GONG IS AMAZING

  • April 26, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What do I like about the software?

The UI is fantastic, I love Gong's heatmap of communication feature, it makes forecasting so much easier, so easy to listen to anybody's calls to see what the most successful reps are doing, and the list goes on. Ever since my company implemented Gong (we reviewed all their competitors as well), my sales skills have increased, and I've closed more deals because of it. I honestly can't say more about how much I've loved the software

What do I like about the company?
Not only is Gong a great software, but they release amazing content for salespeople. All of their content is data-driven and I've improved as a salesperson because of what Gong does BEYOND their existing software.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that comes to mind is understanding and getting used to the Salesforce integration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- Forecasting and knowing how real each deal is
- Ramping period for sales reps
- Providing feedback to reps
- Being able to go back and listen to every call (Before Gong, we relied on how good each sales reps notes were)
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure to follow them on LinkedIn and subscribe to their emails, they post amazing content

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Trying to solve some of my call weaknesses with clients. It is helping me improve

Great teaching tool

  • April 23, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Gong is an extremely helpful tool for teaching and sharing feedback. I love being able to share and annotate snippets and timestamps on calls to help teams improve their performance on calls. The reporting tools are also really useful to see how I stack up to my team in terms of call cadence, performance and management.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that Gong had more customization on call-by-call reporting (such as identifying action items and keywords, admittedly this may just be my inexperience with the tool speaking) and stronger transcription.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In just watching a few of my own calls, I've identified opportunities to improve performance by focusing more on diction and speaking cadence. With help from my management team, I've also been able to identify strengths and opportunities to improve the value of calls for customers as well.

Gong is a great tool to keep track of my meetings

  • April 23, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The analytics Gong provides is really helpful for when I listen back and try to find specific parts of meetings. Also being able to clip parts of a meeting and share them with people is a feature I use frequently.
What do you dislike about the product?
The overall layout is not the most streamlined for user experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Note taking. Keeps me organized and decluttered.

Fantastic tool that has been instrumental to my training

  • April 23, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Gong is incredibly user friendly. As a new user of Gong and also starting a new role I have relied heavily on Gong to help me in my training process. Being able to quickly and easily access past recordings has been great (both on my desktop and mobile). Sharing recordings with customers is easy and the opportunity to pull out portions of the call with minimal effort has been great. I highly recommend the platform!
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything at this time that I don't like - it's been great overall.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Capturing client calls across the organization and making them easy to access, review and share.

Ideal product for management or anyone who couldn't make the call/demo

  • April 23, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love the speaker timeline that shows who is speaking and for how long. It allows one to immediately forward to when certain people are speaking and many other valuable capabilities such as specific topics.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have a big dislike. I would like Gong to automatically record my meetings or be in my Google Meeting and have a drop-down to record my meeting in Gong directly from the meeting app. I think I have to go to Gong first. It's not painful, but it is another step and reducing the steps to use Gong would be beneficial.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I love the transcript portion of the tool. That definitely helps me. One particular benefit with the transcript is the ability to copy and paste statements that people have made.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a great tool. I recommend using it, especially when you cannot join a meeting but want to see it and provide feedback to others on the call. It's a lot more than just watching a recording.

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the fact that I have a personal coach.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not much I dislike... Perhaps just getting used to new tech will take some time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm becoming a better presenter and closer.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
No recommendations. A great product!

Fantastic for sales training

  • April 22, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I can go into data to see one salesperson's performance, a select group, or the team as a whole. While I am training new salespeople, I can check their calls for guidance on what to work on in the next training session.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's so complex; I don't think I am even scratching the surface on all the features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's easy to find gaps in new hires' skills once they get on the phones, and saves time because I don't need to meet with sales managers to get updates on new hires' progress. Being able to target training on actual skill gaps means that the training is highly relevant. In training, we listen to actual calls and analyze them.
