Does what it’s supposed to easily
What do you like best about the product?
Review is easy, can comfortably find relevant insights from calls, sharing with colleagues is easy, integrates with outreach
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes can't find calls from the dashboard so have to search. Pretty minor issue
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've improved my pitching, learnt a huge amount from existing team members and done some really interesting pieces on optimising talk tracks
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Go for it, game changing
Could be amazing but having some minor difficulties getting the most out of it!
What do you like best about the product?
The searchable transcripts + video are by far the best things for me. I work as a user researcher, so I spend a lot of my time going back through conversations to identify themes and to pull out quotes for my reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
Gong keeps disconnecting with my calendar randomly. It's very frequent and will happen when I have a day of interviews. This means I have to record meetings myself and upload them to Gong manually, which is super time-consuming! This is happening to a bunch of my teammates too. I've written to support to ask how to stop this but have not yet heard back (I only messaged them this morning, so this is not a complaint about reply times!)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problems - immediate transcripts + a home to store all our research videos which can be easily searched. I can do my research analysis far quicker using Gong than anything I've used in the past.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the statistics that are provided for each call and that you can create libraries. Another amazing feature is the ability to make comments on specific times on calls
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not love that you are not able to make any edits to calls or things like that. Such as deleting calls that are irrelevant or not needed in order to keep your library clean
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving things I never would have realized I do on the phone because of Gong. It allows me to listen to myself and to correct mistakes I have made in order not to do them again

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Gong allows me to share snippets, collect extra context with easy transcriptions, identifies action points, allows me to review my work and get better following the insights that are shared after each discovery.
What do you dislike about the product?
There were a few small glitches when getting set-up but the Gong support team was extremely helpful. I have not found anything else worthy of disliking! I find it to be beneficial.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Working towards better sales calls with more success incrementally. Being able to share with management, training team, colleagues & even clients is invaluable.

It is worth a good look! As a SaaS user for nearly two decades, I really enjoy it.
Gong Helps Sales. Period.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that since the calls are recorded and transcribed, you can quickly review your calls after the fact and follow up accordingly. Plus, it tells you exactly where each part of the call starts and stops! Once I got over the sound of my own voice, I find that I re-listen to almost every call that I make. It helps me address every part of the call in my follow-up and ensures I am not leaving anything on the table. Plus I can playback at 1.5 or double speed so I'm not wasting a ton of time either. I also like that I can listen to the rest of my team have calls as well, and tag my manager on my own!
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't dislike anything about the platform. The app is also handy and easy to use. I would say more coaching somehow integrated into calls, or tag specific phrases to search for, etc. I would like to be able to flag phrases that I point out myself as an issue but that Gong might not necessarily. That would help me eliminate time wasters that are specific to my calls but probably aren't affecting others.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am a classic rambler when it comes to talking, and Gong has not only helped me realize that but also helped me eliminate a lot of my filler words and stories. I have realized that when I can review calls, I am much better at following up with the client. A lot of times in the past it seems I was leaving deals on the table simply as a result of poor note taking/forgetting certain topics. No longer is that a problem with Gong.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Do you want to get better at sales? Have better conversations? Eliminate phrases and words that simply waste time and lose you sales? If you answered yes to any of those, Gong is surely for you. You'll want to review your calls after having them every time!

What do you like best about the product?
Gong lets me quickly and simply get a grasp on pipeline hygiene, highlight weak deals, and allows for on the go coaching. I love the Deal view most in gong!
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much! I do wish I could trial some of the newer features for longer period of time to really get a grasp on how to implement them, but the existing product is fantastic and makes my day much easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong uplevels 1:1 coaching, supports my forecasting, and allows me to get a quick, big picture view of the sales pipeline.

I love that the alerts for trigger phrases or words. It helps me coach my team.

I wish it was slightly more user friendly.

I definitely think it opens more opportunities for coaching abilities and to tell your team what you really like about their performance. The fact that you can search specific words and phrases is a game changer.
Valuable Enterprise Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Really great post-call analysis tools and easy to implement and review during and after the recorded conversation
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing not to like other than having to announce the call is being recorded....understandable but can be akward at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong allows me to craft my pitch and know where I left questions and windows of opportunity on the table.
You can't improve what isn't tracked
What do you like best about the product?
There are very detailed insights for all my meetings. This not only keeps me organized with the meeting takeaways but it helps me improve my overall presentation skills. For example, I noticed that my 'patience' wasn't as long as I initially thought. I was talking too quickly and not waiting before customers stopped talking. This is an improvement I've made forcing me to actively listen rather than just waiting for my turn to talk.
What do you dislike about the product?
Editing the title name is essential for reference at a later date. I'm unsure if I can make the default meeting name incorporate the company name rather than just the attendee names. This would make filtering a lot easier as I sort my meetings by company name and not the person that I spoke to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The most common problem I use gong for is to rewatch meetings to ensure I've hit on all the discussed points. This has kept me more organized and allows me to see further insights into how my presentations might seem from the viewers' perspective. I feel like I'm a more effective presenter and I get more out of my time because I'm getting more accomplished in the meetings I already have.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you have recurring meetings, it's an excellent decision to work on your performance. I use Gong to look over my account review calls to ensure I give thorough responses and communicate to the best of my ability. You are not able to improve what isn't being tracked. Gong has made me a more efficient worker during my calls.
Gong has been a very helpful tool in my everyday work life and I would 100% recommend it to a friend

The most helpful tool with Gong is that you can always go back to previous calls and review them.

I honestly can't think of anything I have disliked so far while using Gong. It's very user-friendly, and I have no complaints.

The benefits I have realized with Gong are that it helps me learn from previous calls and to hear how I can improve at my job personally.
