and the tools themself are very easy to use. The drag and drop features of the emails/landing pages/etc are very helpful and quick. Onboarding new users on our team is also very easy to set up and train on using the different tools and functionalities. HubSpot also has a great knowledge base that can answer many questions if you need help with something. It's one of the best knowledge bases I've utilized. Customer services is also top notch and very easy to work with.
What do you dislike about the product?
Just like any platform, there are going to be functionalities that you may want that the platform maybe doesn't have right now. HubSpot, for the most part, has the functionality we need but there are areas where we needed a little more or thought of something that we would like to do in our background automation but weren't able to do. It wasn't a huge deal but it did make things a little more complicated in some areas. They do allow for tickets to be created and ideas sent to the engineering team for possible future features - I would love for a way to track an idea that was submitted to see if it's something that will be worked on or it's not something on their radar that they want to pursue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
HubSpot is helping our team at Solutionreach utilize more inbound tactics for our lead generation and then better qualifying them and moving them down the funnel. We recently downsized our inside sales development reps and so the focus on inbound efforts has increased a ton. Creating these marketing campaigns in HubSpot has been great and allowed us to not only expand marketing efforts, but get sales more involved in using HubSpot and get them familiar with the tool. We also utilize HubSpot for our entire website so it helps to have everything there in one platform and it helps us more easily score our leads based on engagement on the site and with our content/emails/landing pages.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would say do it. It has been a great tool for our company. If you are on the fence, try out the free version and get in the platform and start testing out the features and get your hands dirty. I think you'll like what you see.
Great, user-friendly experience!
What do you like best about the product?
I like how seamlessly Hubspot integrates with so many things that I already use, or hadn't though of using, but just. make. sense. The UX is so clean and simple, it's honestly a pleasure to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I've run into that I don't like is the inability to post multiple images to Instagram. It frustrates me when I can send those images through every other platform, but then I have to log into Instagram separately to make a similar post.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Most of my work on Hubspot is social media related. I'm able to see competitor streams and get analytics about our posts all in the same place. It's so painless, and makes my campaign planning easy. I look like a superstar when I can present reports to the exec team, but it's really Hubspot that's making me look good. :)
Great results and barely scratched the surface of platform capabilities
What do you like best about the product?
Powerful SEO tools, reporting, and conversion attribution are a few of the great capabilities of Marketing Hub. The automation capabilities seem practically endless. There are loads of options for customizing contact properties, which allows for precise filtering and segmentation. Lead scoring is also a great tool that we use to trigger an automated move of a contact from marketing over to sales once they meet certain criteria.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish page templates were more easily customized. A front end editor for page templates would be great. This I would say has been the biggest hangup and took some learning to get used to the builder that is available to create templates on the backend. If your company does not have someone who would feel comfortable doing this then it would be best to hire a developer who partners with Hubspot to create templates for landing pages. Hubspot will migrate certain things over for free or low cost, and there are some out of the box template options as well as options that can be purchased.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using the Hubspot inbound strategy (which Marketing Hub is built for) has doubled web traffic and conversion rates. Hubspot reporting has helped optimize marketing efforts with the ability to easily show what performs well and what doesn't. Previously, tracking conversion sources, individual page performance, and optimizing ads were split between different applications. The ability to pull all of these things together in one place is very helpful.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Hubspot marketing platform is capable of doing a lot. Making sure to have dedicated time to learning the capabilities of the platform, going through the Hubspot Academy, and attending Inbound at least once will be very helpful. The automation possibilities are practically endless. If there is a will to automate something, there is probably a way to do it. It is a good idea to map-out an automation plan on paper or outside of Hubspot that way you know exactly what you are looking to do when building out your automations.
Best user-experience and pretty good breadth of tools
What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive UX for core inbound marketing needs
What do you dislike about the product?
Analytics are improving but not as robust as needed for full strategy decisions
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Primarily using for demand generation and email marketing. This is where HS shines!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are executing B2B demand generation marketing than look into HubSpot's Marketing Hub. Unless your needs are highly complex or extremely basic, you may find that they deliver what you need and with a superior UX - which means a higher adoption rate across a broad range of user skills.
User friendly but also detailed
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to create workflows, create and send emails, and list segmentation.
What do you dislike about the product?
The inability to customize the drag and drop email creation feature to a certain extent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving list segmentation struggles with the ability to customize properties and other values to create the different audiences to target.
