Does the job!
What do you like best about the product?
Gong has been great so far especially for onboarding because you're able to listen to old calls for training purposes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't see the transcribed text while in full screen.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I can always refer back to old calls for help or reference.
Gong is GREAT !!!!!! Very strong tool. 1 thing to improve tough - see video on mobile (Iphone)

Allow all people in the company to take part in the company business. I am a developer, and it helped me a lot.

A great tool in support of our implementation team.
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to share existing calls with new hires, other team members, and our design team is invaluable. We don't have to worry about slowing down our conversations to ensure we've captured every single note. With Gong, we can summarize after the call and share the recording with our customers and our team members. When a customer tells us about an enhancement they would like to see in the platform, we can tag our design team directly in the call so that they can hear it in the customer's voice.
What do you dislike about the product?
My only recommendation for improvement would be enhancing the search capabilities as it relates to recordings already in the system. Our team will sometimes need to run multiple searches using different phrasing to find the call we are looking for. This is a minor nit to pick, given the immense value Gong has brought to our team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Memorializing client requirements, design enhancements, knowledge transfer to existing and new colleagues. As a smaller company, we've been able to leverage our best recordings as a training tool for new hires.
A great tool for client facing roles
What do you like best about the product?
It's amazing how much Gong can help. I had never been able to review my calls at my last company, and I think this has helped me get up to speed much faster.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that the client/prospect can see that we are recording the call, but I completely understand why this is necessary. I just think it can come off as a little strange that we're recording them. If I were in their shoes, I might feel weird about that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to work on how I pitch the service to prospects. I can watch to see how others do this, but also analyze my own calls to see what needs work and what doesn't.
Amazing tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can quickly review prior calls with prospects to make sure I didn't miss anything. The automated emails reminding me of upcoming calls with links to prior calls is also super helpful. Being able to listen to other colleagues' calls as I ramp at my new company has been very valuable, and also the metrics that show me what "topics" I've hit on and the percentages associated with them against my peers is a great benchmark and insight into what I need to improve on.
What do you dislike about the product?
When you are sharing a snippet of a call I don't believe that you can share multiple snippets at the same time. I think you need to share one snippet, go back and do the task again to grab the other snippet etc. Perhaps this has been fixed, but I don't think I've been able to do that. You could of course send an external email and include multiple snippets, but not within the sharing directly in Gong.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being organized for calls with prospective clients primarily, and learning from other reps/leaders in our company without having to schedule 1:1 time with them directly. If you see that a deal has been closed that is similar to a company you're working with, it's very easy to just go to the list of those calls to listen and see what similarities there are and what talk tracks really moved the needle.
Gong is amazing for self reflection.
What do you like best about the product?
I love how quickly I can listen to my interviews once they are completed. I also like that they are all stored in one place which makes it very easy to access and review.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't really have any dislikes with Gong. So far my use of Gong has been a positive experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As someone who does many video interviews I am learning how to look back on how much I am talking as well as see words that I use entirely too much and correct myself to benefit my company.

Great tool for coaching and self reflection.
This is the best recorded call software I've ever used!

I love the call topic breakdown and the transcribe feature

i can't (easily) find calls where i conference in colleague before calling client
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
seeing how much time i spend on each call topic, helping me reduce time spent on unneccesary topics to reduce my total call times

I like the analytics of calls and where improvements can be made.

I have yet to find anything that I dislike!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am finding where lulls in conversation/sales pitches happen the most. I have become more self-aware of my own talk time spent on a call.
Gong is a must have!

Sometimes the transcripts can be inaccurate.

We are improving our Sales Enablement and customer feedback on our products and services.
Can't work without it
What do you like best about the product?
I love the library of my calls that I can review at high speed before my follow-ups. Gong allows me to relive my calls so I never miss a beat.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is sometimes slow to transcribe calls. Zoom calls are transcribed faster but they're not as accurate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong allows me to run a sales motion with 35+ different ops in a given month. I couldn't imagine working so many different motions without it.
