Gong is arguably one of the MOST POWERFUL sales tools ever created!
What do you like best about the product?
The transcription feature, keywords, analytics and the way you can view your recordings
What do you dislike about the product?
That I can't edit transcript - sometimes I want to copy and paste the text so being able to fix it in-app would help
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking all of my sales calls and video recordings. The keywords, topics and transcription is awesome.

What do you like best about the product?
It helps capture all the calls and video meets. Going back and reviewing the calls are made simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the calls dont appear in Gong as fast as I would like them to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me and my team to go back and review any calls or meetings to grasp the information.

What do you like best about the product?
Creates the opportunity to listen to old calls to learn from mistakes. Along with that, because of it recording the conversation I can go back and take notes afterward instead of during the conversation.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike is it takes 15+ minutes for the call to be logged in gong so if I am in a rush to listen right after the call it can put me in a kind of bind.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong is solving the problem of forgetting to take notes or forgetting what the person on the other end of the phone said after you've hung up. I do that quite a bit.

Learn the ins and outs of it to help you succeed

What do you like best about the product?
I like being able to come back into the recordings of my software demos to get clarification about future questions to ask or understand the reason behind the reason. I feel confident going into my demos knowing if I don't catch a certain word or phrase and I have already asked multiple clarifying questions, I can go back and review. what was said to try and understand a better angle to work or create a follow up email with clarifying questions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Im not really a fan of the transcripts, they are not 100% accurate as you would imagine but they are not a deterrent because you can search by key words to help find a moment in time you need to refer back to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong solves the issue of feeling like I have to write all my notes during the presentation. The recording provides relief knowing I have all the reference points to make and helps me actively listen better.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Unless you as an individual are finacially free, gong will help. In the off chance you are financially free and work just for fun but care even the slightest about your production, Gong.io is the perfect companion and stores everthing for you.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong organizes everything so well - points of interest, automatically grouping together calls with the same people... it's just great. A step above Fireflies which was my previous solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing comes to mind - it's an all-around improvement from previous solutions I've used.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Recording client calls so we can learn from them - specifically getting both the audio and video, and automatically flagging certain topics as key points to look into.

Adding recognition of different languages and their translations to the product would allow for a wider and cross-country use of the platform.

What do you dislike about the product?
Doesn't capture touchpoints and conversations that contribute to moving a deal forward outside of emails, meetings, and phonecalls. No way to add LinkedIn messages, log SMS conversations, or in person meetings which can mean missing datapoints for the AI.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sales is hard. Gong allows our sales reps to get judgement-free coaching and learn from their peers. It allows them to see what they're doing well in their conversations and what they need to improve on from a neutral perspective. It also is helping out leadership team better understand where our deals go off the rails and why, and how to differentiate them from winning deals earlier in the sales process. Basically, it helps us replicate successes on future opportunities by helping us identify what wins and what loses.
Incredible tool. Allows you to extract a lot of call reports and valuable insights for feedbacks.
What do you like best about the product?
Reports and insigths about the calls with the clients. We can understand where we are getting it right and where we can improve to be better serving our customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the links can take a while to appear in the Gong tool taking hours and sometimes days. In certain calls, parts end up being cut off, without the voices appearing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has become faster and faster to find connections through gong and more assertive. The insights extracted have helped us with feedback for sellers and improving the quality of calls.

I like how you can edit and add comments whenever and wherever you may please.

I dislike how the navigation can be a bit more confusing.

Gong is allowing me to learn more about the breadth of our deals and get more up to speed about the terminology of the industry we are in

Easy to view and update your pipeline. Provides helpful nudges like 'you might want to check in with x person' or 'you haven't discussed pricing here in 2 weeks' so you don't miss anything.
What do you dislike about the product?
I need to fill 40 characters here but there is honestly nothing not to like!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1) time spent updating pipeline, 2) visibility into true risk, 3) understanding what top performers are doing, 4) insight into my own performance, i.e. am i talking too much, asking enough questions etc?

Spend the time to learn how to use Gong and what it can do - don't just use it to watch back calls as you'll miss most of the value.
