Gong is great!
What do you like best about the product?
Sorting through specific people within a meeting. Especially helpful when there are multiple attendees
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing I have yet found that I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am trying to review calls from my peers to better learn the product
Not just a tool for the Sales team...
What do you like best about the product?
call analysis and the ability to mark up calls and provide feedback to the team.
What do you dislike about the product?
We weren't a huge fan of Gong not being compatible with GoToConnect services this required us to do a fair amount of systems changes in order to fully utilize Gong services.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
problems we are solving include: call analysis and keyword searching through multiple reps calls to find identifiable trigger words.
Best way to upskill when starting a sales role remotely - Highly recommend Gong!
What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to analyze a call from it.
I've recently started remotely in my new role, and Gong has made it easy to understand, from all the calls recorded, how the top performers go about their calls, their questioning, and their sales process in a way I wouldn't have been able to do it before.

What do you dislike about the product?
Analytics could perhaps be easier to understand but might be just because I am new to the platform and still getting used to it. Also, I'd say there are sometimes many notifications via email but this might also be because I haven't looked at deactivating them
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm new to my role and started remotely so it's invaluable to be able to listen to my colleague's calls.
I'm already using many of the techniques of my most experienced colleagues on calls because of building a habit to listen to at least one Gong call every day.
One other thing I've started doing on my spare time is listening to my own calls as well. It's impressive the benefit that this can bring, I have no idea of many fillers I add into the conversation, and certainly believe it has made me a much better communicator.
My manager also uses Gong on a weekly basis to give me feedback on my calls, which I consider crucial right now as I'm still ramping up in my new role

Training, Messaging Tweaks, Learning, Connecting... What doesn't Gong do?
What do you like best about the product?
The best part about Gong would have to be the interactive feedback feature. This feature helps my team and I learn from each other's wins and mistakes. It also helps us to sharpen skills and prepare for future roles. It's a great place to work shop and tweak messaging, and even sometimes, have a laugh. Second, AI call breakdown makes it quick and easy to find what you need in a call. At an even more basic level, it's just nice to have a catalog of every call I make.
What do you dislike about the product?
You call me out for talking too much 🤣 It's hard to find a legitimate dislike, but I'd say sometimes it can be a bit slow to upload my calls from Sales Loft. Also, fewer restrictions on which calls can/cannot be heard, but that may be administrative.
One thing that could be added is a collaborative listen/learn feature. Where all team members can sit in and listen to a call giving real-time

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharpening my sales skills, strengthening my messaging, understanding my own product/company/coworkers. I've onboarded at my new company more quickly, set more meetings, honed messaging. I can even go watch AE calls to prepare for my promotion.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take plenty of time to explore the nooks & crannies with your team so you don't miss any features or create any bad habits. Actively utilize the feedback & playback tools for exponential growth in call quality.
Great tool for managers
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to see transcripts instead of staring at a boring zoom call. I can quickly skim through a call, find areas of focus and pin point where the call went well or poor.
What do you dislike about the product?
Working remotely, it's hard to do a call coaching session with someone over zoom. I have to unplug my headphones and play the call out loud. I have two dogs and a girlfriend in the house, so sometimes that can be a mess, because I can't mute myself in order for everyone to hear the call.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ramping reps, training better calls, etc..

What do you like best about the product?
transcript feature, being able to skip speakers and time stamps.
What do you dislike about the product?
searching for a meetings in the past is difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
review calls, quality, performance, timing
Good experience, highly recommended
What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive to use, allow to research a word or a topic in all the call, thank to the transcript functionality. It makes our teamwork easier
What do you dislike about the product?
The transcript in Italian should be improved
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Searching topics or key words in calls. Help for summary
Gong experience
What do you like best about the product?
Love the fact you can search keyword and look for specific calls.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not sure why specific calls are skipped for recording, and some recorded calls are not recorded correctly; if you listen to those incorrectly recorded calls, you cannot make out what anyone is saying.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Nothing right now.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make the search function better.
Great sales tool to improve individual, team and overall organizational performance.
What do you like best about the product?
"Share a call" or "Tag" tool: I think the collaboration aspect of Gong is great for work shopping with the team/manager as well as sharing prospecting cold calls with the sales reps. The comment aspect has to be my favorite aspect of Gong. I like how the BDR managers and leaders can provide feedback instantly.
What email notification aspects are there for Gong? Curious how I can get instant updates when those within Infor are viewing or commenting on my calls.

What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the written transcript of the call was more accurate. I typically can't just copy and paste the transcript for my notes as a lot of the transcript is wrong. Is this something that can be improved?
I also wish when the call is being recorded live we could mark important points of the call as it happens. That way we could review those important points easily later and dont have to relisten to the whole call later. I wish there was more Gong tools actually within outreach.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've learned how pausing and letting the prospect speak has lead them to open up more and share more qualifying information. It's from the speaker bar at the bottom that has helped me with this. It also has helped our team to better our cold calling skills as we can learn from the successes of our peers especially given that a majority of us started virtually and good not benefit for in-office collaboration/learning opportunties.
Amazing Solution for Sales!
What do you like best about the product?
Gong is the best sales enablement tool any sales rep could ever ask for. I use it almost every day, listening to top performers to train up fast on new products. The transcription and AI functionality is insane - the fact I can type in one keyword and surface up dozens of relevant calls is immensely helpful. And that's not even getting into the deal tracker and team reporting capabilities. I love the product and love the brand, there's always cool resources. Thank you all!
What do you dislike about the product?
It'd be really if any sales rep could surface up issues with transcription. For example, "QA" gets transcribed to "cog." Not a showstopper by any means, but it'd be nice if regular users outside of admin could surface up issues with unique business jargon the system can't pick up on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It hits on a lot of pain points: sales enablement and onboarding new reps like me. Quality Assurance for sales reps (making sure they're running calls correctly). Note-taking and recording, so I can fully listen on calls and go back to watch for additional insights from the call. Insights from calls around talk time, etc.
