What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful part of Gong is the actionable pieces of advice that they include in the email recap of the call. I actually get to apply it!
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't experienced any downsides yet!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong records my calls, and reports back to me with any promises I made to my customers.

What do you like best about the product?
I simply love having recorded calls all in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
I only dislike how many calls my company has - there are more than I could ever listen to! (I don't truly dislike this). It simply means that more of my time using Gong is spent digging through options. The paradox of choice!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong is improving ramp times by allowing new members to the team to hear how more senior leaders talk about the product and represent our values in front of customers.

What do you like best about the product?
Speaking time insights, topic breakdowns, being able to add comments to calls for coaching.
What do you dislike about the product?
Being a relatively new Gong user, I've haven't encountered anything I dislike so far.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong makes it a lot easier for my sales team to review calls and provide feedback to each other.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a no brainer tool for your sales org.

shows the ratio of prospects/ sdr/ae talking, ability to speed up or slow down

sometimes poor transcripts from call, but not a deal-breaker

being able to revisit a call and making sure its a qualified lead based off conversation

Great efficiency platform for onboarding and coaching effectiveness

What do you like best about the product?
Gong is a great onboarding and coaching tool... I can't make it to every one of my reps' calls, so I love the ability to go back and listen to calls after the fact. The verbatim transcripts are also very useful. I like that I can call out certain parts of the call to let reps know when they do an excellent job or where this is room for improvement. It's also a great efficiency tool for the reps because everything is tightly integrated w/Saleforce, so reps do not have to take the time to log their meeting notes separately - it is automated and captured for them - significantly cutting down on the administrative burden of logging activities in the CRM - freeing them up to make more calls, send more e-mails, conduct more meetings, send more proposals and negotiate more contracts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Gong is a robust tool and takes a decent investment of time to get the most out of the tool. I know there is so much more I could be/should be utilizing, but as a CRO that is pulled in many directions focusing on many competing priorities, I sometimes find it difficult to prioritize the amount of time I need to dedicate to becoming a power user.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our business is highly transactional in nature, so forecasting is often a challenge. Visibility is fairly limited as we start to look out in the future beyond the current quarter. Gong highlights the number of touch points we have with customers and alerts the sales management team when their are deals at risk - either due to lack of touch points or lack of multi-threading.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Gong is a tremendous tool and should be considered by any sales leader looking to build a best-in-class tech stack.

What do you like best about the product?
Logging "Action Items" in recordings. Very helpful!
What do you dislike about the product?
Haven't run into anything bad so far. .
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating reliable transcripts and recordings so that I don't have to focus on note-taking as much during a call.

Make Call Recaps More Productive

What do you like best about the product?
I can't say enough great things about Gong! After working in client services for 4 years and attempting to take handwritten notes on calls regarding action items, there was always the risk of things being missed or forgotten. Gong records the call and then after sends a recap that includes the action items that were discussed! Not only is this a huge time saver which gives me more time in my day to do my job, but this also ensures that any action items discussed are highlighted so I can make sure nothing slips through the cracks. Very grateful to have this tool!
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing that I can think of! Really strong tool that I'm always glad is on the zoom call with me. I would love to see more keywords flagged for the action items call out - but that can get pretty tricky and lead to more being flagged than is actually an action item...so no current changes recommended haha.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Listing out action items, being able to refresh my memory before calls, hold teams accountable for certain tasks, and outline call recaps quickly and easily to clients and other internal teams.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how not only are all your calls immediately available to reference, but they can be shared and accessed anytime. There are so many useful uses for Gong.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the mp3 link is least useful as I never seem to be able to get that to work. I'm not sure why it's there, but it doesn't affect the overall experience of using Gong for myself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can't think of any problems that Gong is having aside from the mp3 link not working. Regardless, I've never had issues with the size of the less compressed file and accessing it.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's one of the best tools for refining calls/quality control/taking notes for a call. It's a fantastic tool that many more companies should be using.

Great to Analyze Calls

What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can listen to calls at different speeds, see the call transcribed, see "take-aways" and key themes from the call. Having all of this synthesized is extremely helpful when reviewing how a call went and what follow-ups I need to take action on. The audio is great and the tool is very smart on picking up on the language.
What do you dislike about the product?
For the most part, I like everything about this tool. The only issue is that sometimes the transcription misses words or misinterprets words.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong is helping me quickly understand main themes of a call and takeaways for myself. I use the playback feature a lot in additional to the analytical portion.
