What do you like best about the product?
Reviewing my calls - and the word cloud to make sure you don't say the same small words all the time.
What do you dislike about the product?
If paused for too long you have to refresh the page and start over to find your place again.

Fine-tuning my presentations! Sharing the calls w/ customers for their own education and review.
Amazingly Helpful Software
What do you like best about the product?
The multitude of tracking options. The capabilities are truly endless.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, the only downside to the software is the learning curve. They have tons of people to help and walk you through, which is a plus. There is just a little bit of a familiarization period because there really is SO much to see/do.

Keeping team members on track and getting to the root of the problem with training

What do you like best about the product?
I love that the Gong notetaker enters the call automatically with the option to remove it. I also love the automatic email I receive after a call has ended with a link to my call.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes playback is spotty but that's the only dislike I have

Since I know I can go back and listen to a call, Gong is helpful in allowing me to be totally present with customers at the time of the call.

Highly recommend Gong, especially for Sales Reps as it's invaluable in helping with the sales cylce

This might be a product suggestion: be able to record a phone call using the mobile app.

When comes to the desktop app it is extremely user-friendly, at my company we use the value selling methodology.
Therefore it is necessary to send a mutual plan letter to the customer after the discovery call and the transcripts proposed by gong make the process seamless.

I enjoy how fast the system works, and I appreciate how collaborative the program is!
What do you dislike about the product?
I do wish there was an easier way to get to my calls and quickly see my performance without having to click around.

I can gain feedback in real-time from my manager.

Dive in, do the market research on other systems out there, none offer everything Gong does.

I like the transcription feature the best, really good and impressive - very accurate

Somewhat complex on the surface, steepish learning curve

Sales pitch problems, focus during a pitch and answering the customers pain point. This makes it easy to find relevant info about accounts as well

Good product, sales team was aggressive and onboarding has been lackluster, but core product is good

I'm given time back in my day to not need to participate in meetings to understand the pulse of our sales pipeline or the health of our customer accounts

I'd like there to be better support (ability to chat when you can't quickly find something in the knowledge base) and the sales experience was offputting, as was the onboarding and approach to team training.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Less aggressive sales, felt like I was taken on a journey from someone reading from a book, same with onboarding. Understand what your customers need to have success and help them achieve it. Nothing peeves me more than screen shares where I'm told to do things or I ask a question and I'm driven to the knowledgebase without guidance. Better integration or support with Google Meets (if it isn't Zoom, the gong team wasn't as confident in their answers).

I love all the metrics and data points it's able to give on each call!

Video, as well as audio of a zoom call, is saved for future use. This is very helpful for the new hires of a client-facing company.

I wish the filters are more accurate. As in team members, topics, year, month, etc.

It is an excellent tool for new hires to refer to past calls and learn how to drive a client-facing presentation. Also, it is an excellent self-learning tool.
