Easy to call recording and insights

What do you like best about the product?
How it seamlessly integrates with video conferencing software, and that it will automatically record the call. A simple link easily shares it with the customer.
What do you dislike about the product?
The configuration setup took a little more time than I would like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Training - as a new hire it is great for me to shadow my colleagues at scale and easily.

Swiss Army knife for onboarding, sales training & creating repeatable sales processes

What do you like best about the product?
Gong is a great tool for sales training & onboarding. The personalisable call rating and feedback functionality are great for general feedback. The use of #hashtags is great to highlight common trends, important learning moments and for us to share knowledge. The ability to easily share timestamps means it is possible to send snippets to the sales rep or colleagues, with comments or highlight key moments for future reference. The analytics, stats and automated identification of key moments is incredibly effective to identify winning behaviour or common/recurring issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great to be able to customise Gong on a personal or team level, rather than just as an organisation (especially to allow for regionalities).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong is part of our onboarding process, enabling new reps to listen to 'best practice' client meetings and demos. Gong reviews are a critical part of our ongoing training include p2p training and in group sessions. Marketing uses Gong to listen to client calls to get a line of sight of gaps and opportunities in messaging, value props and assets.

Helps keep me on track

What do you like best about the product?
Every customer-facing meeting is recorded. I can go back to review my notes and ensure proper follow-up. I can also listen to my colleagues' meetings to learn from their best practices and prepare for my own meetings. Listening to past meetings with new accounts helps me get up to speed and understand the current play.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found anything I don't like. Very easy to find the recordings I need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've noticed that my meetings notes aren't always accurate. I can go back to make corrections and fill in the gaps.

My sales calls have improved dramatically

What do you like best about the product?
The system is easy to use. I like that it shows me what action items to take after my call. If I tell a client I am going to send them follow up documents, the system reminds me what I need to send them.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a lot to the system. Sometimes I don't know where everything is because it can do so much.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My calls are much more efficient. I have improved my talk time ratio. I was talking too much on my calls and needed to ask more questions and listen more. I have improved my calls so much from the feature in Gong that shows me my talk time ratios. My calls have improved, and I am having better conversations with clients.

Straight Fuego!! Great for AE's and above but not so much for BDR's

What do you like best about the product?
I love what Gong is able to do for each sales role. Account Executives can learn how to close by watching portions of their recorded sessions and BDR's can learn what what to say when booking demos because they can use data about what others like the most about their companies in their calls. It's also great for CSM's because they can also use that data when they are onboarding to create evangalists. It's a win-win-win! I also like how others can label parts of their calls so if they want to highlight on the closing portion or the discovery portion all of that is possible.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is known to be expensive but for good reason. It's a quality product but for smaller businesses or startups it can be a hard opportunity cost to consider. It can also be inaccurate with those who have accents that aren't English, for example we have a few people whose first language wasn't English and the AI struggled to give accurate scores to their efforts. As a BDR there isn't much for us other than data and data isn't always shared with us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems that Gong is solving especially with our sales team is that we are able to close better and ask better questions. It helps BDR's know what is important to clients because we can use broad approaches to colder contacts about what they might like most based off of data.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would consider Gong as an investment. One that can go well if necessary and costly if you're too small or if it doesn't make sense for your goals with your sales team and what you would like for them to accomplish.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to analyze your calls/demos by seeing things like filler words, discovery questions, and stats is extremely powerful. Within the stats I am able to see the timing metrics as well like- talk ratio, patience, interactivity and monologue. This is very helpful when looking back on what I could have done better. I can then work on improving whatever I need to on future calls.
What do you dislike about the product?
Creating custom filters. I feel that this process could be easier within the UI.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reviewing notes from a call can be challenging, especially when the call happened more than a few weeks prior. Gong allows a complete review with powerful visualizations and metrics so that nothing is missed. The primary benefit that I have realized is the time savings and a thorough review of calls versus taking tedious notes.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you or your company works through online demos and/or sales in general, Gong is a must for call intel and improvement.

I don't have many complaints, it's easy to use and the visual features are super helpful.

Gong helps me visualize transcripts from calls, helps me remember what was discussed, shares good calls with other team members and helps me learn from other team members calls.

What do you like best about the product?
Very user friendly. Sound quality is impeccable. Love the ability to make notes at specific time points in the call.

Wish there was a way to have people in CA agree to have the calls recorded.

The ability to coach and be coached in a more specific and seamless way.
