Gong has increased my productivity
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of search functionality, ability to find keywords, action items

I haven't experienced anything I would determine as missing from this product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I lean on Gong specifically for recalling action items from calls, reviewing previous trainings, and expanding my knowledge.

I love that it joins all of my meetings and will auto transcribe everything
The search tool to go through my previous calls is also immensely helpful. I can dedicate myself to my calls 100% without having to worry about taking notes.

What do you dislike about the product?
The transcription isn't super accurate it's difficult to keyword search when it doesn't register my meetings word for word.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to take better meeting minutes and follow ups by giving myself audio cues to come back to. I'm also able to come back to meetings in months time if I need to come back to anything
Fast way to ramp up in role, super useful for those brain fog days too!

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes search isn't good, sometimes transcript isn't accurate. Some of the UI is a bit 'busy' e.g. the first page you get after searching for a call name

Ramping up in role quicker by watching others do calls I need to do

What do you like best about the product?
Gong provides me with. a fantastic way to keep track of topics discussed without the need to write copious notes on calls. As a result, I remain more engaged with prospects knowing I can always come back to a call to review an important topic or concern needing to be addressed. Furthermore, the emails detailing what follow-up was needed on calls automatically sent by Gong help ensure I'm providing prospects with the information they need in a timely fashion to decide, maintaining a cleaner pipeline as a result. Finally the ability to tag & share calls has been a great way to collaborate & ask for feedback from peers and leadership. As a result, as a remote employee, I can benefit from the collaboration typically only realized when sitting next to other reps in the office wherever I'm at.
What do you dislike about the product?
One area of improvement would be having the ability for SDR's cold outreach calls to tag the rep on the account. Having a greater vision of calls SDs are having or for them to be able to share with me a tough objection or to receive real-time updates if my SD caught a DM on an account so I can follow up quickly would be a great way to synergize our working relationship.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Occasionally a call or two will not record yet the support team has been great to restore calls or identify the issues. Benefits I've realized is greater engagement with prospects and greater organization & preparation for follow calls. Often times follow-up calls with prospects can be weeks or months apart, causing great nuggets of info to fall through the cracks of my memory. Being able to go back to my last call to listen to highlights & key notes before I meet again with prospects helps improve my organization of a relevant agenda and ensure all key points & concerns are addressed on follow-up calls. As a result, prospects feel more heard and the level of trust is enhanced as a result.

Gong is amazing and a must for any business.

Gong has always been an integral part of my development. Not only has it been a gold mine of knowledge, but it has also served as a way for me to consistently level myself up by seeking feedback.

To be honest, nothing comes to mind. Perhaps suggestions based on recent interest?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The fact that it is near impossible to not only retain all info learned but also to have a single place to refer back to when a refresher is needed. Not to mentioned it provides a clear way to seek feedback to put my development into my own hands.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Sharing Snippets is as easy as copying from the transcript. This has proved incredibly valuable mainly due to its simplicity and ease of sharing.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong allows you to fully focus your attention on what is most important, your customer! Instead of taking notes or making sure you are recording your conversation, Gong does all of this plus more. It has enabled myself and team to become better customer facing managers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Gong is awkward to use at first. It is uncomfortable watching others and yourself during what can sometimes be a highly stressful situation. However, embracing this and seeing the value overshadows this initial awkwardness and its value soon becomes present
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been able to dissect my talk tracks and interactions with partners in ways not possible before. This is very valuable and made me better at my job. It also reminds you to send a follow-up, ping someone after a few days, and reminders for upcoming calls.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This tool has a face value, but even greater value will become apparent after using it.
Uninterested in Doing My Job Without It!
What do you like best about the product?
In addition to being able to go back and refresh my own memory about past calls, I love the ability to listen to calls from others in my company. This has helped clear up / prevent misunderstandings and improve the service I can provide customers by catching up on prior calls before I jump on with them. It's also been so helpful to share snippets with team members for product conversations and roadblocks.
What do you dislike about the product?
The transcription is not always super accurate but this is a very small complaint in the large scope of what the product is able to do for me. I also find that sometimes calls aren't logged to the companies super accurately but this may be an internal issue more than a Gong issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One example - I was covering for a colleague who was on sabbatical. Some of the information I shared was said to be "the exact opposite" of what my colleague had previously told the customer. Uh oh! I was able to go back and listen to their previous call and confirm that this wasn't the case - we just worded things a bit different and I could see where the miscommunication was taking place but, fortunately, we were aligned. Without Gong, I wouldn't have been able to find the call quickly, share the snippet externally, and make sure the customer knew she wasn't getting different information from different folks.

What do you like best about the product?
Recording the call and providing a transcript has been huge for our organization. While I am not in Sales, there is so much to learn from rewatching calls that went well and calls that had opportunities. It also helps as a source of truth to see who said what and what was promised. The ability to leave comments also helps the team stay involved and call out important parts of the call. From a managerial standpoint, it also provides easy-to-digest insights about the volume of calls that each team member is conducting and contributing. Lastly, being able to snip and send the call to clients has been huge when they have people on their end who are unable to attend.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't really have any issues with Gong. sometimes the transcript isn't completely accurate, but in almost all cases the point gets across and you can always watch the actual call if the transcript doesn't make sense.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong is helping our Sales and Operations teams track deals, better understand (and remember) what each specific client wants out of our services, and have an easy to reference visual and transcripted log of what was said and when.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Easy to use. Easy to share calls. Excellent for tracking progress of clients and udnerstanding their needs and interactions with your company. A must-have for Sales and Customer Success organizations alike.
