Marketing Made Easy
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to view in a calendar format or a list format. I the calendar helps me track all the different accounts and see what I have posted across the different platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm pretty happy overall with the functions. I don't like that I have to reconnect my accounts as often as I do. It would be nice if I could go longer without having to reconnect.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using the sales section is great because I share ownership of contacts with another person. When that person is out of the office, I can review communication between my colleague and the contacts. It helps us see when the last contact was made, what was discussed, and how I can offer services without overwhelming the contact with too many emails, calls, etc. I also like the task button because it allows me to set tasks and not worry about forgetting to reach out. Clients like the Bot we have on our website. It connects them to an automated response but also directs them to a live person if they have questions outside of the regular automated answers. The landing pages are good for our webinars as well because we see who has signed up, the trends from week to week, as well as new contacts in our system.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
HubSpot has a lot of training tools and the academy is a great way to learn something new before reaching out to the IT or help resources. I've figured out a lot on my own by reviewing the training and tools the company already has. I feel like it is a better use of time than bothering my account representative or IT department at HubSpot as I recognize they are busy with their assignments.
Making Workflows Easy
What do you like best about the product?
Workflows are visually displayed so you can see what the journey looks like. Making changes fast and collaboration between different people on our team is easy and fast.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a bit tricky to enrol a company profile into workflows. This has created some complexity for us and the need to find workarounds which at the moment are a little underwhelming. It works great for targeting an individual, but not a company.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automating activity across our platform. It has made engagements faster and way more efficient and our ability to engage and re-engage users is more powerful than ever.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
get a startup package for the first year and then watch out as it can get expensive pretty quickly.

What do you like best about the product?
We love the email builder and how easy it is to test, use smart tools, and personalization. It is easy to create our traditional emails as well as our automated emails all in one place. This tool alone helped to streamline our marketing strategy and eliminate several other marketing tools.

What do you dislike about the product?
What is least helpful about the Marketing Hub is the different locations of the landing page editor vs the location where landing page template editor is. Also, the new layout of the social media calendar only shows one post followed by "3 more".
The main problem we ran into when implementing HubSpot was that the email is the primary key to determining duplicates in contacts. For this reason we were unable to use HubSpot as our CRM. With the ability to remove or adjust this we would be able to further extend our automation.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We cut are martech stack in half and introduced more advanced automation to our marketing plan. Because we saved so much time, we are able to focus on the content we are sharing with our audiences and narrowing down our personas.

If you want to save time, have access to great marketing tools, and streamline your strategy then HubSpot serves as a great software for marketing.

What do you like best about the product?
Marketing Hub is been a crucial part of our marketing activities. I love how user-friendly the product is and how you can manipulate the tool to best serve your needs. I can say that HubSpot Marketing Hub is spot on for us at farmbuy.com

I think HubSpot can implement more features into its product to optimize usability. SEM reporting with various customization, and more options to capture the targeted audience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We want to keep all our CRM in one place and utilize that space as much as possible. We are trying to make HubSpot the home for our business.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a great product, I have used only a couple of other Marketing Softwares combined but we wanted to implement only one software which could do everything in one place, Sales, Marketing and Service.

What do you like best about the product?
Super responsive customer support team! They are usually approachable and there are various ways to get in touch with them. I like the online chat box best for quick questions (instant gratifications!) They also have a great user community, in which you can get free courses, webinars, and certifications in digital marketing. The user research team not only actually listens to users' struggles and advice, but also improves Hubspot's functionality with the development team based on users' advice.
What do you dislike about the product?
With some bigger problems that I've encountered, I would prefer an assigned tech support but in our recent case, it was not possible because the way they operate their customer support. This means that we have to call in every time for the same problem and get a different person every time, and we will have to explain the problem every time, which is a little bit annoying but overall all of them are really helpful.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it for lead capturing and generation. It has a great CMS built-in for creating landing pages, as well as hundreds of templates to choose from. Lots of flexibility and very modular interface. It also a great data analysis/reporting tool and data visualization tool. AND it's customizable!
Easy execution of customized workflow
What do you like best about the product?
The best part about the HubSpot is the ease of use when executing a workflow logic. Creating conditions to push a value, auto time bound deal stage movement, real time notifications and so many other things you can do make an operation's job so much faster and easier. You set the workflow once to replicate your logic and you're good to go.
What do you dislike about the product?
Creating a workflow can also have a downside when you've created so many. It's difficult to manage and visibly see how ALL workflows impact each other from a bigger picture. For example I have 6-8 workflows that is tied to contact, company and deal level, but we ultimate want 1 final employee count at the very end of the deal stage, if we add another workflow we may end up running into an inconsistency of data. As a result need to manually audit employee count in our system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Specific to workflows, I'm turning a lot of manual work into automated work. I'm saving so much time not having to manually change properties and calculations for each deal! With a high volume of deals day-to-day this is a huge impact for the team.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great for transactional software service, but would not recommend for complex sales cycles.

The inability to customize some social sites posts (such as tagging, etc)

We are able to optimize our team's time by scheduling posts in advance, and we also get a strong view of our content schedule

What do you like best about the product?
I like having the ability to schedule out posts and tag them to campaigns.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would really like to see more options within the social tool. Things like leaving notes in the calendar, seeing holidays or awareness dates coming up on a calendar, having the ability to monitor and engage with our audience straight from HubSpot rather than having to go out to each platform, and having more competitor listening and reporting capabilities. I'd also like to see more information on the content that we're creating within HubSpot - are we choosing a good time of day to post? Is our content engaging? Too long? Too short? For the price each month, I wish there were more of these features.

It makes it easier to schedule in bulk.
Great Visual For Scheduling Social Media Posts
What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to have a full visual on the month ahead on all of my social media posts for every single platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the calendar had drag and drop features inside of a single day while I wish for the monthly view, I was able to see every post rather than 3 at a time. I also wish I could choose the cover for instagram videos.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it for scheduling social media posts, which has been very helpful as I get a full view of what will be happening on all platforms.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It gets easier the more you use it. It may seem like a lot at first, but it's actually quite intuitive.

The user friendliness and HubSpot Support helping to solve my issues. We've found the HubSpot support group to be fantastic when we have issues relating to our CRM system.
What do you dislike about the product?
A more user friendly version of the HubSpot social media calendar, with an option to categorize the posts you send out based on the kind of content it contains.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Integrating out CMS with our website forms and marketing campaigns as an all-in-one tool. We integrate HubSpot with Sales Force and I find that HubSpot is far more user friendly than SalesForce.
