Gong as a personal assistant
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to review my meeting transcription while hearing and viewing the recording. The transcription tool increases my productivity for capturing meeting notes with greater clarity. Yes, it is not always accurate. However, I can quickly locate a specific area in the recording while reading the transcription.
What do you dislike about the product?
The transcription is not always accurate, so I can't rely on the transcription only to understand what happened in the meeting. However, I can quickly locate a specific area in the recording while reading the transcription and listen to the recording.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My team and I are helping our customers migrate to a new platform. Gong helps us to keep the appropriate communication with our customers.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong has helped me to understand my verbal habits (filler words, word overuse, etc.) and adjust accordingly with each client call.
What do you dislike about the product?
The annotation isn't always very accurate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solving how to better communicate with clients as well as providing my manager with my wins and areas of improvement

What do you like best about the product?
I love all the data that comes along with the calls. It is super helpful for training and becoming a better CSM.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that I wish it did was covert the calls a little quicker, but I understand that takes time and it is not a big deal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Because we are able to record our training sessions, we are saving time because if one of our clients misses it they can always go back and rewatch it. It is super helpful.

* Being able to listen back to calls on 2x the speed and skip to parts of the conversation where a prospect is speaking to make notes and flag action items quickly.
* Gong is also great for training as you can use detailed filtering to find calls at a specific part of the sales process (ie. discovery) and learn from colleagues.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the text transcriptions are not always entirely accurate; it's a minor thing, but if that improved, that could save even more time writing call summaries.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
* Better active listening on discovery calls as you know you can always listen back for non-crucial info after the call.
* Stronger email summaries and action items following a call.
* Faster onboarding by being able to listen to calls from colleagues.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try it out first, and make sure to connect your CRM so you can track calls within accounts and during different points of the sales process.

The option to split by a speaker is incredible.

No option to skip forward in 15 sec. That would be great.

Very friendly UI, easy to use! Having the statistic per call is great.

What do you like best about the product?
They email too many times and it does not do the function that we are paying it to do

We are solving our sales team gaps. We can now understand trends that work and what emails do not catch attention of its readers. A lot of areas of improvements on how our sales reps are executing their calls came from Gong.

Not being able to jump 15sec (for example) forward - you can only jump forward to the next speaker.

I can easily share call cases with all the team, or specific reps. Also it is easy to give a feedback and have control about how many call I've listened

Revisiting recorded calls gives more insights than simply reviewing the outcome.
What do you dislike about the product?
The quality of the recordings; there are a lot of instances where it cuts/ is distorted.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Improving performance: GONG allows me to reformulate pitches, intros/outtros, and voice mails, over time.

What do you like best about the product?
I don't need to be typing notes, and I can focus on the call at hand. It also provides a detailed, searchable summary of the call for copying and sharing out the transcript. I can organize the calls I have with customers into their specific folders for reference in the future.
What do you dislike about the product?
As I work in a very technical field, some words come across misconstrued as something else; however, reading the paragraph, it is easy to decipher what was said.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am capturing finer details of sales calls, including business challenges and technical issues customers have.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
AI dictation accuracy still needs a bit of work but gets the job done.
