Useful to review calls
What do you like best about the product?
Transcript of all your calls, less important to take notes.
Have all your calls represented so you can request feedback for calls which went particularly good / bad.

Transcripts are not always good, the sentences often don't make sense.
When I am with a colleague in a call + our client there's a complete mix up of when one of us vs the advertiser is speaker.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Makes it easier to share my calls with my manager. Because of this I can request better and more feedback and my manager has a better view of how I perform overall.

Being able to view the transcript, rate calls, get/give feedback.

Sometimes the transcript is a bit inaccurate.

Pinpointing areas of improvement and being able to go back and review calls that I have taken.

Allows sales enablement and marketing to identify messaging trends to ensure alignment

Coaching and Training opportunities come much easier.

Gong fosters accountability
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to find calls based on keywords, and the transcription/search function for keywords within a specific call. Rather than having to listen to hours of material, you can very easily find the specific section you need.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our instance is setup mostly for sales it seems, and it would be great to have some customer success and account management features in place. This could also be an issue on our side, where we haven't set this up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong allows us to maintain accountability throughout our sales cycle and post-sales lifecycle. Every call is recorded and we can see whether a client did, or did not, say something along with our employees.
Must-have for any salesperson
What do you like best about the product?
The best part about Gong that I've noticed so far is how accurate their transcription is. It saves me so much time to be able to do a quick scroll through the transcript to find what I want instead of trying to skip back and forth 10 seconds at a time. The Zoom call recorder has a transcription service as well, but it isn't nearly as accurate or easy to navigate/search.
What do you dislike about the product?
There aren't any true downsides to using Gong that I've discovered. I think the "problem" (if it could be called a problem) with Gong is that I only ever hear of it being discussed as a call recording software, nothing more. I know there's more to it than that, but I don't really care to do any digging myself since I don't want to think about learning new systems. I only look at new features if my coworkers point them out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong makes it much easier to 1) quickly go back and find information from prospects without having to look back through your own (probably not great) notes and 2) get a visual representation of your interactions with your prospects via Gong Assist.

I like to see the "stats" feature because it shows me essential things about my video conference, like the time I talked, the talk ratio, participant questions, points of interest and more.
Also the AI does a vital job of marking what every participant s talking about and how the conversation is going.

I dislike the fact that sometimes the Gong doesn`t recognize other participants and doesn`t record some of my calls.
And if I have any problem with my conection I lost part of the record feature.

The recording problem and it`s helps me to evaluate my team calls and do a quality job by training our fellas to make better calls and be more assertive to talk with clients.
A great tool for consultants
What do you like best about the product?
An easy tool to utilise and has various aid functions that allow you to stay on top of communication with clients. I could not recommend it more to my consulting peers.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not have much criticism for the platform, it would be great to see gong have active reminders based on conversations you have when writing an email. e.g. you organised to send a strategy deck on x date - would you like to include that in this email?

Gong is solving and elevating the potential for client conversations, aiding the user in improving their own communications whilst facilitating functions that can elevate their performance overal.
The best tool around for sales people!
What do you like best about the product?
Incredible tool, it's helped tremendously when it comes to coaching, tracking deals, updates on deals, forecasting and even more. Definitely would recommend!
What do you dislike about the product?
Only thing I can say is if it could refresh more often but aside from that it's an incredible tool and just something that we'll need to live with!

I love being able to playback my calls and the keyword search is huge in the event I need to go back and follow up on something with my client.
What do you dislike about the product?
It starts recording before people actually join the call - Would gong recordings be able to start when participants start talking so we dont have to go back and trim down the call?
