Great platform!
What do you like best about the product?
Going back and listening to my calls allows me to find different areas of improvement and what went well, ultimately helping me become a better professional

Nothing comes to mind of something that could use some improvement at this point

Forgetting essential details that a customer shared with me during a call. Revising a call helps me write more robust recap emails with significant next steps
A MUST-have for sales & development
What do you like best about the product?
Gong provides automatic transcripts of calls - no more note-taking. Allows you to analyze what you did well/could do better (i.e use of filler words, disco questions, talk ratio, etc.) as well as view your colleague's calls.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've hardly scratched the surface yet, so not a whole lot. Sometimes the transcription is slightly off, but not to the point where it hinders comprehension.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems I'm solving are regarding my role as an Enterprise BDR. The benefits include analytics, insights, suggestions, and articles being sent to my inbox so I can better my sales skills and overall development.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The platform is easy to use but powerful, so take it one step at a time to maximize learning and use.

There's nothing really to dislike. The video doesn't lie so it just super helpful.

I'm solving my words/expression on camera with clients and also having video intelligence to use later.

Gong is easy to use for front line teams, management, and cross-functional teams as well.
The pulse reporting makes it easy to keep tabs on the business without needing to spend hours mining for data in the platform.
The keyword reporting for competitors, pricing, objections, you name it... absolutely critical to incorporate as you evaluate and improve your messaging.

What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that Gong.io could integrate with e-mail to measure that data on top of phone calls.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are getting Product and Marketing much closer to the market (customers and future customers).

Perfect for self reflection
What do you like best about the product?
The playback & commenting capabilities. It's a great way to self-reflect & learn. Also, it's easy to obtain feedback from my peers.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not the most straightforward interface to navigate initially. It took a couple of weeks to get comfortable on how to locate specific calls or listen to calls conducted by peers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to analyze my verbiage within conversations to ensure I'm direct in my interactions. Upon searching, I've found many beneficial tools within the Gong Labs & Gong Community to build my sales skills.

What do you like best about the product?
The feature I use most is sharing calls to my manager at the click of a button, with comments to give context for the call, what I think I did well on, and where I would like the most criticism. As someone who likes to freestyle his script, I want to ensure that I do not miss anything important. The fact that gong gives me visual cues for what I was talking about at any point in the conversation makes it easy to go back and review specific parts of my call.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have many criticisms of Gong at all. It would be great to use Gong on my cell phone somehow, but I believe that may be a limitation placed by my employer. I cannot honestly say I have ever reached out to Gong about this particular feature. Otherwise, most calls upload fine, and I Gong does a good job filtering out garbage calls like spam and non-sales calls. I do not know if this is a feature, but it helps keep things clean.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In the past I have had issues with printers, which require a recording of the customer asking for it specifically. With Gong I have been able to pull the transcript and search for keywords like "printer" "bluetooth" "Reciept" etc. This has made it easy to go back to my calls and find only the important parts of the call necessary for the printer request.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure to take advantage of the transcript. Control+F "Umm" "Like" "MM" and other little things that we don't usually pay attention. Eventually you will find yourself using these terms less and less, improving how confident you sound on the phone.
Must have in Post covid era for people in client facing roles who engage with client on Zoom calls.

Auto Reminders - Like if you said that you'll share a doc with the client - Gong will remind you about that

The transcription can be improved as sometimes is not correct.

have a plan in place to use Gong beyond just call recordings. The AI piece seems powerful but it may take some time to really get into the complex ways you can use Gong to get better as a sales rep

The insights provided are fantastic. It allows you to tweak your sales ability to improve. The data certainly helps you be aware of what you're strong at and what needs work.

The transcript isn't always accurate and the breakdown of sections within a call can differ from time to time.

Improving my sales skills and the ability to go back to a call and re-listen for things I may have missed initially.
