Fantastic Call Recording Tool
What do you like best about the product?
In today's remote environment where every meeting is a teleconference, the ability to record the meeting is essential.
Gong makes it super easy to record the call and provides an intuitive interface to go back and listen to the recording where you can listen to the specific participant, fast forward, and rewind.
It shows the percentage of time each participant was talking, which provide a great opportunity to fine-tune one's "air time" and be a more effective communicator

What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much to dislike but sometimes the written transcript has wrong words, although the voice comes through clearly.
I hope they put some work into that to round this product up.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Gong to record calls so that I can participate without worrying about taking notes.
The application also helps me to self-evaluate my performance/participation

Great tool for Sales Enablement
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to search for topics/themes in a conversation and/or across multiple conversations.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really don't have any complaints or issues with Gong at this time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Able to quickly identify sales, CS, and customer pain points.

What do you like best about the product?
I love to see the patience ratio. It helps in being conscious of when and how long to wait after asking a question to incorporate a power pause. I also really like seeing how you can summarize all action items for after the call the you discussed you'd send as a follow-up.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to dislike about Gong except needing to ask permission to record before the call, although this isn't something that Gong can fix and maybe making this automated beforehand. I think Gong has been great so nothing I can add to change honestly!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong fills in the need to take notes which is excellent; it allows you to listen more in the call actively. It also helps to remove filler words in conversation to sound more like a trusted advisor and less untrustworthy as a seller. It also helps provide a platform to shadow call from successful reps to improve our own processes.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
For new hires, Gong is a great place to shadow calls of successful reps without needing to sit in live.

I like that i can record my zoom calls and then use them as a training platform for myself. I also can listen to coworkrs.
What do you dislike about the product?
I cant find zoom calls the same day. I have to wait a couple days for a video to upload.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ability to record calls and zooms. This allows for easy pull up of calls and zooms to keep myself accountable.
Gong is my best friend in all Operational and Business way.

That I can see all the information gather that I can't see in Salesforce and Outreach

Nothing. Everything is perfect with Gong

Follow Up in tasks that Outreach sometimes doesn't capture in Salesforce.

The fact that they write out everything spoken on the phone calls. Allows me to pick up on things I wouldn't have caught normally.

Sometimes it can be challenging to scrub on the calls

The ability to catch things I wouldn't have otherwise.

I like that you can leave comments in certain areas of a call and send it to your manager

Nothing I can say I "dislike". I think the software is great

I find that Gong solves productivity issues. It's much easier to access my calls and send them to my manager for review

What do you like best about the product?
Gong allows the entire company insight into our clients' needs. They no longer have to take our word for it or rely on anecdotal evidence. We can ramp new salespeople in a fraction of the time while freeing up our existing team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as of now. There have been improvements in the transcript functionality which has been a win for us.

We reduced Onboarding and training time. We have pinpointed customer needs, thus conserving EPD resources more accurately.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how it's easy to use and it's really helpful in tracking information in my conversations. It enables my AEs to keep abreast of my discussion which allows for effective collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's little to dislike but i think the how it tracks accents could be improved. I love the transcript feature but it may not catch the words accurately and it becomes tedious to review the clip.

Gong solves my problem as a SDR of having to take notes while talking to prospects. This allows me to freely engage with customers to ask the right questions without worrying that I might have missed some info
