Gong, just what we needed to improve telephone sales
What do you like best about the product?
This program allows me to archive and access all the calls made, both in audio and text, so I don't lose any detail of the call. It also allows not only calls, but also videoconferences, which makes it closer to our customers. The automatic analysis of each call, its duration and quality, allows us to improve every day the sales strategies of the department, achieving a significant increase of the same.
What do you dislike about the product?
The quality of video calls is not the best, which is an unfavorable point for the program. Its interface is not one of my favorites, as I tend to get confused to find the calls and files I'm looking for. The transcription of the calls can also be improved, as it sometimes has flaws and bad wording, which makes us lose time when analyzing them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We started using this software in the company and we have obtained immediate results in our telephone sales, since it allows us to make calls, record them and listen to them later, getting to know the strengths and weaknesses of our sales team. I love being able to write comments during the call, because it allows us to write down every detail of the call, without losing the communication.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Undoubtedly it is a software that we recommend in our organization for the results we have obtained with it. It has allowed us to recognize the funnels that we had in our calls and conversations with customers and that did not allow us to move forward with sales. Now our sales increase every month, achieving happier customers and a much more dedicated work team.

The fact that I can go through my calls and see the areas of improvement that can be made. Also, I can see the areas of conversations that I might have missed during the call.
What do you dislike about the product?
As I have been going through the Gong there is not much that I have to dislike currently, one thing that I would like to suggest is to be able to share the call directly on to my email after the call is made.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For personal growth within the industry of sales and to enhance my knowledge of business that I work with through Teleperformance and Google. I can understand what is required as an individual in driving my personal and business goals through Gong and the interaction Stats.

The transcript, my entire career I have mulled over call recordings and have had to run them into scripts, gong saved me that hassle.

Gong helps us understand opportunities in our sales process. As an executive, I like the visibility it gives me into what deals are in progress and how our team is doing.

There's a lot of tools which can feel overwhelming

Have insights to calls so we can improve our process, really helps during feedback sessions
Easy to use and highly efficient
What do you like best about the product?
You set it and forget it. Once it is working in the back you no longer have to worry about it. It simply works.

Some words are wrongly transcribed sometimes, but rarely.

What do you like best about the product?
On the surface, you'd think Gong is just a tool that records your demo/presentations. This is barely a selling point at all, but it does come in handy. What is more beneficial in my opinion is the insight it provides and how it analyzes your calls to make you a more successful salesperson. Gong is like watching a black and white TV all your life and finally having the opportunity to watch something in 4k HD. You can't go back to how you used to do it!
What do you dislike about the product?
At the moment I can't think of any dislikes, and I'm not just saying that I've racked my brain about it. I'm sure they'll continue to improve it but when they already have such a great tool everything else is just a bonus.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Instead of having to take notes, you can focus on the conversation and the discovery because you have the best stenographer in the world backing you up. If the customer wants a copy of the call that's covered. If you are curious about what you could have done better that's covered. If you want to have another teammate listen for training/feedback that's COVERED. Gong will make you realize how inefficient your old way of doing things was, and give you back more time for whatever you need.

adding new users is pricy, this is a barrier for adding CSMs

i hear much more calls becuase they have a great mobile app; i listen to the relevant ones
