Visibility into calls, analytics on topics, deal management and insights

Analytics can be improved, deal data and reporting

Training of sales reps, insights into deals, forecasting and looking into problematic deals

What do you like best about the product?
The insights and tools are fantastic. Gong has allowed me to better understand my habits (ie. how quickly I wait to speak before a client finishes talking) as well as helps track my deals.

What do you dislike about the product?
If you cancel or reschedule a meeting, it can be hard to add Gong back into a zoom meeting last minute if a client shows up for the call
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I love the key word indicators that alert me if a deal is ever in jeopardy because a topic such as "pricing" or "next steps" were not mentioned.
Gong is great for your Sales call//training needs
What do you like best about the product?
I like the dashboard view of Gong. It is easy to navigate between your own calls and calls from other team members. It is also helpful seeing the associated deal amount on the calls that are attached to specific deals.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think I am using Gong to its fullest capacity. This is in part of my internal management though, not necessarily the product. There is a lot we can do inside the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main benefit I retrieve from gong is call coaching and feedback I'm able to receive on recorded conversations.

10x ramp up time!
What do you like best about the product?
Thanks to Gong my ramp up time has been reduced by 10x! Listening to previous conversations has allowed me to seamlessly get up to speed with opportunities!
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing! Its amazing! The one gripe would me that I didn't have it at past companies!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Onboarding and transiting opportunities! It's allowed me to have an indepth understading of my pipeline.

What do you like best about the product?
love being able to listen back to my calls. Gong has a fantastic algorithm to tell you what works and what doesn't work. the fact that it transcribes each call is a game changer. Also they have fantastic articles.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like it if I could listen in to calls while they are being analyzed. However, if the only bad thing I can think of is the fact that I have to wait 10 more minutes to listen to a call, that's pretty good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am always working on improving my calls and I definitely wouldn't be able to do that nearly as effectively without gong. Gong has shown me what works and what doesn't.
Gong is a Necessary Tool for Customer Success Managers
What do you like best about the product?
Gong's seamless integration with our internal CRM and Gong's ability to automatically create eye-openeing stats based on call patterns.
What do you dislike about the product?
No downsides to using Gong unless you don't like have immediate access to transcribed calls and advanced call analystics at your fingertips within minutes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We no longer need to take notes on every word as we have the ability to go back and review. Gong also brings the customer to life during internal conversations as we can leverage snippets to allow colleagues to hear customer POV's first hand.
Great software for recording and managing calls
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to get Gong on calls to record them and then view and organize those recordings after the fact.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it was easier to track quotes in the tool! We would love a quote management system and Gong doesn't seem to quite be there.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're able to go back and do research on customer advocates based on calls they've had with sales teams. This allows us to understand our advocates without bugging them or the sales rep who contacted them in the first place.

tagging capabilities for each speaker and screen sharing

sometimes tagging (speaker) is inaccurate and shows the wrong speaker

Call recording and post-call review. It's easier to review past calls and understand which parts are important

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite Gong feature is the ability to search through videos using just text to find exactly what information I am looking for. This has helped me learn from my Account Executives in a more efficient way.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside I can think of from my perspective is not being to figure out which calls are the first call that has taken place with a prospect without knowing the title.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong has been a great resource when it comes to training new hires and learning from peers. Similar to Affinity it has helped us to harness our institutional knowledge to the best of our ability.

Gong is a necessity for any sales team looking to enhance their coaching and share their knowledge collaboratively and effectively.

taking notes during meetings is too challenging so gong has really assisted
