Hubspot, great for a one-person marketing team.
What do you like best about the product?
I am a one-person marketing team at a family owned company. Having all of my tools in one place is incredibly helpful. My marketing efforts are centralized and I am as efficient as I can be as a sole marketer.
I absolutely love the ability to use the campaigns tool. It gives me a bird's eye view of the process and helps me see any holes I may be missing. Being able to connect landing pages, blogs, and social media marketing efforts to the campaign helps me prove success without having to take too much time building reports. The reports that are brought to us with Hubspot work great for me.

What do you dislike about the product?
If I had to chose something I don't like, it would be how often things are changing. In some ways it's great, but for a small team, it can present a lot of challenges for us. Often times, we don't have the bandwidth to implement new processes or make adjustments, and sometimes we are missing out on tools that are available to us. Onboarding and training for new processes can be a problem when your team is as small as ours. A change comes up in Hubspot, and as the sole person in charge of the software, I can sometimes miss them and not relay the information to the team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've been able to streamline my efforts. Instead of needing multiple programs to market with ads, social, and inbound, I'm down to using Hubspot specifically. It makes my life less complicated. A major problem I was able to solve was marketing and sales alignment. Before using Hubspot, we had a major disconnect between marketing and sales processes. It is not perfect, but all of our team's imperfections come from user and internal processes that need to be addressed. Hubspot makes it easy for us to build a bridge between the two and we have really seen an improvement in lead handoff and conversions.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The tool will give you back only the effort you put in. If you aren't marketing, it won't work. You have to have personal accountability. Start small, don't allow yourself to get overwhelmed by trying to do too much. Starting small let's you achieve small successes as your skillset improves.
Easy to use, informative social media tools
What do you like best about the product?
The user experience of Hubspot's social media tools is great - easy to use, clear and concise. The reporting for social media is fairly decent, and easy to navigate.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the short URLs - when sharing to social, all links turn into a Hubsly link which is off-brand and off-putting for users to click on. I appreciate the tracking for all link clicks though.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have realised how easy it is to schedule content and then easily report on content shared and engaged with on platforms. It's easy to visualise and see in one place and I can grab data really easily from these reporting dashboards.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I'd recommend using Hubspot and integrating it into your entire content and social strategy. It's useful to connect the blog, social media and reporting tools! Plus, scheduling and monitoring, it's all in one place.
Hubspot Marketing Success
What do you like best about the product?
Hubspot marketing tools allow easy access to all social media sites in one location. Posting can be organized months in advance, and can be curated for each specific platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hubspot's social marketing tools aren't the most helpful for Instagram or Twitter. I find them to be more apt for Facebook and Linkedin.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am saving time by using Hubspot to schedule posts as opposed to posting on platforms one-by-one when I desire.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I find it valuable to look at all of Hubspot's resources and options prior to committing to a certain product or plan.

What do you like best about the product?
I like its email marketing features which track the performance. Also the landing pages.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features and usability are rigid at times. eg. when we download the report for the sent emails, many more fields are required, which are not there. secondly, if an uploaded list gets deleted, we cannot track who has deleted it. There must be a changelog according to me.

we want a user to be a member of multiple teams. this request is already given to HubSpot.

Great tool for organizing leads & contacts
What do you like best about the product?
I love the lists and sequences tool. They're great tools to keep track of your contacts and how much they have been contacted.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting tool is my least favorite. It's not as flexible as I'd like and there are a lot of limitations

We keep track of deals & contacts with Hubspot. The analytics tools when it comes to features have been way more helpful than I realized
Great and easy to use marketing automation tools
What do you like best about the product?
The way workflows are designed and work is both very powerful and easy to use, which is not a common thing in the field of marketing automation softwares. It's always easy to design complex workflows but harder to maintain them in the long term, which is why I think that having a good workflow design system is key to perform. That's a great aspect about Hubspot workflows, they are simple and easy to read, easy to design, easy to maintain
What do you dislike about the product?
What you don't know when you start using Hubspot marketing hub is that it's not the perfect fit for any kind of business. For example in our case, we don't have very long sales process, we rather have thousands of SMBs signup up at the same time, reconnect later on and maybe pay even later on. That requires good lifecycle management, which I don't think is developed enough on Hubspot. We had to stitch a lot of data to make things work like we wanted to. Ideally we would have liked to not twist the tool

Having one tool to do the whole job is key to our business. We pilot our traffic acquisition, lead scoring and nurturing, sales process and repeat business all the way through thanks to Hubspot

HubSpot is a very well designed product with several useful features.
What do you dislike about the product?
Members of their sales team treated us with bias. The HubSpot for Startups program had a 90% off offer for 1 Year policy as per their Terms of Service, however, this 1 Year restriction was not actually enforced.
When we highlighted this and extended our contract with HubSpot for Startups program, their sales team member looked the other way for other companies gaining from their lack of restriction enforcement but were eager to highlight that we no longer can access the 90% discount.
HubSpot reneged on their side of the signed contract for 90% discount, wasting a lot of our precious time.
Formulating policies and then selectively enforcing them is bias.
Lacking empathy for consumer's time is bias.
Reneging on signed contracts selectively is bias.

What do you like best about the product?
it's easy to use and follow along coming from Salesforce. hubspot is a more user friendly from my experience and we use a lot of the tools that Hubspot has to offer. I also loved the HubSpot academy and all the certifications you can use. This gave me a lot of confidence to succeed in marketing along with using the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
i think that blogging and social media is difficult to use

we use it for automation and do newsletters through it. We solve our problems for that. We also use it to create certain reports and track our sales performance through our dashboard.
HubSpot fuels ABM
What do you like best about the product?
HubSpot brings sales and marketing together in a meaningful and productive way. I like that all of our efforts are in one place, and that information is easily accessible.
What do you dislike about the product?
In a perfect world, HubSpot would integrate more closely with Google Analytics and keyword research tools to create a marketing "one stop shop."
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Blogging, ABM, sales and marketing crossover. It's infinitely better that WordPress. Additionally, HubSpot actively engages and prompts the sales team to interact with customers.

HubSpot is an effective tool perfect for ABM teams. Get it!
Easy to use tool
What do you like best about the product?
The best part about HubSpot for Marketing is the ease of use. I do not have a background in Design, but I am still able to create beautiful emails and blog posts that look extremely professional. We get compliments all the time about how great our emails look. I also like the ability to easily manage our contact lists, connected from Salesforce, so we are ensuring our emails go to the right targets.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish HubSpot had better metrics tools. I find I have to go to multiple places to find all of the metrics I am looking for and I am never 100% confident I found the most accurate result. I would also like more templates or examples of how to properly use workflows.
However, as a trade assocation, I feel like some of the tools do not align with the way our business runs and we are still navigating how to best use some of the options available to us.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
HubSpot allows us to automate many of our processes. We are just beginning to see the benefits of Workflows and how we can plan how a member goes through a series of events. I also like the campaigns feature, which allows us to see how all of our efforts are working together for a particular topic.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Consider what your end goal is. Do you want an easy to use platform with professional design? Then this is the tool for you! If you are looking for minimal metric features that give you a basic overivew of how your marketing efforts are doing, then this is also a great tool! The key to using HubSpot to the fullest is taking advantage of the customer support team and the articles they publish with recommendations and resources for using the tools.
