  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It allows us to streamline our approach to marketing and additionally use a multitude of tools that we did not have access to before.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does not allow for too much customisation for b2b businesses and it can be difficult to navigate but their support is good if you take time to chat through your issues with a customer rep/account manager.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are automating workflows and customer onboarding, all social media is filtered through Hubspot Marketing Hub.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do it! It will make hubspot your central platform and will provide a return on investment if you put time into working with it and set up correctly/

Truly a one-stop shop for our Marketing needs

What do you like best about the product?
What I like the most is the email sending capabilities and features that HS offers. The new drag and drop editor is pretty cool and was a long-awaited feature. Other than the platform, I like the resources and courses in Hubspot academy. Good tips to not just get the most of the platform, but also to become a better Marketer even if you aren't using Hubspot.

I also love the chat support and the Support team behind it. They are very knowledgable, extremely professional and always quick on the action. It's a great relief to know you have them on the other side.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much to 'dislike' really, but here are my observations on what could get better:

1) For landing pages, I find that changing templates in the template editor isn't very intuitive. If there were a faster way to create/edit landing pages, like a drag and drop, that'd make using them much simpler.

2) The SEO of Hubspot-created pages can improve. If the platform could guide the user to optimise the on-page SEO, Metadata, URL structure etc (somewhat like a Yoast plugin), it'd be helpful. Especially if the user is not familiar with specifics of Search Engine Optimisation.

Having said that, these are more of improvement suggestions than complaints! I'm very comfortable recommending Hubspot Marketing Hub.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Hubspot for
-Email Marketing
-Lead Scoring
-Automation
-Landing pages
-Social Posting
-Dashboards

The top-level, as well as the detailed view of performance, is what makes HS useful for us.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make a list of all your potential use-cases for the next 24 months. Because you might not be doing something today but will do it later. Evaluate HS for all those features and speak to one of their experts.
Also, as a Hubspot user, you can upskill yourself with their courses, trainings and how-to articles.

Hubspot is a better choice

  • September 02, 2020

What do you like best about the product?
managing multiple accounts is easier and scheduling posts quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I face problem when I can't tag people in posts. I need to go to the official social media platform and then tag them. This troubles me when I make posts on Twitter. Twitter doesn't allow us to edit posts. So, to tag people, I need to make the post separately on Twitter. To make my posts visible to my target audience, I need to make posts in midnight. Imagine my trouble waking up till that time just to make a post on Twitter.

Also, I can't attach documents on LinkedIn. We often use LinkedIn slideshow posts, which we believe will bring more engagement. Since I can't attach such files on Hubspot, I need to do it on LinkedIn.com. Again, the same problem here. To make my posts visible to my target audience, I need to make posts in midnight. Imagine my trouble waking up till that time just to make a post on LinkedIn.

When scheduling posts on multiple channels, with a single click after making post on one channel, Hubspot will automatically replicate the post on other channels along with the schedule time. However, when I set the time to Publish Now, this is not replicated in other posts. So, I need to set time for those posts separately. This is causing me inconvenience.

To promote my stuff, I need to share it in groups. However, sharing in groups is a hectic job. Dozens of groups to promote in. I would appreciate if Hubspot allows us to share posts on groups automatically.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
managing multiple channels with ease.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Certainly, Hubspot is a delight to have for social media marketing. Though it cannot totally replace the need to go to the official social media platforms all the time, definitely, it allows you to do a lot from one place. I believe they're going to fix all small issues and make big improvements to make this more powerful. Hubspot offers different packages. Choose the right fit wisely.

An excellent CRM and marketing toolset that keeps getting better & better!

What do you like best about the product?
I have really enjoyed using the HubSpot Marketing Hub. What I appreciate most is the fluidity of the platform in allowing you to access your contact database, your marketing emails and automation, AND your social media analytics and publishing in one place. We began using the HubSpot Marketing Hub in 2017, and in the 2-3 years I've been using it, I've seen it get better and better. The HubSpot team is very gracious and receptive to feedback. The email editing tools, for example, used to be somewhat clunky to use, but now I prefer them to other email-specific tools like BeeFree, etc. The drag and drop mechanics are really slick, as are the email automation tool. As far as social media goes, the reporting, publishing, and monitoring tools are incredibly easy to use. You can even bulk upload social media posts using an Excel spreadsheet template they provided. This has made the social media aspect of my job MUCH easier (since it's one job out of many I have to do on a weekly basis). The HubSpot Academy lessons and certifications are the icing on the cake. HubSpot truly seems to practice what they preach, and I always learn so much from them both in their lessons and at their annual conference.
What do you dislike about the product?
Most of the things I've taken issue with in the past have already been fixed in later updates, honestly. I wish we got transactional emails included in our package because we pay quite a bit for the Enterprise-level subscription only to be faced with issues of not being able to send transactional emails to customers who have unsubscribed from our marketing emails. This is available in higher tiers, but it seems like a simple enough feature to have at our price point.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving the problem of having all of our marketing contacts in a single location broken down by key features such as persona, school (we're in education), etc. and being able to contact these folks through email messaging or on our social media channels. We are benefitting from the robust analytic tools that highlight the performance of our marketing efforts. We are also benefitting from the automation tools that allow us to create smart communications that go out automatically based on a prospect's behavior without us having to constantly monitor this behavior ourselves.

Easy to Use Platform

  • August 31, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Hubspot is an easy to use platform with lots of functions. And if you ever need help, there is a great help section. Their customer service is top-notch as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
At this point in time, nothing sticks out in my mind. Whenever I have an issue, I reach out to support. They are quick to get back to you, and they have helped me troubleshoot through many problems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I primarily use Hubspot for social media. It has helped me track what posts do well, so I can update my strategy. I also like that you can schedule posts, and create posts across platforms all in the same place.
