Invaluable tool for call insights, learning, and growth
What do you like best about the product?
Gong has been an essential part of my workflow as a Business Development Representative. I primarily use it to review Discovery meetings that my Sales Executives lead, helping me gather detailed notes, AI-generated insights, and action items. It makes it easy to go back, catch anything I missed live, and prepare stronger follow-up. In previous roles, I've also used Gong to listen to peer calls, which was incredibly helpful for coaching and sharpening my talk track. Gong makes learning, preparation, and ongoing improvement so much easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven’t had any negative experiences with Gong so far. My use has been somewhat limited to reviewing meetings and training, but in those areas, it has been consistently reliable, intuitive, and valuable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gong helps me easily capture key details from Discovery meetings, so nothing gets missed. It also helps me sharpen my skills by reviewing calls and learning what works. It saves time, improves follow-up, and makes me a stronger, more effective BDR.
Achieve higher productivity with time saving AI sales tool
What do you like best about the product?
It automatically tags along to my hosted meetings to take notes and record the discussions. I no longer have to take my attention/focus away from my clients to take notes. It then sends me a summary of the key points and action items. I also search for pertinent and important details of my calls, helping me plan and strategize on next steps
What do you dislike about the product?
The downside of using Gong is that everyone in your company can see your calls and meetings. If you have a micro management team, they can use this to track your activities, scrutinize your discussions and pick apart what you didn't do well on and use it as ways to measure your performance

It help solve captures and organizes customer interactions, reducing the need for manual data entry

What do you like best about the product?
The seamless integration with email, CRM and slack to start with got me amused with gong, the go live and implementation was easy.
After every meeting I'm a part of irrespective of who drives it, I ensure to go back to gong and review notes and highlights to double check and do my post call communication effectively.
I love how I can use gong on my phone and listen to calls on the go while in transit and keep myself updated with what's happening.
The search engine is decent to look up key words and instances.

What do you dislike about the product?
UI bugs, the search engine isnt very accurate and takes time to show up keywords, at times the key words arent captured properly

Summarise AND search
What do you like best about the product?
Been using Gong daily for 6 months now and its capabilities to summarise and search transcripts, accounts and call participants are just unmatched. Extremely helpful as I was ramping up, as it meant I could easily "shadow" calls and also have my teammates offer feedback on my calls. It's easy to use, integrates seamlessly with our CRM and the absolute winning feature is the very effective summary of call highlights and next actions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the speech to text transcript isn't accurate but it's probably on average 80% there

Valuable Sales Tool!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can search through sales calls using specific filtered keywords and find the exact calls I want to listen to. I also like that I can share snippets of calls with colleagues and add comments for training purposes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd love even more AI to get the main points of massive amounts of calls summarized for me daily.

Such a Dynamic tool for calls!
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoyed the transcripts a few years ago when I first started using Gong. Now with the advent of AI for call summaries and recap email drafting the tool has reached a whole new level of useful. I'm able to join a call with the assurance that each item will be notated and relayed back to me with valuable insights.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a way to curate recap emails. While the system captures important details from meetings rather masterfully, I find myself making edits to each draft to sound more like me. If I could input that somewhere on the front end so I could just review and send instead of reviewing, editing, formatting and sending- that would be ideal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me stay on top of note-taking and save time on meetings. Before, I would have to interrupt clients on calls as I was notating things by hand. Now I rely on Gong to record and compile important information in a handy summary. And if I need the details, it's all laid out in the transcript.
Great for ramping
What do you like best about the product?
Gong is so helpful for ramping. I'm able to easily search for calls based on a variety of criteria in order to build on and solidify what I'm learning during onboarding. The AI features are great for drilling down into specific information within the transcript, and it also helps me quickly get up to speed on historical conversations on my accounts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Manually adding Gong for a customer created meeting doesn't seem very intuitive. I don't readily see in the UI where our unique notetaker email is called out so I need to have it noted until I memorize it. It would be nice if there was either a button in our account to have the invite sent if we include the meeting URL or an easy copy and paste button for the notetaker email so we can drop it into the invite.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy to review what happened on a call for accurate note taking/follow-up as well as onboarding and coaching opportunities. It helps me be more intentional during the call and more consistent after the call.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like the ai call summary feature at the click of a button. I enjoy using the ai for asking questions about the calls based on my specific needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
It’s glitchy at times the recorder doesn’t show up. I have to import my calls manually.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We particularly use Gong for call coaching and we are in the process of adoption for this through our entire sales team. We’ve gotten everyone connected and the next steps are the analyze coaching.
Improving myself
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to review my calls and colleagues. An old trick in sales is to shadow the top player and learn. I get to do that everyday if I want to.
Sales Enablement is the key to growth and by reviewing I can enable myself rather than rely just on one or two people.

What do you dislike about the product?
not really a dislike, more of a feature request. the ability to add format to the AI email writer. I find myself rarely using it because the format screams AI to me. I more use it just to get ideas from.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
NoteTaking is the biggest. The ability to go back and take notes after the call and use AI to find certain areas. Gives me the ability to be fully present in my call.
Revolutionized my sales
What do you like best about the product?
I can focus on the conversation at hand without needing to worry about taking notes or involving other people. Also the AI functionality is a life saver for getting summaries of the convo and writing follow-ups

The voice in the beginning of the call can be a bit unnerving, but you can use it as an ice breaker with prospects
