Game Changer
What do you like best about the product?
I like the collaboration between peers and supervisors. This tool allows us all to maintain our "One Team" mindset, seeking to build one another up. I also like the metrics/KPI(s) built into Gong that analyze your calls and give you insight into how you might improve your overall client interactions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the speech recognition and transcribing is not 100%.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This tool is helping me to be more patient with my clients and seeking to listen more than I speak.
Extremely useful for training & pipeline management
What do you like best about the product?
Gong's tracking of keywords in your speech such as fillers, pricing & competitors. This has allowed me to improve my own pitching during demonstrations, keep track of talking points I've forgotten and train myself/colleagues using the recordings.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes GONG will not participate in zoom calls or teams calls. This has made tracking my own pipeline events an issue sometimes, luckily I am able to record through other means - it just means i lost GONG's functionality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
GONG is solving my ability to keep track of events that have happened with a client e.g. when certain calls have happened, what were the talking points, what should be the next steps etc.
Brilliant Platform for Analysis
What do you like best about the product?
Use it to review calls. Like the part where it provides written speech for calls. Also like that it can divide the call into discovery, closing etc but putting labels.
What do you dislike about the product?
No strong dislikes as of now. Sometimes the speech recognition makes mistakes and the word all jumbled up if the person has non-american accent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My main goal is to use it to analyze cold calls. It helps me through my previous calls and see the call to listening ratio which is important in sales. I get to analyze my performance with other top performing reps.
Totally Underestimated Gong's Capabilities
What do you like best about the product?
What I really like about Gong is how useful it is as a new sales rep in a new company. It has made my onboarding that much easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel like it's a little too difficult to find calls sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong has enabled me to mimic high performers on our sales team, while also learning talking tracks for pitches. It reduces the friction of onboarding.
A few bugs, but overall this is a fantastic product.
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ability to go back via video and transcript to look at the conversations I've had. It really helps with any action items I might have missed on the front end.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am really struggling with the call search function. It isn't as user friendly as I hoped it would be. I would like to be able to search calls by individual members of the company, but that doesn't seem like its a current function.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My hands can only type so fast so with Gong I don't have to second guess what was said. I can write short hand and if needed can go back to the transcript or the video for necessary coverage. It makes for better subsequent client calls which allows for there to be more information gathered. Happy client means happy company.

It's so cool to dive deep into the details of our calls to find out what we're doing well and what we can work on. There's SO much to learn!

It's complex, which is amazing, but it will take some time to truly understand Gong and use it effectively.

Gong is helping us pick apart our demos and look at what we do well and what we can improve on.
Instant feedback for someone early in their career
What do you like best about the product?
Gong Engage has been a great addition to the tech stack and its workflows are constantly improving and integrating deeper with AI. Was skeptical at first but happy with the change.
What do you dislike about the product?
Continue making improvements on the engagement side of things. Sequence and prospect tagging/labeling would be a great addition

With Gong I don't have to focus on notetaking during calls, which allows for more active listening.

What do you like best about the product?
Love seeing the insights and ways I can improve. For example, the talk ratio lets me know if I have been rambling for too long. I look at high performers' stats and try to emulate that.
What do you dislike about the product?
The video quality? But that may be something on my end. I really can't think of anything else I don't like. It'll be hard for me to work at another company if they don't use Gong.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It gives me feedback on my entire call. Managers don't have time to review the entire call and write stats. I love how all of this is automed and I can see myself improving over time.
