Great solution for reflection and personal growth
What do you like best about the product?
Gong integrates with Salesforce which is important for seamless tracking for myself and my team. I also like the coaching tips it provides in regards to patience, ratio of speaking per person, talking speed, and more. It allows you to reflect on your calls and do better the next time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the AI summary emails miss the most important parts of the convo so I feel like I'm always having to revamp those.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong allows us to reflect on our conversations and be more mindful in future conversations. It's also a great place to pair share with colleagues and provide feedback to one another. This tool also gives us a chance to ensure we're really solution selling and driving value as opposed to 'feature selling.' I always scan my transcripts for certain words that prompt value selling. And, last, I appreciate the AI summary. While it's not perfect, it gives my email some structure to build off of.
Revolutionized My Customer Interactions—No More Note-Taking!
What do you like best about the product?
How I no longer have to take notes! I can be present with the customer, truly listen, then go back and get exact quotes on what they said their priorities are.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's difficult to say that I dislike anything, but I do wish the app offered more proactive coaching. For example, it would be helpful if the app could say something like, "Our research shows the ideal number of questions to ask on a first call is x, but you asked y. Try using these more impactful questions so you can ask fewer overall." Maybe this feature already exists, but if not, it would make the experience even better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find it much easier to prepare for calls later in the sales cycle, and I really appreciate being able to share those calls with key team members, such as SEs and leadership. This helps us work together more effectively to move the deal forward.

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy using Gong for its call briefs that provide a comprehensive recap, highlighting key points and delineating next steps clearly. This feature is immensely helpful in allowing me to quickly scroll through large amounts of call data to find relevant sections without missing critical information. I love how Gong enables me to look back at call participants and share recordings with customers effortlessly. The ability to send call snippets to ProductBoard is another feature I greatly appreciate, which facilitates smooth collaboration with the Product team. The AI-powered highlights are a time-saver, accurately identifying and extracting necessary information, which means I don't need to manually sift through extensive call details. Gong integrates seamlessly with Teams and Zoom, providing auto-recording capabilities that enhance my workflow. Its integration with ProductBoard is invaluable for including customer calls in feature suggestions. Overall, the software speeds up the collection and sharing of information, making it a fantastic tool in my daily operations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it doesn't track all the participants on a call. It would be helpful if that data could be cleaner and easy to access. Just make sure each person that joins is tracked and their name and email are logged and can be later accessed.

I use Gong to track customer information, brief on customer history, and share call recordings. AI-generated call highlights save me time by outlining key points and next steps. The integrations with Teams, Zoom, and ProductBoard enhance my workflow and collaboration.
Smooth UI, Great Sales Tool with Minor Lag
What do you like best about the product?
I really like Gong's user interface; it is the smoothest I've encountered compared to other tools. It was the quickest for me to get accustomed to, which made the transition seamless. The 'to do' section is particularly valuable as it allows me to filter specific tasks, ensuring that I reach out to exactly the people I want to connect with. This specific feature streamlines my workflow and ensures effective communication. The integrations with Dialpad and Salesforce work great, enabling a cohesive operational ecosystem. Additionally, the setup process for Gong was exceptionally smooth and easy, having us up and running in just a week or two.
What do you dislike about the product?
I noticed that the Gong interface slows down and gets kinda laggy at certain times, especially when I'm running multiple flows with a lot of contacts spread out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Gong helps keep my contacts organized, creates tasks for follow-ups, nurtures relationships, and tailors communication flows to different personas efficiently.
Gong: The Ultimate Notetaker for Effortless Call Summaries
What do you like best about the product?
I love how Gong is able to come into my calls and be a notetaker - better than I can ever make notes! I used to rely on my memory and scribbles but now that we use Gong, I rely on it so much for summarised context and neat next steps. Gong has proven itself to be an important tool in CS. The transcription and speaker differentiation is very helpful when I need to go back to specific parts of a call. Navigation and UI is easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, Gong can't be in different call channels automatically - like MS Teams. Other than that, nothing else - Gong is great!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong solves the tiny gaps in handovers from sales to CS by giving comprehensive summaries of calls. Gong also solves the centralisation of call documentation for us.
Effortless Meeting Recaps and Transcripts Enhance Productivity
What do you like best about the product?
It's like a backup memory! I get to rewatch the recording of a meeting and get to focus on the meeting at hand instead of notes. I also love the transcript! Sometimes words I don't pick up in the first meeting or ideas i may have missed become clear when rewatching the video.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hard to share the video with clients/hard to download.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's solving having to take notes during a meeting and also relying on your memory for conversations, because your memory isn't always perfect.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the accuracy of Gong. The AI features are great and I am able to use the results for training.

There isn't much to say, but I genuinely enjoy using this tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong has been instrumental in helping me enhance my communication skills while also providing valuable insights into customer needs. I find that it supports my growth in both understanding and addressing what customers are looking for.

What do you like best about the product?
I've used Gong in 2 different roles and organizations now over the course of the last few years as a Manager of Account Managers. Gong helps me as a leader give direct "live" feedback on calls to improves sales skills that I otherwise would only have insight on if I was on the call. I love the scorecards and AI functions and that they continue to improve from when I first started using Gong to now. The user usability is easy enough for call searching and easy to train on. I also love the transcript function and ability to search the overall outline and keypoints of the call.
What do you dislike about the product?
The way our Forecasting translates into Gong is confusing b/c we don't operate on dollars as a metric for quota. The Forecasting notes section is used everyday but it's clunky and the editing can turn out weird and look unprofessional. When tracking reps Gong activity we find errors in calls listened to based on if they're on the phone app or using their computer URL.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sales Coaching, Gong gives me the ability to give "live" and detailed feedback on calls when I'm not able to attend. We also have so many partners that Gong ability to summarize a last call is helpful to get up to speed quick w/out time consuming research.
A Must-Have for Sales Teams, Despite Minor Email Tweak Needs
What do you like best about the product?
I love Gong for its super accurate transcription capabilities which make it incredibly easy for me to follow up on conversations. The ability to search for specific phrases or words used during a call is invaluable, enhancing my efficiency in managing sales calls. I appreciate how it categorizes topics such as budget discussions, negotiations, and the questions asked by both customers and sales representatives, providing a comprehensive view of the conversation. This feature, along with Gong's ability to generate follow-up emails effortlessly, simplifies the follow-up process. Moreover, I find it very helpful to share clips with managers and colleagues for discussing best practices. These functionalities of Gong address the issue of not having time to take notes during calls. I also enjoy integrating Gong with tools I frequently use, such as Slack, Zoom, and Gmail, ensuring a seamless workflow.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the generated follow-up email using Gong is pretty generic. I often have to tweak it a bit to make it more personalized. It's maybe not as warm or genuine as I would like.

I find Gong makes it easy to follow-up with customers using generated emails, allows sharing clips for best practices, and helps review calls when I couldn't take notes.
