So helpful in a virtual sales environment

What do you like best about the product?
Gong has been great to listen to team member's calls to learn new product pitches, how to handle objections and move a deal along.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing I would change so far, it's been a great tool
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's great to go back and listen to my calls so I can focus on my prospect and not on taking notes. I've become a more active listener and the conversation flows better

Great tool for organizing calls/emails

What do you like best about the product?
Gong keeps a record of all calls and emails between you and a client, and organizes it by client name. I get a lot of information very quickly in meetings, so if I didn't have Gong, I would probably miss quite a bit of it in my notes. It's also a good tool for transitioning from the sales process to implementation. I can listen to the sales calls and see exactly what was promised, and what the client is looking for.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you sent an email and had a call on the same day, it's hard to see the call sometimes. That's a very small complaint, but the interface makes the email really easy to find on the page, but I always scroll past the call and it takes me a while to find it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong gives me a backup in case I miss something in my call notes. I can glance through the transcript to find the point in the call that I'm looking for. My manager can also check out my calls and gauge how I'm doing/things to work on, which makes it easier to manage people remotely.

There are so many features it can be a little much.

Great Tool for Managers

What do you like best about the product?
Since we are no longer in the office, Gong helps me stay connected with my team. I can spend time listening to calls; I like to use the speed up option to review faster. I can provide authentic coaching to my team with specific examples.
What do you dislike about the product?
No real concerns at this point. I get a daily summary of my team's calls, can search by client or rep. All good!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This tool helps with visibility. Since we are no longer in the office, this provides much-needed insights.

What do you like best about the product?
Statistics, helps me adjust my calling skills. Get to spend time with my manager reviewing calls I made to critique and refine. Get to listen to other coworker's calls for help and advice!
What do you dislike about the product?
At the moment I haven't experienced any negatives! I love Gong!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cold calling skills/ability. Outreach skills, Patience, creating a unique conversation to strike more business.

Useful tool for individual, team and org development as well as training

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to drill down and identify certain words, phrases and key products we're working on. I also like the ability to measure who does most of the talking (rep vs. client) as well as share snippets, not just full calls.
What do you dislike about the product?
Organizing into library folders can be difficult or inconsistent when it comes to visibility or sharing within cross-functional teams. I also don't like that there is a limited choice in how to scorecard or grade - 3 stars vs 5 - and no custom option for 4, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to snippet ideal parts of calls and share with trainers, new hires or other stakeholders is a big benefit. Previously we had to timestamp and have listeners scrub through to find the relevant parts of the call.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Super useful and the use cases are endless! Sign up for their sales coaching emails too - I've loved Devin's insights!

A great tool for Sales teams

What do you like best about the product?
Gong is a simple to use tool that has helped our sales teams better themselves. It also gives us an opportunity to track specific calls that mention specific keywords making it easier to find the calls we need.
The call breakdown analysis are incredibly helpful to see how much we're allowing the prospect to talk, vs how much we're talking. It even breaks it up based on the topic of each part of the conversation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Could possibly clean up the UI. Outside of that, it's a fantastic tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Without Gong, it would be incredibly hard to break down calls. Not only would that take longer, it would be incredibly manual to disect each call as well.
Most of all, it's helping our sales team grow, get better, win more deals, and schedule more calls.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong is an effective tool that provides customers and presenters with valuable insight into their shared interactions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Artificial intelligence can provide feedback on patterns within a specified user's calls and suggestions on improving those patterns with more effective alternatives. An example of this would be for a presenter that uses the um sound often. Gong could identify that usage as a potentially negative trend and suggest using actual words instead.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With so many interactions it's great to go to Gong for reminders and recall important nuances in the customer interaction. Additionally, receiving the statistics feedback is a great way to keep us accountable on our calls.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong seamlessly integrates into our workflow and tech stack. The deal analytics and recordings are invaluable for not only our revenue organization but also account management and exec leadership
What do you dislike about the product?
It requires a lot of time to build out to its' full capacity. Adding trackers, filters, folders, etc can be an arduous process and if you're a small company, this makes it challenging to get full stickiness
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our sales and customer onboarding processes have both improved substantially. We're able to be more focused on sales calls and share learnings across our entire company
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Consider whether you have the bandwidth to make folders and continually update the platform. If you're a small shop, might be too much. But if you're over 100 people and you have multiple teams and services, Gong is invaluable
