Ease of Use with Some Sales-Centric Limitations

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate the seamless integration Gong has with Zoom, which allows for automatic uploads of calls. This feature streamlines my workflow, making it much easier to manage recordings. I find it convenient that after setting up with a special email during the interview setup in Rally, all recordings are managed efficiently. The ease of finding specific calls and analyzing them after the fact is another significant benefit for me. Additionally, I value the snip tool that Gong offers, enabling me to pull clips from calls effectively. These clips can be shared with my team, included in presentations, or sent to support for issue resolution, which enhances collaboration and communication. Overall, Gong’s functionality greatly aids in organizing, analyzing, and sharing critical data from user interviews.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am sometimes frustrated with Gong because the calls don't get automatically labeled or sorted correctly. This requires me to go through each call individually and add them to folders to improve findability. Additionally, Gong feels very sales-centric, which doesn't align with my focus on usability and research. I wish more tools were available that catered specifically to my needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Gong to analyze user interviews, easily pull clips for sharing, and address issues during calls, enhancing team communication and collaboration.

What do you like best about the product?
Love Gong's integratins with SalesForce and Slack. Also its databasing and organization of calls. as in tracks and presents my engagements, conversations and deals.
What do you dislike about the product?
It has so many capabilities that sometimes its hard to find simple stuff lie my archived conversations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I need to know what my customers are talking about. Gong not only records these conversations, but it also transcribes it. Then it identifies specifics within the call and next steps. I can use Gong to know about issues and competitors that are frequently coming up (even by persona).

What do you like best about the product?
What I appreciate most about Gong is the ability to ask any question about a call and receive a quick answer, instead of having to sift through the entire transcript. This feature has been incredibly helpful for me, especially when reconnecting with contacts I haven't spoken to in a while, as it allows me to easily review important details from previous conversations, such as pricing discussions.

Gong is a game changer when it comes to continuous learning and it's something that I use everyday.
What do you dislike about the product?
I honestly can't think of anything I dislike about Gong.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong has addressed some of the major challenges I’ve encountered in sales. Before I started using it, I often struggled to recall every detail from customer conversations, and the notes I kept in the CRM were far from organized.

The platform has made it much easier for me to pinpoint specific aspects of my pitch that need improvement. I also appreciate being able to clip sections of calls and share them with my manager for feedback, which has been extremely helpful.

How accurately it records, transcribes, and summarizes meetings to help with sales cycles, customer engagement, and forecasting.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform falls short in terms of feature and function parity compared to Outreach, and its user experience is not as seamless. Additionally, the absence of a Dark Mode is disappointing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pipeline building, maintaining Salesforce hygiene, and prioritizing opportunities based on their likelihood to close are all important aspects of my workflow. Gong provides comprehensive data and analysis that help me address each of these areas effectively.

What do you like best about the product?
I find Gong incredibly valuable because it records my sales calls for later review, which is essential for referencing back to conversations and training purposes. This feature allows me to concentrate on actively listening and engaging in conversations with prospects without the distraction of taking detailed notes. I also love the ability to search for specific words and be taken to the exact moment in a conversation, dramatically decreasing the time it takes to act on items from a call. The integration with my company's SSO made logging in a seamless process, contributing to a smooth setup experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it's a missed opportunity that Gong doesn't automatically use AI to draft a follow-up email by the time I finish my call.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Gong to record sales calls, improving referencing and training. It saves time on note-taking, enhances focus on listening, and helps me quickly access conversation moments, reducing time to action items.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong provides comprehensive visibility into my team's revenue, forecasting, and activity, while also capturing key business insights from every customer engagement. I could not imagine running a Sales function without a tool like Gong to support strategic and tactical sales decisions.
What do you dislike about the product?
The fact that you need to upload an Excel sheet to set sales targets within the Forecasting module is quite archaic when the rest of the platform performs brilliantly
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong solves the problem of having a limited understanding and visibility across the sales pipeline and eliminates the human, emotive elements to sales, which often cloud the real position of sales opportunities. The platform eliminates 'happy ears' and provides objective insight and data you can rely on as a Sales Leader, rather than just 'gut feel', instinct and sales team feedback

What do you like best about the product?
Gong has played a key role in enhancing the performance of our commercial team. The implementation process was straightforward and uncomplicated, and the support provided by the Gong team whenever needed has been excellent. Our commercial team uses the tool daily, sharing call summaries via Slack across various teams, which enables more informed decision-making. Additionally, the wide range of integrations has allowed us to efficiently and effectively connect our Salesforce, Slack, and Gong environments.
What do you dislike about the product?
Previously, we were unable to ask questions at the Company level, but with the latest releases, this limitation has been addressed!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Visibility has greatly improved for us. Now, we can monitor the number of calls made, track their duration, and ensure that the correct discovery process, such as MEDDIC, is being followed. What stands out most is our ability to share call summaries and outline next steps across the business using Gong. Previously, none of these capabilities were available to us.
