Great platform
What do you like best about the product?
Great UI, does the job. Really can't complain and I love the snippet feature to share small bits instead of the whole call. + the gong support is great if you need anything.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the audi is converted to text and some of the words arent 100% accurate depending on the speakers accent, but its still nice to have the text transcript.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to share calls within the team and use it to reference any points in meetings that we may have forgetten to write down, its a way to remember everything discussed without having to remember it personally

I like the ability for my manager to easily send me notes to help me do better.

I dislike how long it takes for a call to upload and I often forget to go back and review certain ones if it is taking too long.

I love that I can review a call and have specific notes to refer to

The points of interest on each call, analyze the call, and shows where improvement could be made.

That when I started looking at Gong the website doesn't give you pricing and you need to request it.

Team are making much better calls and we are streamlining the way our script is presented.

- Reviewing own calls: listening to what type of questions I asked, what the responses were from my clients.

- The intensity of options available to you. I think I only use 10% of everything GONG has to offer and therefore it feels like I'm not utilizing in the best way possible

Gong is great!
What do you like best about the product?
Quick access to customer calls, learning how much I talk vs. how much the customer is talking. Clean layout, easy to navigate Gong, and I love how it automatically saves calls that I'm hosting and also CC'd on.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's hard to think of anything that could be much better. I'm not sure if there is a transcript function with the ability to hit Control-F and easily find words spoken. The topics spoken also isn't always accurate, but that doesn't bother me
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Remembering topics of conversations with customers when I might have forgotten to log the next steps - easily getting this information determined and following up is efficient
Amazing tool for continuous growth
What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to have calls analyzed with keywords, overused words, repetitions, who is talking more, etc, it just really helps me learn and build better conversations with customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Make searches easier to find specific call types so you can find the calls you need faster. When we try to look up colleague calls to learn from we find it hard to use the filters to find that specific call.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
On certain calls, we have a formula for what the call should be like- for instance, should the customer be talking more during this call than the agent. We can also analyze keywords or how the conversation could have been better.

Gong gives you the ability to go back and actually listen, and learn from what you heard.

Less about Gong and more about product utilization across the team

What do you like best about the product?
What I like the most and what sets Gong apart is the ability to filter calls, the points of interest feature, highlights a section to share it easily with others, and even the overall look of the platform. It helps me go in-depth about every call and gives me the necessary tools to grade a call successfully. Also, the ability to create different scorecards for peers and having a library section where you can save important information for coaching purposes is excellent. Using Gong has improved my skills as a Quality Assurance Analyst.
What do you dislike about the product?
Something that I dislike and have difficulty getting used to, is when I write a comment and hit backspace the recording stops. Also, when I want to go up to read something without pausing the recording, it automatically drops me to where the recording is and I have to hit pause to go up again, which is very time-consuming and can be frustrating considering the fact that I have to grade many calls every day and have to deal with this issue frequently.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Many of the company requirements critical to success are manageable using Gong. If an agent misses a business requirement, we have the control of coaching the agent and do better at our jobs and responsibilities.

To learn every feature that Gong offers and take advantage of every tool to get the most out of it and be successful.
Gong.io - an Account Manager's best friend
What do you like best about the product?
Using Gong.io as an account manager, I can quickly recap the call with action items captured and understand ways to improve future calls. I can also see the open opportunities and the relationship of touchpoints with each closed won/closed lost deal.
What do you dislike about the product?
Using Assists with my desktop Outlook would be better than the Online Outlook option. I would also love to have templates in the assists to create even faster followup
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Call analytics, keeping calls MEDDIC-related and understanding the touchpoint relationships with each deal and what drives sales to a closed-won status.
Outbound SDR Manager
What do you like best about the product?
I love that gong lets me track anything I want to look for on a call quickly and that it alerts me via email, making it easier to find calls to listen to and coach reps. Just set up scorecards as well and am excited to see how these help me coach my team and for reps to listen to their calls and self assess how they did.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the emails I get can be overwhelming, but I think this is just something I need to fix and unsubscribe from specific trackers I don't need/ use for my team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can now easily coach my reps outside of 1:1 time, and I don't have to go digging through outreach to find a call - they are all served up to me in gong/email and tagged by specific things I want to track.
