Cant live without it
What do you like best about the product?
Whether listening to my calls or reviewing my peer's calls, I can no longer live without Gong. Coming into a new company, I significantly reduced my learning curve and got the lingo down much faster because of the repetition that Gong allows.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some AI features are still being worked through but are still usable. It does upload calls that don't actually connect, so I end up sorting through more calls than I want to find what I am looking for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to listen to my own calls and have my peers/management be able to give me feedback on them has been massively helpful. I can compare what other reps are doing and hear how prospects are responding so I can continue to improve my delivery.
great for training
What do you like best about the product?
provides a transcript of the video and can see who is talking and when! it is helpful when looking back at recorded videos for training. we use it for demos as well so we can look back instead of taking notes during the meeting.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much but one thing I noticed is I can't pause the video by clicking on the screen. Also, I have to scroll down on the page on my laptop screen to be able to pause/skip.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong helps record and store videos for training. It is helpful because I can use the search engine to quickly find the video I am looking for.

What do you like best about the product?
The feature of being able to share the recording with customers after trimming the timelines is very convenient. Transcription of the call is also accurate.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing I dislike in Gong. However, it would be great to have more editing features within Gong.

Gong helps me to record my meetings with customers during onboarding and refer to the recordings in case of a need for clarification.
Effective and Intuitive
What do you like best about the product?
Gong is an exceptional tool that has greatly helped in identifying areas of improvement for a sales pitch and in allowing for real focus during a call, knowing the transcript will be available after. It is intuitive and very easy to use, with minimal uplift to get it started.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. Gong has been such a great tool to add to my sales process. I have come to rely on it fully and am excited to continue using it as I uncover its additional functions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong has been essential in allowing for complete focus during a presentation or intro call. Because of its reliability, I can remain present in a call, knowing that I will have the video and transcript to refer back to later.

Time Problems: not being able to take part in learning sessions or going over a call that somebody else did not have time shaddowing

What do you like best about the product?
Visualizing and reviewing all customer interactions throughout a sales cycle is huge. Without a tool like Gong, it can take so much time to backtrack through email threads and notes for the info you need to work a deal.
What do you dislike about the product?
No obvious downside other than it can take a while for calls to be analyzed/processed. I like to handle the follow-up as immediately as possible after a call, and it'd be helpful to have the transcript/recording faster.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong gives me confidence that I haven't missed any critical parts of all the customer interactions during a sales cycle. I can confidently conduct sales processes with my information and demonstrate a high level of attention to detail for prospects.
Game changing conversation intelligence
What do you like best about the product?
Gong allows me to put all my focus on the conversation at hand, without having to stop and look away to take notes. Even better is that I can utilize the keyword search to quickly review past meetings to prep for future ones.
What do you dislike about the product?
I truly and honestly have yet to find something that I dislike about Gong. From the software to their free content on LinkedIn, everything is incredible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong allows me to take notes, review past meetings, and focus more on having genuine conversations which overall reduces my admin work and gives me time back in my day to focus on the bigger picture items.

Ease of us. The system is very user-friendly, and you can learn to navigate it very intuitively. Being able to go back and listen to your calls with customers is also great

I have not used the system enough to find anything I have not liked yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When I have calls with customers, it can sometimes be hard to stop and takes notes, especially when there is a good conversation flow happening. With Gong I can go back in and hear everything we spoke about anytime I want as well as share the reconding with any relevant parties.
LEVEL UP without the pressure
What do you like best about the product?
Sometimes it's not in your best interest to take detailed notes during a call (can be rude to client, too much information to catch, looks like you're treating them as a sale, can't concentrate on actual call, etc) and being able to go back to recall a call's detail is SUCH a great feature. If you work alone - great, BUT if you work within a hands-on team, EVEN BETTER -----recapping is not having the same conversation 2, 3, 4x. Recapping with Gong is a URL to your teammate with a timestamp so they can decipher the most relevant moments, using their own skills/perspective, allowing for tone and importance.
What do you dislike about the product?
I could write minimal downsides, but I genuinely feel that if you are a good sales rep/ person who wants to improve their skills, these downsides are truly positives. To me, the downsides only apply to those hanging on by a thread and don't want to be recorded or those using it for the wrong reasons, including the employers using it for the wrong reasons.

1 - True introspective look at your own calls. 2 - Ability to recap and share with team for varying perspectives. 3 - Learning from other successful people's phone calls. 4 - Catching up after being Out of Office
