Solid system to get to the heart of phone calls

What do you like best about the product?
The Transcripts are very helpful I can read and find the right points in a video to get to the issues I need to listen in on
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the transcripts were more accurate

Being able to consistently review meetings in one easy to navigate repository is wildly helpful

What do you like best about the product?
1. It makes it a breeze to share call recordings with prospects and customers.
2. You can set up automatic alerts when next steps are not identified or if a competitor's name comes up.
3. It tracks your stats such as Call Duration and Talk Ratio that help me identify how I can improve my communication.
What do you dislike about the product?
Every day I get an email from Gong showing me my pipeline at risk and reasons why it's at risk. I dislike this because it shows me that my pipeline isn't always as how I imagine it is; in reality, I like this feature a lot, but it just hurts sometimes knowing that I'm not perfect ;)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the main problems is that I don't have to perform multiple demos; if a prospect would like to showcase the demo to their boss, they just share the recording and come with questions for our follow-up meeting. This allows for more productive meetings instead of repeating things that have already been shown. I've also benefited from the Deal Board; during my 1:1's with my manager, we pull it up and run through my open pipeline and strategize on next steps.

Ability to see hotspots and jump to individual convos more quickly

Gong is ANOTHER app/site to be used on a day-to-day basis.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Wasted time sifting through calls or listening to entire calls for one snippet of interest

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to listen to my sales calls, and capture notes that I might have missed when listening to the call live.

Listening to calls from other sales people helps my learning experience as well. Great for onboarding

I also like sharing calls that went well externally with the client
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much

the Intel is very valuable

Sometimes it can be hard to view info on the mobile app, otherwise I view everything from the laptop

Searching for keyworks could be a little more user friendly
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Faster onboarding

Learning talk tracks at a faster rate, being able to share a solid demo with a client is great

I am more productive this way as its a better way to learn about the product I am selling

Much better UX than Chorus

What do you like best about the product?
Gong's user experience is very well-designed, at least when compared with Chorus. Navigating settings is a great example. But the their integration with Salesforce is far superior - that makes it much more useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Haven't found many downsideds, TBH. It defaults to sending too many email notifications, but that is easily fixed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are mostly using it for sales coaching, and helping newer members of the team listen in to what works. That has helped them get up to speed fast. As a sales manager, I also find the integration with Salesforce and email very helpful for monitoring the "pulse" of our interactions with prospects.

What do you like best about the product?
Gongs onboarding team and the resources available on the gong academy/help center are extremely helpful when starting out with Gong! I am extremely happy with the ability to have targeted deal insights directed to both individuals and the team level for my organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user profile setup could have a bit more options available to set up different internal departments in the system but overall everything is smooth sailing!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using gong to have better insight into "what good looks like" for sales and our product teams. Gong is a great way to coach and track the success of new sales methodologies, playbooks, or initiatives rolled out. We also love to use it as a tool to keep our product teams informed of what customers are asking for in new feature sets! Great way to hear exactly what our customers are asking for, in their own words - literally!

What do you like best about the product?
Provides a detailed transcript of every call you have with a customer so nothing is missed. It follows up on action points and lets you listen to any call.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can misinterpret come words, names and names.

Being able to transcribe everything that is needed

What do you like best about the product?
I like Gong, as it helps to mind map the client and what happened during the call, as to pick up on the little details of the meeting. The AI capability highlights key phrases of the conversation to be used for reference later in the close or transaction of the deal.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like to see this software work with our CRM to make references to the notes and history of the account. I believe this can be a simple change and leverage the excellent housekeeping when it comes to account management.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem solving comes into the zoom session, referencing crucial parts of the meeting and allowing for voice inflection, important words, and driving to a next step, solution, and close. The training benefits are wonderful as well, allowing the opportunity for all to understand and hear a good call with the clients.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a try and see how you like it, as it may increase your sales awareness!

What do you like best about the product?
I've been amazed at how quickly our team has adopted the tool and started using it regularly. I think that's a tribute to the quality of the tool and it's relative ease-of-use. I have enjoyed the reporting tool and the automated notifications, personally. I also like the volume and granularity of the data available.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found anything I don't like about the tool yet. It has quickly become one of my favorite tools in our sales tech stack.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong has opened us up to a level of visibility that we simply haven't had before, which was a severe limitation as we grew and scaled the sales team. We can easily review meeting recordings, share them amongst the team, and leverage actionable data from calls. We also have better insight into areas for improvement on the team while enabling us to step up our sales coaching abilities.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Trial it if you can to ensure adoption but it's an extremely powerful tool and touches many facets of the business.
