Helpful for Entry-Level BDR

What do you like best about the product?
Gong allows me listen to my teammates calls who have been a BDR for over a year. Through this I take notes so I am prepared to make cold calls of my own and know what to say when calling someone for the first time.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much I dislike about the product. What I do like is the dialouge it provides so I can read along during the call - I will say that not all the words are accurate during the calls. This is not a bad thing as I can make out what is being said from the miswritten words.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
What I am solving is as an entry level BDR - from not knowing what to say during a cold call to actually knowing how to go about one is key.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to easily search for videos and then review them quickly, in addition to seeing all the parties on the call and jumping to each speaker.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found something I dislike yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For our team it allows us to review each other's calls before jumping into a call with a client that we haven't met with yet.

Most valuable tool in the pandemic

What do you like best about the product?
I joined my company in the pandemic, and as an account executive, I rely on listening to the soundbites of my peers. If I could only choose one training tool, Gong would be it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it was more clear what was being said to our customers when they joined a meeting, and how to turn it off, etc.

What do you like best about the product?
Before Gong, I struggled taking clean notes during meetings and almost always missed important info. Now I focus on being fully present in client conversations, then get an accurate transcript of the essential bits after the call.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly there isn't really anything to dislike. This is a great sales intelligence tool with multiple purposes across the board. Would recommend to anyone in a heartbeat.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using Gong for overall sales intelligence through various features: note-taking, automated meeting transcript, reviewing my talk ratios and refining my calls by reviwing each segments individually. The deal management feature helps me organize my pipeline and follow up appropriately, with action-items recommended by gong after every call.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong enables sales teams to onboard their new hires faster and help all team members learn from each others. On top of that, leadership can review pre-recorded calls and help their members learn and grow by giving constructive feedback.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think there's more room to grow when it comes to the user experience of the platform. In addition to that, I occasionally experience technical issues listening into my peers' calls.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an IC in sales, it helped me onboard faster by listening to other team members' calls. I learn faster and become more experienced presenting product demos to my clients.

What do you like best about the product?
At the beginning, I was reluctant to have my meetings recorded, but now I don't want to have a meeting without Gong. The highlights for me: 1) It allows to review any detail from the call that I may have missed. 2) The recording can be shared internally when it's relevant for other teams. 3) Transcriptions are pretty accurate (this has improved recently), which helps to go straight to the point when quickly reviewing a call. 4) Review my own meetings and use the coaching tool to check what can be improved.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great to see everyone who has been in the meeting in the recording and not only the speaker.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1) If I have a new meeting with a client I met some time ago, I can go back to the recording and refresh exactly how our interaction was and what was said. This causes a great impression on the clients. Even if I've taken manual notes, it's not the same as having the full recording.
2) As I'm not working in my native language this is super useful to review details that may have been lost during the meeting.
3) Being able to share the complete meeting (instead of just biased notes) with a colleague involved in the next steps of the negotiation.
4) I'm able to review my meetings and look for things to improve. I can see my colleague's meetings and learn best practices from others, check how they handle objections and more.

What do you like best about the product?
I can always go back and listen to Gong recordings to see where I can improve my sales approach and refresh my memory on previous calls before making my next one
What do you dislike about the product?
Would love if calls could be logged a bit more quickly so that I can listen to the recording. Sometimes, they can take a while to register and become available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've been able to clean up some of my "talk tracks" on outbound cold calls and it takes away the need to write detailed notes on the phone, because I can always come back and reference the conversation.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Anyone in the sales industry should get Gong to improve their skills on the phone and generate more revenue.

easy to train new hires and share information/tips, to coach, to bring awareness to leadership about customer needs.

the site is a little clunky and not easy for team leaders.

What do you like best about the product?
It auto records calls with prospects and transcribes the calls. Also love the library feature so reps can listen to calls/snippets easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
The deal section needs some enhancements, calls are analyzed by host vs speaker, and more analytics on each rep would be valuable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
AE talk ratio and quotations asked have been very helpful. Also, being able to use the transcriptions and gong library have helped with coaching.

Get it!
