Gong - the best thing you don't know you need
What do you like best about the product?
I loved not having to take notes during meetings! I could really focus on my conversation with my client and trust that Gong would be there if I missed a followup or needed to review my conversation.
What do you dislike about the product?
At first I was unsure if Gong would be used to micromanage my performance, but my leadership was very careful in how they used the software and it ended up being great. I think Gong did a good way of training my internal team on usage so there wouldn't be a fit-issue. I'm not crazy that it auto-starts in calls (mostly because sometimes I would pause it and forget to re-start) but I think that might be an individual feature my org enabled.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We integrated Gong to keep reps more focused on their conversations rather than note taking, so convos would seem more genuine and engaging as we pivoted to completely-remote-work. The benefits are decreased mental load on our reps and the ability to share conversations internally via a simple link, rather than having to recount them later on.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend orgs with high-impact sellers integrate Gong after a thorough training of why it's being implemented and how it can assist large teams. I would recommend piloting it with a small group and then sharing out learnings, especially if your org is unfamiliar with a call-tracking-software.
Just what we needed
What do you like best about the product?
Gong has been a great resource for our company. The call intelligence and transcripts mixed with the search function allow me to analyze calls faster than ever and really get an understanding of what our customers are looking for and how our team is servicing them.
What do you dislike about the product?
We had a little trouble early on connecting it properly to our CRM as we do a lot more B2C selling rather than B2B. The B2B integration with CRMs is super easy, but it takes a little more work with the B2C.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're understanding our pain points faster and easier than before. This allows us to make quicker decisions from the data that helps our business continue to grow.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use. I'm able to scroll through a recording and find relevant sections of customer conversations
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't dislike the tool. The support team is responsive when I have an issue.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to review calls and e3nhance my notes, and pass the customer's message precisely as intended. Also, it makes training A LOT easier. I also love the ability to send my customers the calls that we had for a refresher as well as show the product team issues that our customers have had.
What do you dislike about the product?
The new AI tools are amazing! I think there is a bit more that can be done for account-wide searches/prompts rather than just call-specific searches.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Training is a lot easier as you can show examples to new hires. Giving internal feedback using customer feedback. Coaching and mentoring other team members that have are customer facing. Call summarization.

I'd 100% recommend for sales and customer experience communications.

What do you like best about the product?
Love Gong - it is the best way to provide real-time feedback to my team in CS. It is a game-changer product for anyone in a go-to-market function.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish I could leave responses offline - I often listen to Gong on the go (even on airplanes!)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Coaching, giving feedback, training/team onboarding, understanding client concerns, and pain points. It helps me stay close to my team and make sure they have the tools they need to be successful.

What do you like best about the product?
Collaborating between teams makes each day much easier. We have so many calls with customers and the ability to upload and track all our calls is great. Training and onboarding become easy when we can share all relevant info via recorded calls.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the service can be slow to load and customers have expressed confusion when navigating the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Its a great product.

The ability to search for a specific phrase in a call and see all instances of that phrase.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that the shared call recordings expire after a default 5 days. Having to go into the settings and increase that time limit sucks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes it easier for customers to find answers to questions they have about our calls, without having to contact us.

The flexibility and intuitive nature of the platform. The information and resources I need are easy to locate and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd love to see more product training or human interaction from the team via emails or webinars.

Easier way of tracking and coaching
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy you can track the calls and leave a feedback on scorecards; Also possibility to track calls with key words; stats on progress and perfect for Sales!

Nothing so far that didnt help out. I think the app is amazing and very easy to use. All the reports can be edited which makes it even easier to update or track!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Coaching a team f 15 sales reps; sending feedback; improving calls to pitch; pitch to close; increasing deals sold; tracking progress of reps, tracking call reviews with Team Leads! Perfect for sales
