Best Sales Insights Tool.
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is so intuitive we barely have to train our new reps on how to use it, but my absolute favorite aspect is the tracking functionality. No other tool has as much tracking ability as Gong.
What do you dislike about the product?
The one thing I don't love is editing the Trackers for what our sales reps are speaking to on the call. It's slightly difficult to account for every aspect of the business that we want to track.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The questions we answer with Gong are "What are good reps talking about?", "What are the conversations like leading up to a closed-won opportunity?", and "Are our Reps struggling to talk on a specific talking point?"

What do you like best about the product?
Gong is one of the best tools I've used because it takes self-improvement to a whole new level. Not only are you able to access any calls you want, but you get a complete transcript and breakdown of the tool. Your ability to improve at your calls is in your own hands. Being able to listen to a co-workers calls is a great way to reflect on how you've been handling your own calls. It's an excellent feedback loop that doesn't require a manager explaining how you can improve your calls.
What do you dislike about the product?
Calls sometimes take a while to appear. I like to listen in on my higher-up calls, which can take a bit before the system displays it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Self improvement is a huge bonus. But also being able to follow a customer's journey from the beginning to the end of their experience is also important, and this tool allows us to do just that.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's worth it. If you want to see an improvement in your calls, this is the easiest way to review and monitor yourself as well as compare yourself to others.

Gong has been very helpful for me in my work. It's saved my bacon many times

What do you like best about the product?
I like the talk rate percentage the best. It is known as best practice not to have a talk rate above 75%, so it helps you reflect on how much talking you are doing versus listening.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wouldn't say I like how it does not always capture who is speaking; if it is an all org zoom call, it cannot factor in many people getting confused with who is talking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving the problem of forgetting what actionable items I promised on a call. Gong makes it easy and even creates a checklist and bolds the actionable items, so you don't forget.

What do you like best about the product?
Gong is a very easy-to-use software. It took me little time to become, what I consider to be, an expert in the software.
What do you dislike about the product?
The analytical capabilities of Gong lack a little. I would like to see more reporting and dashboarding capabilities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the biggest problems I have solved is realizing the value (or lack of value) that sales reps provide on the phones. I have been able to push recommendations through Gong data to help drive more meaningful conversations between customers and sales reps.

My advice would be to truly understand what you are looking to find as an organization. With that information, you can better understand if Gong is the right fit.

Functionality of both the recording and transcript. Tagging people and things are very helpful

Nothing. They are continuing to improve the platform, which is all you can ask for

Keeping track of feature requests, customer issues, and sales opportunities. Helps to confirm notes and feedback

What do you like best about the product?
I love how i am able to review my calls and be provided with feedback from my peers. It's great to hear my own intonation and articulation and to reflct on how i can do better. I appreciate how i can use it on my ios phone too!
What do you dislike about the product?
Would be nice to have a gong app! It would be really helpful when listening and walking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To reflect on how I'm communicating with my customers, and to have my manager provide feedback for me is extremely helpfu. The analytics are really helpful too!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
An IOS APP would be immensely helpful. Some way to download calls to listen to them without data as well.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that Gong allows you to listen to calls I have made. Gong shows the name of each person talking and allows you to see what you did well in a sales call and what you did poorly. Gong also allows you to watch the video of the sales call. It is a great tool to help you improve your sales calls.

There isn't anything I dislike about Gong it is a great tool to improve on your sales calls.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong allows me to become a better sales rep. I am able to see how I reacted to objections from the prospect and improve my tone and pitch.

Automated transcript and easy-to-access recordings.
What do you dislike about the product?
Transcripts sometimes have typos, but generally, work well in English.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I love never losing track of what has happened, it really powers me to provide a better service to our customers. There is no more information lost and that is the biggest benefit for me and my team. Also, we can review each other's work and make comments to improve the team from learning from each other successes.
