Great tool for call reviews!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can have feedback from a manager, it's also very useful to send recording snippets to prospects. I also love the transcription feature that lets me know the key points in the call.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't say there are any downsides to using Gong. My sales process has only gotten better!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong is solving our call recording and coaching process and providing a vehicle for feedback on calls.
Great product to capture conversation content
What do you like best about the product?
Gong is great in that I can go back to a recording and retrieve any information that I may have missed during the call. Also good for new employees to ramp up their knowledge and get onboarded quicker. Like the fact that I can type in keyword, and Gong will locate that in a specific recording and present you with the results.
What do you dislike about the product?
None for far, I enjoy the using the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Since it records the conversation, I can go back to a recording to get additional details of my call. That way, I don't have to feel so pressured to capture every element of the conversation taking notes. I can focus on the person I'm speaking with.
Would recommend, useful tool
What do you like best about the product?
My favorite features are the "share this snippet" feature and the transcriptions.
I work as an Account Manager in a technical field, so during calls I often get very technical questions that I'll need to share with colleagues for feedback. With Gong, I can now simply share the snippet and they can hear exactly how the customer asked the question. It makes sure nothing gets lost.
The transcriptions are useful because I can quickly search for key words to find specific parts of a call.

What do you dislike about the product?
Quality for Brazilian Portuguese and Spanish transcriptions could be better. It often doesn't recognize the words, especially if they are very technical or niche.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Enables a smoother flow for my sales processes, makes it easier to keep track of deals and next steps, avoids lengthy transcription work, makes sharing information between teams easier.
Gong is extremely helpful with Meeting Transcription and Organizing Touchpoints
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to transcribe and snipping sections of a meeting. Additionally, I appreciate the email follow up that highlights key words for actions to be taken that were mentioned in the meeting.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes when you forward a meeting to be recorded, it won't recognize the location as an online platform and will kick back the meeting and not allow it to be recorded. When I wrote in to customer support regarding this, I never received a response back.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automatic recording, ability to share experience for learning purposes, and business needs of organizing touchpoints and remembering action items for a multitude of meetings with different clients.
Game changer for calls, note taking, review, follow up and moving deals forward
What do you like best about the product?
Gong has been a game changer for me in my workflow. I work in account management and am on video calls with clients at least 5-6 times a week. I used to take notes by hand but we all know the pain of a mad dash to get every detail written or typed up only to have a hand cramp in the middle of it. OR zoning out and missing some of what your client is saying. OR missing a key action item that requires meticulous follow-up. Now you can focus on active listening and know that gong will capture your calls for you to review. This has helped me stay on top of client projects, and move deals forward more efficiently. Now dont get me started on the transcript, analysis of your calls and opportunities for coaching. All in all seemless call recording and note taking for anyone in a client facing role.
What do you dislike about the product?
Transcripts can be improved, you definitely have to proof read and edit. Sometimes the recording drops from the calls and doesn't get recorded. There are some instances where the analysis is way off or it shows the wrong person calling.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Saves me a lot of time taking notes, reviewing calls and action items. It helps me stay on top of follow up which is crucial to moving client projects and upsell deals forward.

The ability to switch to speakers on the recordings.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it hard to find old calls from a client.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong is helpful when I need to review and better understand a clients needs and desires. I am able to show up to subsequent calls with a better understanding of their needs than I thought I had.
Gong Pros and Cons
What do you like best about the product?
Gong puts a mirror in front of us. If we observe and are open to improvement, it can be a fantastic tool to self-introspect and iron out our errors.
What do you dislike about the product?
We should have access to other reps' recordings, at least those where objection handling is top of the line and the customer is convinced under challenging circumstances.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong is helping me become a better communicator and also helping me take feedback from my peers and seniors on areas of improvement.
New to Gong and don't know what took us so long!
What do you like best about the product?
Is it crazy to say, everything? This platform helps me operate my book of business in an efficient way. I can stay focused on my calls and interact with my clients, understanding that Gong will translate and store the call for me. The analytics are incredible and it's helped me become better at my job through learnings, suggestions and tools. I couldn't be a bigger fan.
What do you dislike about the product?
Truly cannot think of any. This product has revolutionized productivity and sales.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sales intelligence & coaching, conversation intelligence, data storing, sales data & coaching replication to help colleagues. Training new employees. Truly has become the key tool in becoming a better listener AND better at my role.
Gong has levelled up my game and helped me remember all the details I might otherwise have forgotten
What do you like best about the product?
Gong is an excellent tool and I like it all around. It records customer meetings for me, ensuring that if I forget something, I can always review the recording. At the same time, it gives me valuable insights on the call such as the percentage of time each member on the call spoke for and a breakdown of conversation topics at each point. This lets me review and improve my own performance and understand customer sentiment towards our discussion at each juncture. I also like the clear annoucement on the start of the call (when the customer joins) that this call is being recorded, making sure all parties are aware and have the option to back out/request that it is not recorded, ensure we respect customer data and privacy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Gong is great - could always improve insights and 'coaching' provided further. Would be good to let me conveniently add it onto calls using software outside our corporate tech ecosystem. Say I'm invited to a Google Meet call, I'd like to be able to easily add Gong in (might be the case already and perhaps I've just missed it).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ensures I don't forget call details such as customer needs, key points discussed, contextual information or next steps. Also lets me review my performance and improve accordingly.
